Revelation 20
1 I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. (Abyssos g12)
Und ich sah einen Engel aus dem Himmel herabsteigen, der hatte den Schlüssel des Abgrundes und eine große Kette auf seiner Hand. (Abyssos g12)
2 He seized the dragon, the old serpent, who is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years,
Und er griff den Drachen, die alte Schlange, welche ist der Teufel und der Satan, und band ihn tausend Jahre;
3 and cast him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time. (Abyssos g12)
Und warf ihn in den Abgrund und verschloß ihn und versiegelte über ihm, damit er die Völkerschaften nicht weiter irreführte, bis die tausend Jahre vollendet wären, und danach muß er auf eine kleine Zeit gelöst werden. (Abyssos g12)
4 I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and such as didn’t worship the beast nor his image, and didn’t receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Und ich sah Throne, und sie setzten sich darauf, und es ward ihnen gegeben das Gericht und die Seelen derer, die um des Zeugnisses Jesu und des Wortes Gottes willen unter dem Beile fielen, und die das Tier und sein Bild nicht angebetet, noch das Malzeichen an ihre Stirn und auf ihre Hand angenommen; und sie lebten und regierten mit Christus die tausend Jahre.
5 The rest of the dead didn’t live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Die übrigen aber von den Toten lebten nicht auf, bis daß die tausend Jahre vollendet wären. Dies ist die erste Auferstehung.
6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.
Selig und heilig ist, wer teilhat an der ersten Auferstehung. Über diese hat der zweite Tod keine Gewalt! Sondern sie sollen Priester Gottes und des Christus sein, und mit Ihm regieren tausend Jahre.
7 And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison
Und wenn die tausend Jahre vollendet sind, wird der Satan aus seinem Gefängnis gelöst werden;
8 and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, whose number is as the sand of the sea.
Und wird ausgehen irrezuführen die Völkerschaften in den vier Ecken der Erde, den Gog und den Magog, sie zum Kriege zu versammeln, deren Zahl ist wie der Sand am Meere.
9 They went up over the width of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. Fire came down out of heaven from God and devoured them.
Und sie zogen herauf über die Breite der Erde und umringten das Lager der Heiligen und die geliebte Stadt. Und es kam Feuer von Gott aus dem Himmel herab und verzehrte sie.
11 I saw a great white throne and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them.
Und ich sah einen weißen, großen Thron, und Den, Der darauf saß, vor Dessen Angesicht die Erde und der Himmel flohen; und keine Stätte ward für sie gefunden.
12 I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Und ich sah die Toten, kleine und große, vor Gott stehen, und Bücher wurden aufgetan; und ein anderes Buch ward aufgetan, welches das des Lebens ist; und die Toten wurden gerichtet aus dem, was in den Büchern geschrieben war, nach ihren Werken.
13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. (Hadēs g86)
Und das Meer gab die Toten, die in ihm waren, und der Tod und Hölle gaben die Toten, die in ihnen waren, und sie wurden gerichtet, jeder nach seinen Werken. (Hadēs g86)
