Micah 6
1 Listen now to what Yahweh says: “Arise, plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear what you have to say.
Oíd ahora lo que dice Jehová: Levántate, pleitéa con los montes, y oigan los collados tu voz.
2 Hear, you mountains, Yahweh’s indictment, and you enduring foundations of the earth; for Yahweh has a case against his people, and he will contend with Israel.
Oíd montes el pleito de Jehová, y fuertes fundamentos de la tierra; porque Jehová tiene pleito con su pueblo, y con Israel altercará.
3 My people, what have I done to you? How have I burdened you? Answer me!
Pueblo mío, ¿qué te he hecho, o en qué te he molestado? Responde contra mí.
4 For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage. I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
Porque te hice subir de la tierra de Egipto, y de la casa de siervos te redimí; y envié delante de ti a Moisés, y a Aarón, y a María.
5 My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab devised, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim to Gilgal, that you may know the righteous acts of Yahweh.”
Pueblo mío, acuérdate ahora qué aconsejó Balac, rey de Moab, y qué le respondió Balaam, hijo de Beor, desde Setim hasta Gálgala; para que conozcas las justicias de Jehová.
6 How shall I come before Yahweh, and bow myself before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
¿Con qué prevendré a Jehová, y adoraré al Dios Alto? ¿Prevenirle he con holocaustos, con becerros de un año?
7 Will Yahweh be pleased with thousands of rams? With tens of thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my disobedience? The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
¿Agradarse ha Jehová de millares de carneros? ¿De diez mil arroyos de aceite? ¿Daré mi primogénito por mi rebelión? ¿el fruto de mi vientre por el pecado de mi alma?
8 He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
O! hombre, declarado te ha qué sea lo bueno, y qué pida de ti Jehová: Solamente hacer juicio, y amar misericordia, y humillarte para andar con tu Dios.
9 Yahweh’s voice calls to the city— and wisdom fears your name— “Listen to the rod, and he who appointed it.
La voz de Jehová clama a la ciudad, y la sabiduría verá tu nombre. Oíd la vara, y a quien la establece.
10 Are there yet treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and a short ephah that is accursed?
¿Hay aun en casa del impío tesoros de impiedad, y medida pequeña detestable?
11 Shall I tolerate dishonest scales, and a bag of deceitful weights?
¿Seré limpio con peso falso, y con bolsa de pesas engañosas?
12 Her rich men are full of violence, her inhabitants speak lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their speech.
Con que sus ricos se hinchieron de rapiña, y sus moradores hablaron mentira, y su lengua engañosa en su boca.
13 Therefore I also have struck you with a grievous wound. I have made you desolate because of your sins.
Así yo también te enflaquecí hiriéndote, asolándote por tus pecados.
14 You shall eat, but not be satisfied. Your hunger will be within you. You will store up, but not save, and that which you save I will give up to the sword.
Tú comerás, y no te hartarás, y tu abatimiento será en medio de ti; y engendrarás, y no parirás; y lo que parirás a la espada daré.
15 You will sow, but won’t reap. You will tread the olives, but won’t anoint yourself with oil; and crush grapes, but won’t drink the wine.
Tú sembrarás, mas no segarás: pisarás olivas, mas no te untarás con el aceite; y mosto, mas no beberás el vino.
16 For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of Ahab’s house. You walk in their counsels, that I may make you a ruin, and your inhabitants a hissing. You will bear the reproach of my people.”
Porque los mandamientos de Amrí se guardaron, y toda obra de la casa de Acab; y en los consejos de ellos anduvisteis, para que yo te diese en asolamiento, y tus moradores para ser silbados: y llevaréis el oprobio de mi pueblo.
