Revelation 10
1 I saw a mighty angel coming down out of the sky, clothed with a cloud. A rainbow was on his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
[Na visão ]eu vi outro poderoso anjo que descia do céu. Uma nuvem [o envolvia]. Por cima da cabeça dele havia um arco-íris. O rosto dele [brilhava ][SIM] como o sol. As pernas pareciam pilares de fogo.
2 He had in his hand a little open book. He set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the land.
Ele tinha na mão um pequeno pergaminho aberto. Firmou o pé direito no mar e o pé esquerdo na terra.
3 He cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. When he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.
Ele gritou algo em voz alta como a voz de um leão que ruge. Quando ele assim bradou, trovejou sete [vezes], dizendo [palavras que consegui entender].
4 When the seven thunders sounded, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from the sky saying, “Seal up the things which the seven thunders said, and don’t write them.”
Quando [assim ]trovejou, eu estava para escrever [aquelas palavras, ]mas ouvi uma voz do céu que me dizia: “Mantenha em segredo aquilo que o trovão falou! Não o escreva!”
5 The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to the sky
Então o anjo que eu tinha visto antes com os pés no mar e na terra levantou a mão direita ao céu,
6 and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there will no longer be delay, (aiōn g165)
pedindo que aquele que vive para sempre, o mesmo que criou o céu e tudo que há nele, e [que também criou ]a terra e tudo que há nela e [que criou também ]o mar e tudo que há nele, afirmasse ser verdade aquilo que ele dizia. (aiōn g165)
7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as he declared to his servants the prophets.
Ele disse que não adiaria mais [aquilo que tinha determinado]. Pelo contrário, [chegado ]o momento de o sétimo anjo tocar a trombeta, o plano secreto de Deus ia ser completado {ele completaria o plano secreto de Deus}, bem como tinha anunciado [há muito tempo ]aos seus servos, os profetas.
8 The voice which I heard from heaven, again speaking with me, said, “Go, take the book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.”
Aquele cuja voz eu tinha ouvido do céu me falou novamente. Ele disse: “Vá pegar o pergaminho aberto da mão do anjo que está em pé no mar e na terra”.
9 I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”
Assim, eu me aproximei do anjo e pedi que ele me entregasse o pequeno pergaminho. Ele me disse: “Pegue e coma. Na boca [terá sabor ]doce como mel, mas lhe amargará o estômago”.
10 I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. When I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.
Tirei o pequeno pergaminho da mão do anjo e o comi. Senti na boca um [sabor ]doce como de mel, mas depois de comer, senti o estômago amargo.
11 They told me, “You must prophesy again over many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.”
Aquele cuja [voz falava do céu me disse]: “Você deve profetizar novamente sobre muitos [povos], muitas nações, [falantes de ]muitas línguas [MTY] e muitos reis”.
