< Psalms 82 >

1 A Psalm by Asaph. God presides in the great assembly. He judges among the gods.
Asaf dwom. Onyankopɔn di ɔhene wɔ ɔsoro asafo mu; ɔbu atɛn wɔ “anyame” mu.
2 “How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” (Selah)
“Wobɛbɔ wɔn a wɔnteneɛ ho ban na woayɛ animhwɛ ama amumuyɛfoɔ akɔsi da bɛn?
3 “Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
Monka mmɔborɔfoɔ ne nwisiaa asɛm mma wɔn; mommɔ ahiafoɔ ne wɔn a wɔhyɛ wɔn so yiedie ho ban.
4 Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”
Monnye ɔbrɛfoɔ ne ohiani; monnye wɔn mfiri amumuyɛfoɔ nsam.
5 They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
“Wɔnnim hwee, na wɔnte hwee ase. Wɔkyinkyini wɔ esum mu; na asase fapem nyinaa woso.
6 I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.
“Mekaa sɛ, ‘Moyɛ “anyame”; mo nyinaa yɛ Ɔsorosoroni no mma.’
7 Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.”
Nanso, mobɛwuwu sɛ nnipa pɛ; na moahwe ase sɛ sodifoɔ biara.”
8 Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.
Ao Onyankopɔn, sɔre na bɛbu ewiase atɛn; ɛfiri sɛ amanaman nyinaa yɛ wo dea.
