< Revelation 21 >

1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.
Kenaka ndinaona kumwamba kwatsopano ndi dziko lapansi latsopano pakuti kumwamba koyamba ndi dziko lapansi loyamba zinapita ndipo kunalibenso nyanja ina iliyonse.
2 I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.
Ndinaona mzinda wopatulika, Yerusalemu watsopano, ukutsika kuchokera kumwamba kwa Mulungu, utakonzedwa ngati mkwatibwi wovala zokongola kukonzekera mwamuna wake.
3 I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with people; and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
Ndipo ndinamva mawu ofuwula kuchokera ku Mpando Waufumu kuti, “Taonani! Malo wokhalapo Mulungu ali pakati pa anthu, ndipo Iye adzakhala ndi anthuwo. Iwo adzakhala anthu ake ndipo Mulungu mwini adzakhala nawo nakhala Mulungu wawo.
4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more. The first things have passed away.”
‘Mulungu adzapukuta misozi yonse mʼmaso mwawo. Sikudzakhalanso imfa kapena kukhuza maliro kapena kulira kapena ululu popeza zakale zapita.’”
5 He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.”
Amene anakhala pa mpando waufumuyo anati, “Ndikulenga zinthu zonse zikhale zatsopano!” Ndipo anati, “Lemba izi, pakuti mawu awa ndi okhulupirika ndi woona.”
6 He said to me, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.
Iye anandiwuza kuti, “Kwatha. Ine ndine Alefa ndi Omega, Woyamba ndi Wotsiriza. Kwa onse akumva ludzu, ndidzawapatsa zakumwa zaulere zochokera ku kasupe wamadzi amoyo.
7 He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.
Iye amene adzapambane adzalandira zonsezi, ndipo ndidzakhala Mulungu wake ndi Iye adzakhala mwana wanga.
8 But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
Koma amantha, osakhulupirira, okonda zonyansa, opha anthu, achiwerewere, amatsenga, opembedza mafano ndi abodza, malo awo adzakhala nyanja yamoto ya sulufule wotentha. Iyi ndi imfa yachiwiri.” (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls which were loaded with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”
Mmodzi wa angelo asanu ndi awiri aja, anali ndi mbale zisanu ndi ziwiri zodzaza ndi miliri yotsiriza isanu ndi iwiri anandiwuza kuti, “Bwera, ine ndidzakuonetsa mkwatibwi wa Mwana Wankhosa.”
10 He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
Ndipo anandinyamula mwa Mzimu Woyera kupita nane ku phiri lalikulu ndi lalitali nandionetsa mzinda wopatulika, Yerusalemu ukutsika kuchokera kumwamba kwa Mulungu.
11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Unawala ndi ulemerero wa Mulungu, ndipo kuthwanima kwake kunali ngati mwala wamtengowapatali, ngati jasipa; woyera ngati krustalo.
12 having a great and high wall with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.
Mzindawo unali ndi mpanda waukulu ndi wautali, unali ndi zipata khumi ndi ziwiri, ndipo panali angelo khumi ndi awiri. Pa chipata chilichonse panayima mngelo. Pa chipata chilichonse panalembedwa dzina la fuko la Israeli.
13 On the east were three gates, and on the north three gates, and on the south three gates, and on the west three gates.
Kummawa kunali zipata zitatu, kumpoto zitatu, kummwera zitatu ndi kumadzulo zitatu.
14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.
Mpanda wa mzindawu unali ndi maziko khumi ndi awiri ndipo pa mazikopo panali mayina khumi ndi awiri a atumwi a Mwana Wankhosa.
15 He who spoke with me had for a measure a golden reed to measure the city, its gates, and its walls.
Mngelo amene ankayankhula nane uja anali ndi ndodo yagolide yoyezera mzindawo, zipata zake ndi mpanda wake.
16 The city is square. Its length is as great as its width. He measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand twelve stadia. Its length, width, and height are equal.
Mzindawo unamangidwa mofanana kutalika kwake, mulitali ndi mulifupi munali mofanana. Anayeza mzindawo ndi ndodo ija ndipo anapeza kuti mulitali, mulifupi ndi msinkhu wake kutalika kwake kunali makilomita 2,200.
17 Its wall is one hundred forty-four cubits, by the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.
Anayesa mpanda uja ndipo kuchindikala kwake kunali kopitirirapo mamita 65 monga mwa muyeso wa anthu umene mngelo anagwiritsa ntchito.
18 The construction of its wall was jasper. The city was pure gold, like pure glass.
Mpandawo unapangidwa ndi yasipa, ndipo mzindawo unali wagolide oyengeka owala ngati galasi.
19 The foundations of the city’s wall were adorned with all kinds of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire; the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,
Maziko a mpanda wa mzindawo anali okongoletsedwa ndi miyala yamtengowapatali ya mtundu uliwonse. Maziko oyamba anali yasipa, achiwiri anali safiro, achitatu ndi kalikedo, achinayi ndi simaragido,
20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
achisanu ndi sardiyo, achisanu ndi chiwiri ndi krusolito, achisanu ndi chitatu ndi berulo, achisanu ndi chinayi ndi topaziyo, a khumi ndi krusoprazo, a khumi ndi chimodzi ndi huakito, a khumi ndi chiwiri ndi emetusto.
21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each one of the gates was made of one pearl. The street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
Zipata khumi ndi ziwiri zija zinapangidwa ndi ngale, chipata chilichonse chinapangidwa ndi ngale imodzi. Misewu ya mzindawo inali yopangidwa ndi golide oyengeka, owala ngati galasi.
22 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
Ine sindinaone Nyumba ya Mulungu iliyonse mu mzindawo chifukwa Ambuye Mulungu Wamphamvuzonse ndi Mwana Wankhosa ndiwo Nyumba yake.
23 The city has no need for the sun or moon to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it and its lamp is the Lamb.
Palibe chifukwa choti dzuwa kapena mwezi ziwale popeza mu mzindawo ulemerero wa Mulungu ndiwo umawalamo ndipo nyale yake ndi Mwana Wankhosa uja.
24 The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.
Mitundu ya anthu idzayenda mʼkuwala kwake ndipo mafumu a dziko lapansi adzabweretsa ulemerero wawo mu mzindamo.
25 Its gates will in no way be shut by day (for there will be no night there),
Zipata zake sizidzatsekedwa ngakhale tsiku limodzi lomwe pakuti sikudzakhala usiku kumeneko.
26 and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it so that they may enter.
Ulemerero ndi ulemu wa mitundu ya anthu adzapita nazo kumeneko.
27 There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Kanthu kosayeretsedwa sikadzalowamo, kuphatikizanso aliyense wochita zinthu zochititsa manyazi ndi zachinyengo, koma okhawo amene mayina awo alembedwa mʼbuku lamoyo la Mwana Wankhosa.
