Revelation 14
1 I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads.
Und ich sah: siehe das Lamm stand auf dem Berge Sion, und mit ihm hundert vier und vierzig tausend, die seinen Namen und den Namen seines Vaters geschrieben trugen auf ihrer Stirn.
2 I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps.
Und ich hörte eine Stimme vom Himmel wie das Rauschen großer Wasser und wie das Tosen starken Donners, und die Stimme die ich hörte, war wie Spiel von Citherspielern,
3 They sing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth.
und sie sangen wie ein neues Lied vor dem Throne und vor den vier Tieren und den Aeltesten; und niemand konnte das Lied lernen außer den hundert vier und vierzig tausend die erkauft sind von der Erde.
4 These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
Sie sinds die sich nicht befleckt haben mit Weibern; sie sind jungfräulich geblieben. Sie sinds die dem Lamme folgen, wohin es gehen mag. Sie wurden erkauft aus den Menschen als Erstlinge für Gott und das Lamm.
5 In their mouth was found no lie, for they are blameless.
Und in ihrem Munde ward keine Lüge gefunden. Sie sind ohne Fehl.
6 I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language, and people. (aiōnios g166)
Und ich sah einen anderen Engel fliegen im Mittelhimmel, der ein ewiges Evangelium hatte zu verkünden bei denen die auf der Erde wohnen, bei allen Nationen, Stämmen, Sprachen und Völkern, (aiōnios g166)
7 He said with a loud voice, “Fear the Lord, and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters!”
und mit lauter Stimme rief: fürchtet Gott und bringt ihm Preis; denn die Stunde seines Gerichts ist gekommen; so betet an den Schöpfer des Himmels und der Erde, des Meeres und der Wasserquellen.
8 Another, a second angel, followed, saying, “Babylon the great has fallen, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality.”
Und ein weiterer zweiter Engel folgte nach und rief: gefallen, gefallen ist die große Babylon, welche mit dem Zornwein ihrer Unzucht die Nationen getränkt hat.
9 Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
Und ein weiterer dritter Engel folgte ihnen und rief laut: wer das Tier anbetet und sein Bild, und den Stempel empfängt auf seiner Stirn oder seiner Hand,
10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
der soll auch trinken von dem Zornwein Gottes, dem lauter gemischten im Becher seines Gerichts, und soll gefoltert werden mit Feuer und Schwefel vor heiligen Engeln und vor dem Lamm.
11 The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. (aiōn g165)
Und der Rauch ihrer Folter steigt auf in alle Ewigkeit; und sie haben nicht Ruhe Tag und Nacht, die da anbeteten das Tier und sein Bild, und wer den Stempel seines Namens empfängt. (aiōn g165)
12 Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”
Hier gilt die Geduld der Heiligen, sie halten die Gebote Gottes und den Glauben an Jesus.
13 I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their works follow with them.”
Und ich hörte eine Stimme vom Himmel rufen: schreibe: selig sind die Toten, die im Herrn sterben von nun an. Fürwahr, sagt der Geist, sie sollen ruhen von ihren Mühen; denn ihre Werke folgen ihnen nach.
14 I looked, and saw a white cloud, and on the cloud one sitting like a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
Und ich sah: siehe, eine weiße Wolke, und auf der Wolke saß einer gleich wie ein Menschensohn, der hatte auf seinem Haupte einen goldenen Kranz und in seiner Hand eine scharfe Sichel.
15 Another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Send your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe!”
Und ein anderer Engel gieng hervor aus dem Tempel und rief mit lauter Stimme dem zu, der auf der Wolke saß: laß die Sichel ausgehen und ernte; denn die Stunde ist gekommen zu ernten, denn die Ernte der Erde ist dürr geworden.
16 He who sat on the cloud thrust his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
Und der auf der Wolke saß, warf die Sichel über die Erde, und die Ernte gieng über die Erde.
17 Another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven. He also had a sharp sickle.
Und ein anderer Engel gieng hervor aus dem Tempel im Himmel, der hatte ebenfalls eine scharfe Sichel;
18 Another angel came out from the altar, he who has power over fire, and he called with a great voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Send your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the earth’s grapes are fully ripe!”
und ein anderer Engel gieng aus vom Altar, der hatte Gewalt über das Feuer, und rief mit lauter Stimme dem zu, der die scharfe Sichel hatte: laß deine scharfe Sichel ausgehen und schneide die Trauben vom Weinstock der Erde, denn ihre Beeren sind reif geworden.
19 The angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth and threw it into the great wine press of the wrath of God.
Und der Engel warf seine Sichel über die Erde und schnitt den Weinstock der Erde, und warf es in die große Zorneskelter Gottes.
20 The wine press was trodden outside of the city, and blood came out of the wine press, up to the bridles of the horses, as far as one thousand six hundred stadia.
Und die Kelter ward getreten außerhalb der Stadt, und es gieng Blut aus von der Kelter bis herauf an die Zügel der Pferde, eintausendsechshundert Stadien weit.
