Revelation 20
1 I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. (Abyssos g12)
Y vi un ángel descender del cielo, que tenía la llave del abismo, y una grande cadena en su mano. (Abyssos g12)
2 He seized the dragon, the old serpent, who is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years,
Y agarró al dragón, antigua serpiente, que es el Diablo, y Satanás, y le ató por mil años.
3 and cast him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time. (Abyssos g12)
Y le arrojó al abismo, y le encerró, y selló sobre él; porque no engañase más a las naciones hasta que los mil años fuesen cumplidos, y después de esto, es necesario que sea desatado por un poco de tiempo. (Abyssos g12)
4 I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and such as didn’t worship the beast nor his image, and didn’t receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Y ví tronos, y se sentaron sobre ellos, y les fue dado el juicio: y ví las almas de los que habían sido degollados por el testimonio de Jesús, y por la palabra de Dios, y que no habían adorado la bestia, ni a su imagen, y que no habían recibido su marca en sus frentes, ni en sus manos; y vivieron, y reinaron con Cristo mil años.
5 The rest of the dead didn’t live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Empero los demás muertos no tornaron a vivir, hasta que fueron cumplidos los mil años: esta es la primera resurrección.
6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.
Bienaventurado y santo el que tiene parte en la primera resurrección: la segunda muerte no tiene potestad sobre los tales: antes serán sacerdotes de Dios, y de Cristo, y reinarán con él mil años.
7 And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison
Y cuando los mil años fueren cumplidos, Satanás será suelto de su prisión;
8 and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, whose number is as the sand of the sea.
Y saldrá para engañar las naciones que están en las cuatro esquinas de la tierra, Gog y Magog, a fin de congregarlas para la batalla, el número de las cuales es como la arena de la mar.
9 They went up over the width of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. Fire came down out of heaven from God and devoured them.
Y subieron sobre la anchura de la tierra, y anduvieron al derredor de los ejércitos de los santos, y de la ciudad amada. Y de Dios descendió fuego del cielo, y los tragó.
11 I saw a great white throne and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them.
Y ví un gran trono blanco, y al que estaba sentado sobre él, de delante del cual huyó la tierra y el cielo; y no se halló lugar para ellos.
12 I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Y ví los muertos, grandes y pequeños, que estaban en pie delante de Dios; y los libros fueron abiertos; y otro libro fue abierto, el cual es el libro de la vida; y fueron juzgados los muertos por las cosas que estaban escritas en los libros, según sus obras.
13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. (Hadēs g86)
Y la mar dio los muertos que estaban en ella; y la muerte, y el infierno dieron los muertos que estaban en ellos; y fue hecho juicio de cada uno de ellos según sus obras. (Hadēs g86)
