< Revelation 18 >

1 After these things, I saw another angel coming down out of the sky, having great authority. The earth was illuminated with his glory.

2 He cried with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and she has become a habitation of demons, a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hated bird!
Heh ah erong ih ame riingta: “Heh edat eta! Babiloon elong ah edat eta! Amadi heh ah chiithih laakhah loong nyia enyaan chiiala loong tongtheng nok ih hoonla; jaatrep enyaan nyia miksuk etjih woh loong ah heh damdi songtong rumla.
3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality, the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from the abundance of her luxury.”
Tumeah deek akaan thoontang ih heh mootkaat ethih adoh ramka theng, heh kham ruuwaawa ah jok rumha. Hatoh nawa luungwang loong ah heh damdoh roomjup ah jaangse rumla, eno latoohaat thang ih ramkaala mootkaat rah ih mongrep dowa pheehoonte loong ah changteng ih hoon rumla.”
4 I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you don’t receive of her plagues,
Erah lidi rangmong nawa root ehoh ame jeng arah chaattang, “Nga mina loong, dokkhoom ehan! Heh jiin nawa dokkhoom ehan! Sen loong heh rangdah nah lajaatjaat roong phoowo theng; sen loong heh chamnaang theng adoh lajaatjaat roong chamtheng!
5 for her sins have reached to the sky, and God has remembered her iniquities.
Tumeah heh rangdah loong ah rang thanthan choong ih meela, eno Rangte ih heh lajak lampo loong ah samthunha.
6 Return to her just as she returned, and repay her double as she did, and according to her works. In the cup which she mixed, mix to her double.
Heh sen damdi mame reeraang taha emamah sen uh heh damdoh reeraang an; heh sen damdi mathan reeraang taha erah nang ih sen heh damdoh leknyi than ehan ih them reeraang an. Kham ah heh lookkep adoh leknyi than ehan et boot ru sumthuk an, sen suh jok thuk suh ban khookhamta nang ih ah.
7 However much she glorified herself and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, ‘I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.’
Heh suh chamnaang nyia mongjoong ah ehan ih koh an heh teenuh chaan apaan pan nyia laboot labe ih tongsongta anang ih ehan ah. Tumeah heh teeteenuh suh amet liiha: ‘Wangchaanah, ngah aadi tonglang! Ngah thaknuh tah angkang, Ngah ih thungjoong ah babah uh takah jatkang!’
8 Therefore in one day her plagues will come: death, mourning, and famine; and she will be utterly burned with fire, for the Lord God who has judged her is strong.
Erah tungthoidoh, thang ariin ih heh ah saasiit doh thet haat ah— khoisat, thungjoong nyia ram loong rah ih ah. Eno heh ah we nah khaam ah, tumeah, heh dandeete, Teesu Rangte ah, elong.”
9 The kings of the earth who committed sexual immorality and lived wantonly with her will weep and wail over her, when they look at the smoke of her burning,
Hatoh luungwang loong heh damdi jootthih mootkaat nyia roong ramkaate loong ah samnuthung khaam theng weelak nyia weekhot ah sok rum ano, neng mikse janhaat damdoh huung rum ah.
10 standing far away for the fear of her torment, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! For your judgment has come in one hour.’
Neng loong ah haloot nah chap rum ah, tumeah heh damdoh roong chamnaang suh neng echo ih rum ah. Neng ih liirum ah, “Tumthan echoojih ah! Michoomiphaan ah! Elong nyia chaan aphaan samnuthung Bebiloon arah ah. Koonta siit mongdi an ah chamnaang thuk halu!”
11 The merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise any more:
Hatoh dowa Pheehoonte loong ah nep hethun huung rum ah nyia mongjoong ang rum ah, tumeah neng hukkhaak riikte o uh takah jeeka ang ah;
12 merchandise of gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, purple, silk, scarlet, all expensive wood, every vessel of ivory, every vessel made of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble;
o ih uh neng dowa hun, ngunkholok, jongmi, thaangchaan jekteh; chaakrih hukkhaak loong ah, saangham nyuh, nyuleep, nyia nyusaang nyuh loong riikte tajeeka ang ah; jaatrep bang dongmoonjih loong ah nyia pookraang nawa ih hoon arah loong ah nyia thaangchaan bang, jaansaang, jaanmi, nyia seengsah jong;
13 and cinnamon, incense, perfume, frankincense, wine, olive oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, chariots, and people’s bodies and souls.
nyia kuuchiing, hejook hebook, etingtakjih, mir bangtiik, nyia phrenkiinsens phontum; kham nyia olip thiing, ataatiik nyia ataabaan, liiamaan nyia saap, mok nyia mokkaari, dah loong, nyia mina loong roidong ah nep uh eriikte takah jeeka ang ah.
14 The fruits which your soul lusted after have been lost to you. All things that were dainty and sumptuous have perished from you, and you will find them no more at all.
Pheehoonte loong ah ih heh suh liirum ah, “An hukkhaak eseejih loong an taat jamtu ah jaatrep etikmat eta, nyia an nyamka nyia ephaakja loong ah ethoon eta, eno an ih erah loong ah babah uh takah we ngaak chojamko!”
15 The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, will stand far away for the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,
Erah samnuthung adi pheehoonte loong phe hoon rum ano changteng angte loong ah haloot nah tangchap rum ah, tumeah neng heh damdoh roong chamnaang ra echo ih rum ah. Neng ah mongjoong ih ehuung rum ah,
16 saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, she who was dressed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls!
eno jeng rum ah, “Tumthan echoojih ah! Elong samnuthung ah tumthan echootheng angla! Heh ah chaakrih nyuh, saangham nyuh nyia nyusaang di kachoomta, nyia heh teenuh sak adi hun jeksah saankah, jongmi nyia thaangchaan jekteh nawa ih kame thukta!
17 For in an hour such great riches are made desolate.’ Every ship master, and everyone who sails anywhere, and mariners, and as many as gain their living by sea, stood far away,
Eno erah loong nyamka ah heh ih koonta siit di mat haat ha!” Khoonkhuung nawa phokhoh nyia khoonkhuung ni soonte loong, khoonkhuung jopte nyia mihoh thoontang, erah juung dowa niikphaksatte loong ah haloot nah tangchap rum ah,
18 and cried out as they looked at the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like the great city?’
eno heh ah weekhot damdoh weelak nah matkhaam arah tup rum ano riinghuung rum ah: “Arah likhiik samnuthung elong ah ehoh maani uh tajeeta!”
19 They cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and mourning, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had their ships in the sea were made rich by reason of her great wealth!’ For she is made desolate in one hour.
Neng khoh ni bungwiik ah riirum ano ehuung nyia esine damdi jeng rumta, “Tumthan echoojih ah! Tumthan echo theng ah elong samnuthung rah ah! Samnuthung elong ah heh, eno juungsih ni khoonkhuung lengli thukte loong ah erah nyamka nawa ih changteng ih hoon rumta!” Eno heh ih koonta siit di jaatrep ah mat haat ah!”
20 “Rejoice over her, O heaven, you saints, apostles, and prophets, for God has judged your judgment on her.”
Rangmong dowa loong, heh thetkhat asuh tenroon ang an! Tenroon ang an, Rangte mina nyia kaamwah, nyia khowah loong!” Tumeah heh sen damdi tumjaat reeta thaang ah, Rangte ih heh edut haat et ha!
21 A mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down, and will be found no more at all.
Erah lidi chaan aphaan pan rangsah rah ih jong elong raan jittheng than jonglo ah toon ano juungsih adi lup haatta eno liita, “Arah likhiik Bebiiloon samnuthung elong ah emamah erong ih babah uh lakah ngaak tup thang ih lup haatwan ah.
22 The voice of harpists, minstrels, flute players, and trumpeters will be heard no more at all in you. No craftsman of whatever craft will be found any more at all in you. The sound of a mill will be heard no more at all in you.
Bang changding root nyia mina root loong ah, phuiliilaang motte root nyia liirong motte mina root loong ah, sen jiin nawa babah uh takah we japchaatka ang ah! Pheehoon thengnah mina moh arah an jiinnah takah jeeka ang ah; nyia raan karengjitta root loong ah takah japchaatka!
23 The light of a lamp will shine no more at all in you. The voice of the bridegroom and of the bride will be heard no more at all in you, for your merchants were the princes of the earth; for with your sorcery all the nations were deceived.
Weetook kaphaakta loong ah an jiinnah phaak arah takah tupka; kuhoonte jaaro jaalah loong root ah takah jeeka ang ah. Mongrep ni an jiin nawa pheehoonte loong ah elongthoon ang rumta, eno emoong moontoro nawa ih an ih mongrep mina loong ah mokwaantu!”
24 In her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on the earth.”
Bebiiloon ah hoocham thuk etta tumeah erah samnuthung adi khowah loong nyia Rangte mina loong sih ah chotup rumta; elang eah, erah ah hatoh nih tek haat rumta loong sih rah angta.
