Philippians 2
1 If therefore there is any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion,
೧ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಂದ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ, ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಸಾಂತ್ವನ, ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನ ಅನ್ಯೋನ್ಯತೆ, ಕಾರುಣ್ಯದಯಾರಸಗಳು ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದಾದರೆ,
2 make my joy full by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;
೨ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ಒಂದೇ ಮನಸ್ಸುವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ, ಒಂದೇ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ, ಅನ್ಯೋನ್ಯಭಾವವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಗುರಿಯಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡವರಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣಮಾಡಿರಿ.
3 doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself;
೩ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥದಿಂದಾಗಲಿ, ಒಣ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡದೆ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ದೀನಭಾವದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ತನಗಿಂತಲೂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲಿ.
4 each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.
೪ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಸ್ವಹಿತವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ನೋಡದೆ ಪರಹಿತವನ್ನು ಸಹ ನೋಡಲಿ.
5 Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus,
೫ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಂಥ ಮನಸ್ಸು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರಲಿ.
6 who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped,
೬ಆತನು ದೇವಸ್ವರೂಪನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸರಿಸಮಾನನಾಗಿರುವನೆಂಬ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಪದವಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲೊಲ್ಲೆನು ಎಂದೆಣಿಸದೆ,
7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.
೭ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಬರಿದು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ದಾಸನ ರೂಪವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸಮನಾದನು. ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.
೮ಆತನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಶಿಲುಬೆಯ ಮರಣವನ್ನಾದರೂ ಹೊಂದುವಷ್ಟು ವಿಧೇಯನಾದನು.
9 Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name,
೯ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ದೇವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಸಿ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹೆಸರುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth,
೧೦ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸ್ವರ್ಗ ಮರ್ತ್ಯ ಪಾತಾಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊಣಕಾಲೂರಿ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು,
11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
೧೧ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡುವುದು.
12 So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
೧೨ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯರೇ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಈಗಲೂ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿರಿ. ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ, ನಾನಿಲ್ಲದಿರುವಾಗಲೂ ಬಹು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಮನೋಭೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನಡುಗುವವರಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
೧೩ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರೇ ತನ್ನ ಸುಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನೂ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
14 Do all things without complaining and arguing,
೧೪ಗೊಣಗುಟ್ಟದೆಯೂ, ವಿವಾದಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆಯೂ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ.
15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world,
೧೫ಹೀಗೆ ನೀವು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದು ವಕ್ರಬುದ್ಧಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಮೂರ್ಖ ಜಾತಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ನಿಷ್ಕಳಂಕರಾದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗಿರುವಿರಿ.
16 holding up the word of life, that I may have something to boast in the day of Christ that I didn’t run in vain nor labor in vain.
೧೬ಇವರೊಳಗೆ ನೀವು ಸರ್ವರಿಗೂ ಜೀವದಾಯಕ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಲೋಕದೊಳಗೆ ಹೊಳೆಯುವ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳಂತೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ. ನೀವು ಹೀಗೆ ನಡೆದರೆ ನಾನು ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಗಾಗಿ ಓಡಿದ ಓಟವು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ಪ್ರಯಾಸಪಟ್ಟದ್ದೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೆಯು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದು.
17 Yes, and if I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.
೧೭ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೆಂಬ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ದೇವರಿಗರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನೇ ಪಾನದ್ರವ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿತವಾಗಬೇಕಾದರೂ ನನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
18 In the same way, you also should be glad and rejoice with me.
೧೮ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀವೂ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿರಿ, ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿರಿ.
19 But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered up when I know how you are doing.
೧೯ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ತಿಮೊಥೆಯನನ್ನು ಬೇಗನೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ನಾನೂ ಆದರಣೆ ಹೊಂದಿದೆನು.
20 For I have no one else like-minded, who will truly care about you.
೨೦ಅವನ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯೋಗಕ್ಷೇಮವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಚಿಂತಿಸುವವರು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
21 For they all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ.
೨೧ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸ್ವಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
22 But you know that he has proved himself. As a child serves a father, so he served with me in furtherance of the Good News.
೨೨ಆದರೆ ತಿಮೊಥೆಯನ ಯೋಗ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಮಗನು ತಂದೆಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುವಾರ್ತಾಪ್ರಚಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿದನೆಂಬುದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತುಂಟು.
23 Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it will go with me.
೨೩ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವು ಹೇಗಾಗುವುದೋ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವನನ್ನೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
24 But I trust in the Lord that I myself also will come shortly.
೨೪ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಸಹ ಬೇಗನೆ ಬರುವೆನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಂಬಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
25 But I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, fellow soldier, and your apostle and servant of my need,
೨೫ನನ್ನ ಕೊರತೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಂಥ, ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನೂ, ಜೊತೆಸೇವಕನೂ, ಸಹಸೇನಾನಿಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವಂಥ ಎಪಫ್ರೊದೀತನನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವುದು ಅವಶ್ಯವೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
26 since he longed for you all, and was very troubled because you had heard that he was sick.
೨೬ಅವನು ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು ಮತ್ತು ತಾನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ನೊಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.
27 For indeed he was sick nearly to death, but God had mercy on him, and not on him only, but on me also, that I might not have sorrow on sorrow.
೨೭ಅವನು ರೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸಾಯುವ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದನೆಂಬುದು ನಿಜವೇ, ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ನನಗೆ ದುಃಖದ ಮೇಲೆ ದುಃಖವು ಬಾರದಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಕರುಣಿಸಿದನು.
28 I have sent him therefore the more diligently, that when you see him again, you may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
೨೮ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ ನನ್ನ ದುಃಖ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅತಿ ತವಕದಿಂದ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
29 Receive him therefore in the Lord with all joy, and hold such people in honor,
೨೯ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ನೀವೇ ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವ ಉಪಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರತೆಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ತುಂಬುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಜೀವದ ಆಸೆಯನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಸೇವೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಸಾಯುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದುದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಅಂಥವರನ್ನು ಮಾನ್ಯರೆಂದೆಣಿಸಿರಿ.
30 because for the work of Christ he came near to death, risking his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.
