Revelation 7

1 After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.

А по цьому я бачив чотирьох алголі́в, що стояли на чотирьох ку́тах землі та тримали чотири земні вітри́, щоб вітер не віяв на землю, ані на море, ані на жодне дерево.

2 I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,

І бачив я іншого ангола, що від схід сонця вихо́див, і мав печа́тку Бога Живого. І він гучним голосом крикнув до чотирьох алголів, що їм да́но пошкодити землі́ та морю,

3 saying, “Don’t harm the earth, the sea, or the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!”

говорячи: „Не шкодьте ані землі́, ані морю, ані дереву, аж поки ми покладе́мо печа́тки рабам Бога нашого на їхніх чо́лах!“

4 I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel:

І почув я число попеча́таних: сто сорок чотири тисячі попечатаних від усіх племен Ізраїлевих синів:

5 of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed, of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand,

з племени Юдиного — дванадцять тисяч попеча́таних, з племени Руви́мового — дванадцять тисяч, з племени Ґа́дового — дванадцять тисяч,

6 of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand,

з пле́мени Аси́рового — дванадцять тисяч, з племени Нефтали́мового — дванадцять тисяч, з племени Манасі́їного — дванадцять тисяч,

7 of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand,

з племени Симео́нового — дванадцять тисяч, з племени Леві́їного — дванадцять тисяч, з племени Іссаха́рового — дванадцять тисяч,

8 of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, and of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.

з племени Завуло́нового — дванадцять тисяч, з племени Йо́сипового — дванадцять тисяч, з племени Веніями́нового — дванадцять тисяч попеча́таних.

9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could count, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.

Пото́му я глянув, — і ось на́товп великий, що його зрахувати не може ніхто, з усякого люду, і племе́н, і наро́дів, і язи́ків, стояв перед престолом і перед Агнцем, зодя́гнені в білу одежу, а в їхніх руках було па́льмове ві́ття.

10 They cried with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

І взива́ли вони гучним голосом, кажучи: „Спасіння нашому Богові, що сидить на престолі, і Агнцеві!“

11 All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before his throne, and worshiped God,

А всі анголи́ стояли навко́ло престолу та ста́рців і чотирьох тих тварин. І вони на обличчя попадали перед престолом, і вклонилися Богові,

12 saying, “Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever! Amen.” (aiōn g165)

кажучи: „Амі́нь! Благослове́ння, і слава, і мудрість, і хвала́, і честь, і сила, і міць — нашому Богу на вічні віки! Амі́нь!“ (aiōn g165)

13 One of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are arrayed in the white robes, who are they, and where did they come from?”

І відповів один із ста́рців, і до мене сказав: „Оці, що зодя́гнені в білу одежу, — хто вони й звідкіля́ поприхо́дили?“

14 I told him, “My lord, you know.” He said to me, “These are those who came out of the great suffering. They washed their robes and made them white in the Lamb’s blood.

І сказав я йому: „Мій пане, ти знаєш!“Він же мені відказав: „Це ті, що прийшли від великого горя, і випрали одіж свою, та вибілили її в крові Агнця.

15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.

Тому́ то вони перед Божим престолом, і в храмі Його день і ніч Йому служать. А „Той, Хто сидить на престолі, розтя́гне наме́та над ними“.

16 They will never be hungry or thirsty any more. The sun won’t beat on them, nor any heat;

„Вони голоду й спраги терпіти не бу́дуть уже, і не буде палити їх сонце, ані спека яка“.

17 for the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne shepherds them and leads them to springs of life-giving waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Бо Агнець, що серед престолу, „буде їх па́сти, і водитиме їх до джере́л вод життя. І Бог кожну сльозу́ з очей їхніх зітре!“
