Psalms 65

1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. A song. Praise waits for you, God, in Zion. Vows shall be performed to you.

۱ برای سالار مغنیان. مزمور و سرود داود ای خدا، تسبیح در صهیون منتظرتوست. و نذرها برای تو وفا خواهدشد.

2 You who hear prayer, all men will come to you.

۲ ‌ای که دعا می‌شنوی! نزد تو تمامی بشرخواهند آمد.

3 Sins overwhelmed me, but you atoned for our transgressions.

۳ گناهان بر من غالب آمده است. توتقصیرهای مرا کفاره خواهی کرد.

4 Blessed is the one whom you choose and cause to come near, that he may live in your courts. We will be filled with the goodness of your house, your holy temple.

۴ خوشابحال کسی‌که او را برگزیده، و مقرب خود ساخته‌ای تابه درگاههای تو ساکن شود. از نیکویی خانه توسیر خواهیم شد و از قدوسیت هیکل تو.

5 By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, of those who are far away on the sea.

۵ به چیزهای ترسناک در عدل، ما را جواب خواهی داد، ای خدایی که نجات ما هستی. ای که پناه تمامی اقصای جهان و ساکنان بعیده دریاهستی.

6 By your power, you form the mountains, having armed yourself with strength.

۶ و کوهها را به قوت خود مستحکم ساخته‌ای، و کمر خود را به قدرت بسته‌ای.

7 You still the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.

۷ وتلاطم دریا را ساکن می‌گردانی، تلاطم امواج آن وشورش امت‌ها را.

8 They also who dwell in faraway places are afraid at your wonders. You call the morning’s dawn and the evening with songs of joy.

۸ ساکنان اقصای جهان ازآیات تو ترسانند. مطلع های صبح و شام راشادمان می‌سازی.

9 You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it.

۹ از زمین تفقد نموده، آن راسیراب می‌کنی و آن را بسیار توانگر می‌گردانی. نهر خدا از آب پر است. غله ایشان را آماده می‌کنی زیرا که بدین طور تهیه کرده‌ای.

10 You drench its furrows. You level its ridges. You soften it with showers. You bless it with a crop.

۱۰ پشته هایش را سیراب می‌کنی و مرزهایش راپست می‌سازی. به بارشها آن را شاداب می‌نمایی. نباتاتش را برکت می‌دهی.

11 You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance.

۱۱ به احسان خویش سال را تاجدار می‌سازی و راههای توچربی را می‌چکاند.

12 The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness.

۱۲ مرتع های صحرا نیزمی چکاند. و کمر تلها به شادمانی بسته شده است.

13 The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing.

۱۳ چمنها به گوسفندان آراسته شده است و دره هابه غله پیراسته؛ از شادی بانگ می‌زنند و نیزمی سرایند.
