Numbers 36
1 The heads of the fathers’ households of the family of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near and spoke before Moses and before the princes, the heads of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel.
Και προσελθόντες οι αρχηγοί των πατριών των συγγενειών των υιών Γαλαάδ, υιού του Μαχείρ, υιού του Μανασσή, εκ των συγγενειών των υιών Ιωσήφ, ελάλησαν ενώπιον του Μωϋσέως και ενώπιον των αρχόντων, οίτινες ήσαν οι αρχηγοί των πατριών των υιών Ισραήλ·
2 They said, “Yahweh commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the children of Israel. My lord was commanded by Yahweh to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.
και είπον, Ο Κύριος προσέταξεν εις τον κύριόν μου να δώση την γην διά κλήρου προς κληρονομίαν εις τους υιούς Ισραήλ, και ο κύριός μου προσετάχθη παρά του Κυρίου να δώση την κληρονομίαν Σαλπαάδ, του αδελφού ημών, εις τας θυγατέρας αυτού·
3 If they are married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of our fathers, and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So it will be taken away from the lot of our inheritance.
και εάν νυμφευθώσι μετά τινός εκ των υιών των φυλών των υιών Ισραήλ, τότε η κληρονομία αυτών θέλει αφαιρεθή εκ της κληρονομίας των πατέρων ημών και θέλει προστεθή εις την κληρονομίαν της φυλής ήτις ήθελε δεχθή αυτάς· ούτω θέλει αφαιρεθή από του κλήρου της κληρονομίας ημών·
4 When the jubilee of the children of Israel comes, then their inheritance will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.”
και όταν έλθη το έτος της αφέσεως των υιών Ισραήλ, τότε η κληρονομία αυτών θέλει προστεθή εις την κληρονομίαν της φυλής, ήτις ήθελε δεχθή αυτάς· και η κληρονομία αυτών θέλει αφαιρεθή από της κληρονομίας της φυλής των πατέρων ημών.
5 Moses commanded the children of Israel according to Yahweh’s word, saying, “The tribe of the sons of Joseph speak what is right.
Και προσέταξεν ο Μωϋσής τους υιούς Ισραήλ, κατά τον λόγον του Κυρίου, λέγων, Η φυλή των υιών Ιωσήφ ελάλησεν ορθώς.
6 This is the thing which Yahweh commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, ‘Let them be married to whom they think best, only they shall marry into the family of the tribe of their father.
Ούτος είναι ο λόγος, τον οποίον προσέταξεν ο Κύριος περί των θυγατέρων του Σαλπαάδ, λέγων, Ας νυμφευθώσι με όντινα αρέσκη εις αυτάς· μόνον θέλουσι νυμφευθή μετά ανδρών εκ της συγγενείας της φυλής των πατέρων αυτών·
7 So shall no inheritance of the children of Israel move from tribe to tribe; for the children of Israel shall all keep the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
και δεν θέλει μεταβαίνει η κληρονομία των υιών Ισραήλ από φυλής εις φυλήν· διότι έκαστος εκ των υιών Ισραήλ θέλει είσθαι προσκεκολλημένος εις την κληρονομίαν της φυλής των πατέρων αυτού.
8 Every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may each possess the inheritance of his fathers.
Και πάσα θυγάτηρ, ήτις έχει κληρονομίαν εν φυλή τινί των υιών Ισραήλ, θέλει είσθαι γυνή ενός εκ της συγγενείας της φυλής του πατρός αυτής· διά να απολαμβάνωσιν οι υιοί Ισραήλ έκαστος την κληρονομίαν των πατέρων αυτού.
9 So shall no inheritance move from one tribe to another tribe; for the tribes of the children of Israel shall each keep his own inheritance.’”
Και δεν θέλει μεταβαίνει η κληρονομία από φυλής εις άλλην φυλήν, αλλ' έκαστος εκ των φυλών των υιών Ισραήλ θέλει είσθαι προσκεκολλημένος εις την κληρονομίαν αυτού.
10 The daughters of Zelophehad did as Yahweh commanded Moses:
Ως προσέταξε Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν, ούτως έκαμον αι θυγατέρες του Σαλπαάδ·
11 for Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to their father’s brothers’ sons.
διότι η Μααλά, η Θερσά και η Αγλά και η Μελχά και η Νουά, αι θυγατέρες του Σαλπαάδ, ενυμφεύθησαν με τους υιούς των αδελφών του πατρός αυτών·
12 They were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph. Their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.
ενυμφεύθησαν με άνδρας εκ των συγγενειών των υιών Μανασσή, υιού του Ιωσήφ· και η κληρονομία αυτών έμεινεν εν τη φυλή της συγγενείας του πατρός αυτών.
13 These are the commandments and the ordinances which Yahweh commanded by Moses to the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
Ταύτα είναι τα προστάγματα και αι κρίσεις, τας οποίας προσέταξεν ο Κύριος διά χειρός του Μωϋσέως προς τους υιούς Ισραήλ, εις τας πεδιάδας Μωάβ παρά τον Ιορδάνην κατέναντι της Ιεριχώ.
