Numbers 10
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo:
2 “Make two trumpets of silver. You shall make them of beaten work. You shall use them for the calling of the congregation and for the journeying of the camps.
Hazte dos trompetas de plata; de obra de martillo las harás, las cuales te servirán para convocar la congregación, y para hacer mover el campo:
3 When they blow them, all the congregation shall gather themselves to you at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
Y cuando las tocaren, toda la congregación se juntará a ti a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio.
4 If they blow just one, then the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves to you.
Mas cuando tocaren la una, entonces se congregarán a ti los príncipes, las cabezas de los millares de Israel.
5 When you blow an alarm, the camps that lie on the east side shall go forward.
Y cuando tocareis júbilo, entonces moverá el campo de los que están alojados al oriente.
6 When you blow an alarm the second time, the camps that lie on the south side shall go forward. They shall blow an alarm for their journeys.
Y cuando tocareis júbilo la segunda vez, entonces moverá el campo de los que están alojados al mediodía: júbilo tocarán a sus partidas.
7 But when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but you shall not sound an alarm.
Empero cuando juntareis la congregación, tocaréis, mas no jubilaréis.
8 “The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. This shall be to you for a statute forever throughout your generations.
Y los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, tocarán las trompetas, y tenerlas heis por estatuto perpetuo por vuestras generaciones.
9 When you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets. Then you will be remembered before Yahweh your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.
Y cuando viniereis a la guerra en vuestra tierra contra el enemigo que os molestare, jubilaréis con las trompetas, y seréis en memoria delante de Jehová vuestro Dios, y seréis salvos de vuestros enemigos.
10 “Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God. I am Yahweh your God.”
Ítem, en el día de vuestra alegría, y en vuestras solemnidades, y en los principios de vuestros meses tocaréis las trompetas sobre vuestros holocaustos, y sobre los sacrificios de vuestras paces, y seros han por memoria delante de vuestro Dios: Yo Jehová vuestro Dios.
11 In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the covenant.
Y fue en el año segundo, en el mes segundo a los veinte del mes, que la nube se alzó del tabernáculo del testimonio.
12 The children of Israel went forward on their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud stayed in the wilderness of Paran.
Y movieron los hijos de Israel por sus partidas del desierto de Sinaí; y paró la nube en el desierto de Farán.
13 They first went forward according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
Y movieron la primera vez al dicho de Jehová por mano de Moisés.
14 First, the standard of the camp of the children of Judah went forward according to their armies. Nahshon the son of Amminadab was over his army.
Y la bandera del campo de los hijos de Judá comenzó a marchar primero por sus escuadrones: y Nahasón, hijo de Aminadab, era sobre su ejército.
15 Nethanel the son of Zuar was over the army of the tribe of the children of Issachar.
Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar era Natanael hijo de Suar.
16 Eliab the son of Helon was over the army of the tribe of the children of Zebulun.
Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, Eliab hijo de Helón.
17 The tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who bore the tabernacle, went forward.
Y el tabernáculo era ya desarmado, y movieron los hijos de Gersón, y los hijos de Merari, que lo llevaban.
18 The standard of the camp of Reuben went forward according to their armies. Elizur the son of Shedeur was over his army.
Luego comenzó a marchar la bandera del campo de Rubén por sus escuadrones: y Elisur, hijo de Sedeur, era sobre su ejército.
19 Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai was over the army of the tribe of the children of Simeon.
Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón era Salamiel hijo de Surisaddai.
20 Eliasaph the son of Deuel was over the army of the tribe of the children of Gad.
Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Gad, Eliasaf hijo de Dehuel.
21 The Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary. The others set up the tabernacle before they arrived.
Luego comenzaron a marchar los Caatitas llevando el santuario: y entre tanto que ellos llegaban asentaron el tabernáculo.
22 The standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies. Elishama the son of Ammihud was over his army.
Después comenzó a marchar la bandera del campo de los hijos de Efraím por sus escuadrones: y Elisama, hijo de Ammiud, era sobre su ejército.
23 Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur was over the army of the tribe of the children of Manasseh.
Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, Gamaliel hijo de Fadassur.
24 Abidan the son of Gideoni was over the army of the tribe of the children of Benjamin.
Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Ben-jamín, Abidam hijo de Gedeón.
25 The standard of the camp of the children of Dan, which was the rear guard of all the camps, set forward according to their armies. Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai was over his army.
Luego comenzó a marchar la bandera del campo de los hijos de Dan por sus escuadrones recogiendo todos los campos: y Ahiezer, hijo de Ammisaddai, era sobre su ejército.
26 Pagiel the son of Ochran was over the army of the tribe of the children of Asher.
Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Aser, Fegiel hijo de Ocrán.
27 Ahira the son of Enan was over the army of the tribe of the children of Naphtali.
Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, Ahira hijo de Enán.
28 Thus were the travels of the children of Israel according to their armies; and they went forward.
Estas son las partidas de los hijos de Israel por sus ejércitos: y así se partieron.
29 Moses said to Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are journeying to the place of which Yahweh said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well; for Yahweh has spoken good concerning Israel.”
Entonces Moisés dijo a Hobab hijo de Raguel Madianita su suegro: Nosotros nos partimos para el lugar del cual Jehová ha dicho: Yo os lo daré. Ven con nosotros, y hacerte hemos bien; porque Jehová ha hablado bien sobre Israel.
30 He said to him, “I will not go; but I will depart to my own land, and to my relatives.”
Y él le respondió: Yo no vendré, antes me iré a mi tierra, y a mi parentela.
31 Moses said, “Don’t leave us, please; because you know how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and you can be our eyes.
Y él le dijo: Ruégote que no nos dejes, porque tú sabes nuestros alojamientos en el desierto, y nos serás en lugar de ojos.
32 It shall be, if you go with us—yes, it shall be—that whatever good Yahweh does to us, we will do the same to you.”
Y será, que si vinieres con nosotros, cuando hubiéremos el bien que Jehová nos ha de hacer, nosotros te haremos bien.
33 They set forward from the Mount of Yahweh three days’ journey. The ark of Yahweh’s covenant went before them three days’ journey, to seek out a resting place for them.
Así partieron del monte de Jehová camino de tres días, y el arca del concierto de Jehová fue delante de ellos camino de tres días buscándoles reposo.
34 The cloud of Yahweh was over them by day, when they set forward from the camp.
Y la nube de Jehová iba sobre ellos de día desde que partieron del campo.
35 When the ark went forward, Moses said, “Rise up, Yahweh, and let your enemies be scattered! Let those who hate you flee before you!”
Y fue, que en moviendo el arca, Moisés decía: Levántate Jehová, y sean disipados tus enemigos, y huyan delante de tu rostro los que te aborrecen.
36 When it rested, he said, “Return, Yahweh, to the ten thousands of the thousands of Israel.”
Y en asentando ella, decía: Vuelve Jehová a los millares de los millares de Israel.
