Psalms 121

1 A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from?

١ أَرْفَعُ عَيْنَيَّ إِلَى الْجِبَالِ. مِنْ أَيْنَ يَأْتِي عَوْنِي؟

2 My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.

٢ يَأْتِي عَوْنِي مِنْ عِنْدِ الرَّبِّ، صَانِعِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ.

3 He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber.

٣ لاَ يَدَعُ قَدَمَكَ تَزِلُّ. لاَ يَنْعَسُ حَافِظُكَ.

4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

٤ لاَ يَنْعَسُ وَلاَ يَنَامُ حَافِظُ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

5 Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand.

٥ الرَّبُّ هُوَ حَافِظُكَ، الرَّبُّ سِتْرٌ لَكَ عَنْ يَمِينِكَ.

6 The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

٦ لَنْ تَضْرِبَكَ الشَّمْسُ بِحَرِّهَا نَهَاراً وَلاَ الْقَمَرُ بِنُورِهِ لَيْلاً.

7 Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul.

٧ يَقِيكَ الرَّبُّ مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ. يَقِي نَفْسَكَ.

8 Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more.

٨ الرَّبُّ يَحْفَظُ ذَهَابَكَ وَإِيَابَكَ مِنَ الآنَ وَإِلَى الأَبَدِ.
