Revelation 6
1 I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder, “Come and see!”
૧જયારે હલવાને તે સાત મહોરમાંથી એકને તોડ્યું ત્યારે મેં જોયું, તો ચાર પ્રાણીઓમાંના એકને મેં બોલતાં સાંભળ્યું જાણે ગર્જના થતી હોય તેવા અવાજથી તેણે કહ્યું કે, ‘આવ.’”
2 Then a white horse appeared, and he who sat on it had a bow. A crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.
૨મેં જોયું, તો જુઓ, એક સફેદ ઘોડો હતો, તેના પર જે બેઠેલો હતો તેની પાસે એક ધનુષ્ય હતું; તેને મુગટ આપવામાં આવ્યો, તે પોતે વિજેતા હજી વધુ જીતવા સારુ નીકળ્યો.
3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come!”
૩જ્યારે હલવાને બીજુ મહોર તોડ્યું, ત્યારે મેં બીજા પ્રાણીને એમ કહેતાં સાંભળ્યું કે, ‘આવ.’”
4 Another came out, a red horse. To him who sat on it was given power to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. There was given to him a great sword.
૪ત્યારે બીજો એક લાલ ઘોડો નીકળ્યો; તેના પર જે બેઠેલો હતો તેને પૃથ્વી પરથી શાંતિ નષ્ટ કરવાની સત્તા આપવામાં આવી, જેથી તેઓ એકબીજાને મારી નાખે; વળી તેને એક મોટી તલવાર આપવામાં આવી.
5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come and see!” And behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a balance in his hand.
૫જયારે તેણે ત્રીજું મહોર તોડ્યુ, ત્યારે મેં ત્રીજા પ્રાણીને એમ કહેતાં સાંભળ્યું કે, ‘આવ.’” ત્યારે મેં જોયું, તો જુઓ, એક કાળો ઘોડો હતો; અને તેના પર જે બેઠેલો હતો તેના હાથમાં ત્રાજવાં હતાં.
6 I heard a voice in the middle of the four living creatures saying, “A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenix of barley for a denarius! Don’t damage the oil and the wine!”
૬અને ચાર પ્રાણીઓની વચમાં મેં એક વાણી એમ કહેતી સાંભળી કે, ‘અડધે રૂપિયે પાંચસો ગ્રામ ઘઉં, અડધે રૂપિયે દોઢ કિલો જવ; પણ તેલ તથા દ્રાક્ષારસનો બગાડ તું ન કર.’”
7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see!”
૭જયારે તેણે ચોથું મહોર તોડ્યું, ત્યારે મેં ચોથા પ્રાણીની વાણીને એમ કહેતી સાંભળી કે, ‘આવ.’”
8 And behold, a pale horse, and the name of he who sat on it was Death. Hades followed with him. Authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with famine, with death, and by the wild animals of the earth was given to him. (Hadēs g86)
૮મેં જોયું, તો જુઓ, આછા રંગનો એક ઘોડો; તેના પર જે બેઠેલો હતો તેનું નામ મરણ હતું; પાતાળ તેની પાછળ પાછળ ચાલતું હતું, તલવારથી, દુકાળથી, મરકીથી તથા પૃથ્વી પરનાં હિંસક પશુઓથી જગતમાંનાં ચોથા હિસ્સાને મારી નાખવાનો અધિકાર તેને આપવામાં આવ્યો. (Hadēs g86)
9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been killed for the Word of God, and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had.
૯જયારે તેણે પાંચમુ મહોર તોડ્યું, ત્યારે ઈશ્વરના વચનને લીધે તથા પોતાની મક્કમ સાક્ષીને લીધે મારી નાખવામાં આવેલાના આત્માઓને મેં યજ્ઞવેદી નીચે જોયા.
10 They cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, Master, the holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
૧૦તેઓએ મોટે અવાજે પોકારીને કહ્યું કે, ‘હે સ્વામી, પવિત્ર તથા સત્ય, ઇનસાફ કરવાનું તથા પૃથ્વી પર રહેનારાંઓની પાસેથી અમારા લોહીનો બદલો લેવાનું તમે ક્યાં સુધી મુલતવી રાખશો?’
11 A long white robe was given to each of them. They were told that they should rest yet for a while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who would also be killed even as they were, should complete their course.
૧૧પછી તેઓમાંના દરેકને સફેદ વસ્ત્ર આપવામાં આવ્યું; અને તેઓને એમ કહેવામાં આવ્યું કે ‘તમારા સાથી સેવકો તથા તમારા ભાઈઓ, જેઓ તમારી માફક માર્યા જવાના છે, તેઓની સંખ્યા પૂરી ન થાય, ત્યાં સુધી હજુ થોડીવાર તમે વિસામો લો.’”
12 I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became as blood.
૧૨જયારે તેણે છઠ્ઠું મહોર તોડ્યું, ત્યારે મેં જોયું, તો મોટો ધરતીકંપ થયો; સૂર્ય નિમાળાના કામળા જેવો કાળો થયો, અને આખો ચંદ્ર લોહી જેવો લાલ થઈ ગયો,
13 The stars of the sky fell to the earth, like a fig tree dropping its unripe figs when it is shaken by a great wind.
૧૩જેમ ભારે પવનથી અંજીરી હાલી ઊઠે છે, અને તેનાં કાચાં ફળ તૂટી પડે છે, તેમ આકાશમાંના તારાઓ પૃથ્વી પર ખરી પડ્યા.
14 The sky was removed like a scroll when it is rolled up. Every mountain and island was moved out of its place.
૧૪વળી આકાશ વાળી લીધેલા ઓળિયાની જેમ અદ્રશ્ય થઈ ગયું; દરેક પહાડ તથા બેટને તેમની જગ્યાએથી ખસેડવામાં આવ્યા.
15 The kings of the earth, the princes, the commanding officers, the rich, the strong, and every slave and free person, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains.
૧૫દુનિયાના રાજાઓ, મોટા માણસો, સેનાપતિઓ, શ્રીમંતો, પરાક્રમીઓ તથા દરેક દાસ તથા સ્વતંત્ર, એ તમામ લોકો ગુફાઓમાં તથા પહાડોના ખડકોને પાછળ સંતાઈ ગયા;
16 They told the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,
૧૬તેઓએ પહાડોને તથા ખડકોને કહ્યું કે, ‘અમારા પર પડો, રાજ્યાસન પર બેઠેલાની નજર આગળથી તથા હલવાનના કોપથી અમને છુપાવી દો.’”
17 for the great day of his wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”
૧૭કેમ કે તેઓના કોપનો મોટો દિવસ આવ્યો છે; એટલે કોણ તેનાથી બચી શકે?
