Psalms 130

1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I have cried to you, Yahweh.

Cantique de Maaloth. O Éternel, je t'invoque des lieux profonds.

2 Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.

Seigneur, écoute ma voix! Que tes oreilles soient attentives à la voix de mes supplications!

3 If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

Éternel, si tu prends garde aux iniquités, Seigneur, qui subsistera?

4 But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.

Mais le pardon se trouve auprès de toi, afin qu'on te craigne.

5 I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word.

J'ai attendu l'Éternel; mon âme l'a attendu, et j'ai eu mon espérance en sa parole.

6 My soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.

Mon âme attend le Seigneur, plus que les sentinelles n'attendent le matin.

7 Israel, hope in Yahweh, for there is loving kindness with Yahweh. Abundant redemption is with him.

Israël, attends-toi à l'Éternel, car la miséricorde est auprès de l'Éternel, et la rédemption se trouve en abondance auprès de lui.

8 He will redeem Israel from all their sins.

Et lui-même rachètera Israël de toutes ses iniquités.
