Proverbs 24
1 Don’t be envious of evil men, neither desire to be with them;
Ну пизмуи пе оамений чей рэй ши ну дори сэ фий ку ей;
2 for their hearts plot violence and their lips talk about mischief.
кэч инима лор се гындеште ла прэпэд ши бузеле лор ворбеск нелеӂюирь.
3 Through wisdom a house is built; by understanding it is established;
Прин ынцелепчуне се ыналцэ о касэ ши прин причепере се ынтэреште;
4 by knowledge the rooms are filled with all rare and beautiful treasure.
прин штиинцэ се умплу кэмэриле ей де тоате бунэтэциле де прец ши плэкуте.
5 A wise man has great power. A knowledgeable man increases strength,
Ун ом ынцелепт есте плин де путере ши чел причепут ышь оцелеште влага.
6 for by wise guidance you wage your war, and victory is in many advisors.
Кэч прин мэсурь кибзуите кыштиӂь бэтэлия, ши прин мареле нумэр ал сфетничилор ай бируинца.
7 Wisdom is too high for a fool. He doesn’t open his mouth in the gate.
Ынцелепчуня есте пря ыналтэ пентру чел небун: ел ну ва дескиде гура ла жудекатэ.
8 One who plots to do evil will be called a schemer.
Чине се гындеште сэ факэ рэу се кямэ ун ом плин де рэутате.
9 The schemes of folly are sin. The mocker is detested by men.
Гындул челуй небун ну есте декыт пэкат ши батжокориторул есте о скырбэ пентру оамень.
10 If you falter in the time of trouble, your strength is small.
Дакэ слэбешть ын зиуа неказулуй, микэ ыць есте путеря.
11 Rescue those who are being led away to death! Indeed, hold back those who are staggering to the slaughter!
Избэвеште пе чей тырыць ла моарте ши скапэ пе чей че сунт апроапе сэ фие ынжунгияць.
12 If you say, “Behold, we didn’t know this,” doesn’t he who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, doesn’t he know it? Shall he not render to every man according to his work?
Дакэ зичь: „Ах! н-ам штиут…”, крезь кэ ну веде Чел че кынтэреште инимиле ши Чел че вегязэ асупра суфлетулуй тэу? Ши ну ва рэсплэти Ел фиекэруя дупэ фаптеле луй?
13 My son, eat honey, for it is good, the droppings of the honeycomb, which are sweet to your taste;
Фиуле, мэнынкэ мьере, кэч есте бунэ, ши фагуреле де мьере есте дулче пентру черул гурий тале!
14 so you shall know wisdom to be to your soul. If you have found it, then there will be a reward: Your hope will not be cut off.
Тот аша ши ынцелепчуня есте бунэ пентру суфлетул тэу: дакэ о вей гэси, ай ун виитор ши ну ци се ва тэя нэдеждя.
15 Don’t lay in wait, wicked man, against the habitation of the righteous. Don’t destroy his resting place;
Ну ынтинде курсе, нелеӂюитуле, ла локуинца челуй неприхэнит ши ну-й тулбура одихна!
16 for a righteous man falls seven times and rises up again, but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.
Кэч чел неприхэнит де шапте орь каде ши се ридикэ, дар чей рэй се прэбушеск ын ненорочире.
17 Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls. Don’t let your heart be glad when he is overthrown,
Ну те букура де кэдеря врэжмашулуй тэу ши сэ ну ци се веселяскэ инима кынд се потикнеште ел,
18 lest Yahweh see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
ка ну кумва Домнул сэ вадэ, сэ ну-Й плакэ ши сэ-Шь ынтоаркэ мыния де ла ел!
19 Don’t fret yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious of the wicked;
Ну те мыния дин причина челор че фак рэу ши ну пизмуи пе чей рэй!
20 for there will be no reward to the evil man. The lamp of the wicked will be snuffed out.
Кэч чел че фаче рэул н-аре ничун виитор ши лумина челор рэй се стинӂе.
21 My son, fear Yahweh and the king. Don’t join those who are rebellious,
Фиуле, теме-те де Домнул ши де ымпэратул ши сэ ну те аместечь ку чей неастымпэраць!
22 for their calamity will rise suddenly. Who knows what destruction may come from them both?
Кэч деодатэ ле ва вени пеиря. Ши чине поате шти сфыршитул амындурора?
23 These also are sayings of the wise: To show partiality in judgment is not good.
Ятэ че май спун ынцелепций: „Ну есте бине сэ ай ын ведере фаца оаменилор ын жудекэць.”
24 He who says to the wicked, “You are righteous,” peoples will curse him, and nations will abhor him—
Пе чине зиче челуй рэу: „Ту ешть бун!” ыл блестемэ попоареле ши-л урэск нямуриле.
25 but it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and a rich blessing will come on them.
Дар челор че жудекэ дрепт ле мерӂе бине ши о маре бинекувынтаре вине песте ей.
26 An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips.
Ун рэспунс бун есте ка ун сэрут пе бузе.
27 Prepare your work outside, and get your fields ready. Afterwards, build your house.
Везь-ць ынтый де требурь афарэ, ынгрижеште де лукрул кымпулуй, ши апой апукэ-те сэ-ць зидешть каса!
28 Don’t be a witness against your neighbor without cause. Don’t deceive with your lips.
Ну ворби ын кип ушуратик ымпотрива апроапелуй тэу; орь ай вря сэ ыншель ку бузеле тале?
29 Don’t say, “I will do to him as he has done to me; I will repay the man according to his work.”
Ну зиче: „Кум мь-а фэкут ел, аша ам сэ-й фак ши еу, ый вой рэсплэти дупэ фаптеле луй!”
30 I went by the field of the sluggard, by the vineyard of the man void of understanding.
Ам трекут пе лынгэ огорул унуй ленеш ши пе лынгэ вия унуй ом фэрэ минте.
31 Behold, it was all grown over with thorns. Its surface was covered with nettles, and its stone wall was broken down.
Ши ера нумай спинь, акоперит де мэрэчинь, ши зидул де пятрэ ера прэбушит.
32 Then I saw, and considered well. I saw, and received instruction:
М-ам уйтат бине ши ку луаре аминте ши ам трас ынвэцэтурэ дин че ам вэзут.
33 a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep,
„Сэ май дорм пуцин, сэ май аципеск пуцин, сэ май ынкручишез мыниле пуцин, ка сэ мэ одихнеск…”
34 so your poverty will come as a robber and your want as an armed man.
Ши сэрэчия вине песте тине пе неаштептате, ка ун хоц, ши липса, ка ун ом ынармат.
