Matthew 5
1 Seeing the multitudes, he went up onto the mountain. When he had sat down, his disciples came to him.
| خوشابحالها و گروهی بسیار دیده، بر فراز کوه آمد و وقتی که او بنشست شاگردانش نزد اوحاضر شدند. | ۱ |
2 He opened his mouth and taught them, saying,
| آنگاه دهان خود را گشوده، ایشان را تعلیم داد و گفت: | ۲ |
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
| «خوشابحال مسکینان در روح، زیرا ملکوت آسمان از آن ایشان است. | ۳ |
4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
| خوشابحال ماتمیان، زیرا ایشان تسلی خواهند یافت. | ۴ |
5 Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.
| خوشابحال حلیمان، زیرا ایشان وارث زمین خواهند شد. | ۵ |
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.
| خوشابحال گرسنگان و تشنگان عدالت، زیراایشان سیر خواهندشد. | ۶ |
7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
| خوشابحال رحم کنندگان، زیرا بر ایشان رحم کرده خواهدشد. | ۷ |
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
| خوشابحال پاک دلان، زیرا ایشان خدا راخواهند دید. | ۸ |
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
| خوشابحال صلح کنندگان، زیراایشان پسران خدا خوانده خواهند شد. | ۹ |
10 Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
| خوشابحال زحمت کشان برای عدالت، زیراملکوت آسمان از آن ایشان است. | ۱۰ |
11 “Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
| خوشحال باشید چون شما را فحش گویند و جفا رسانند، وبخاطر من هر سخن بدی بر شما کاذبانه گویند. | ۱۱ |
12 Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
| خوش باشید و شادی عظیم نمایید، زیرا اجر شما در آسمان عظیم است زیرا که به همینطور بر انبیای قبل از شما جفامی رسانیدند. | ۱۲ |
13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.
| «شما نمک جهانید! لیکن اگر نمک فاسدگردد، به کدام چیز باز نمکین شود؟ دیگر مصرفی ندارد جز آنکه بیرون افکنده، پایمال مردم شود. | ۱۳ |
14 You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.
| شما نور عالمید. شهری که بر کوهی بنا شود، نتوان پنهان کرد. | ۱۴ |
15 Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.
| و چراغ را نمی افروزند تا آن را زیر پیمانه نهند، بلکه تا بر چراغدان گذارند؛ آنگاه به همه کسانی که در خانه باشند، روشنایی می‌بخشد. | ۱۵ |
16 Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
| همچنین بگذارید نور شما بر مردم بتابد تا اعمال نیکوی شما را دیده، پدر شما را که در آسمان است تمجید نمایند. | ۱۶ |
17 “Don’t think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfill.
| «گمان مبرید که آمده‌ام تا تورات یا صحف انبیا را باطل سازم. نیامده‌ام تا باطل نمایم بلکه تاتمام کنم. | ۱۷ |
18 For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished.
| زیرا هر آینه به شما می‌گویم، تاآسمان و زمین زایل نشود، همزه یا نقطه‌ای ازتورات هرگز زایل نخواهد شد تا همه واقع شود. | ۱۸ |
19 Therefore, whoever shall break one of these least commandments and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
| پس هرکه یکی از این احکام کوچکترین رابشکند و به مردم چنین تعلیم دهد، در ملکوت آسمان کمترین شمرده شود. اما هرکه بعمل آورد و تعلیم نماید، او در ملکوت آسمان بزرگ خوانده خواهد شد. | ۱۹ |
20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
| زیرا به شما می‌گویم، تاعدالت شما بر عدالت کاتبان و فریسیان افزون نشود، به ملکوت آسمان هرگز داخل نخواهیدشد. | ۲۰ |
21 “You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not murder;’ and ‘Whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’
| «شنیده‌اید که به اولین گفته شده است “قتل مکن و هرکه قتل کند سزاوار حکم شود.” | ۲۱ |
22 But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna. (Geenna g1067)
| لیکن من به شما می‌گویم، هرکه به برادر خود بی‌سبب خشم گیرد، مستوجب حکم باشد و هرکه برادرخود را راقا گوید، مستوجب قصاص باشد و هرکه احمق گوید، مستحق آتش جهنم بود. (Geenna g1067) | ۲۲ |
23 “If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you,
| پس هرگاه هدیه خود را به قربانگاه ببری و آنجا به‌خاطرت آید که برادرت بر تو حقی دارد، | ۲۳ |
24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
| هدیه خود را پیش قربانگاه واگذار و رفته، اول با برادرخویش صلح نما و بعد آمده، هدیه خود رابگذران. | ۲۴ |
25 Agree with your adversary quickly while you are with him on the way; lest perhaps the prosecutor deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison.
| با مدعی خود مادامی که با وی در راه هستی صلح کن، مبادا مدعی، تو را به قاضی سپارد و قاضی، تو را به داروغه تسلیم کند و در زندان افکنده شوی. | ۲۵ |
26 Most certainly I tell you, you shall by no means get out of there until you have paid the last penny.
| هرآینه به تو می‌گویم، که تا فلس آخر را ادا نکنی، هرگز از آنجا بیرون نخواهی آمد. | ۲۶ |
27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’
| «شنیده‌اید که به اولین گفته شده است “زنامکن.” | ۲۷ |
28 but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
| لیکن من به شما می‌گویم، هر کس به زنی نظر شهوت اندازد، همان دم در دل خود با او زناکرده است. | ۲۸ |
29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna. (Geenna g1067)
| پس اگر چشم راستت تو رابلغزاند، قلعش کن و از خود دور انداز زیرا تو رابهتر آن است که عضوی از اعضایت تباه گردد، ازآنکه تمام بدنت در جهنم افکنده شود. (Geenna g1067) | ۲۹ |
30 If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna. (Geenna g1067)
| و اگردست راستت تو را بلغزاند، قطعش کن و از خوددور انداز، زیرا تو را مفیدتر آن است که عضوی ازاعضای تو نابود شود، از آنکه کل جسدت دردوزخ افکنده شود. (Geenna g1067) | ۳۰ |
31 “It was also said, ‘Whoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorce,’
| «و گفته شده است هرکه از زن خودمفارقت جوید، طلاق نامه‌ای بدو بدهد. | ۳۱ |
32 but I tell you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the cause of sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is put away commits adultery.
| لیکن من به شما می‌گویم، هر کس بغیر علت زنا، زن خود را از خود جدا کند باعث زنا کردن اومی باشد، و هرکه زن مطلقه را نکاح کند، زنا کرده باشد. | ۳۲ |
33 “Again you have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not make false vows, but shall perform to the Lord your vows,’
| «باز شنیده‌اید که به اولین گفته شده است که “قسم دروغ مخور، بلکه قسم های خود را به خداوند وفا کن.” | ۳۳ |
34 but I tell you, don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God;
| لیکن من به شما می‌گویم، هرگز قسم مخورید، نه به آسمان زیرا که عرش خداست، | ۳۴ |
35 nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
| و نه به زمین زیرا که پای انداز اواست، و نه به ارشلیم زیرا که شهر پادشاه عظیم است، | ۳۵ |
36 Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can’t make one hair white or black.
| و نه به‌سر خود قسم یاد کن، زیرا که مویی را سفید یا سیاه نمی توانی کرد. | ۳۶ |
37 But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
| بلکه سخن شما بلی بلی و نی نی باشد زیرا که زیاده براین از شریر است. | ۳۷ |
38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’
| «شنیده‌اید که گفته شده است.”چشمی به چشمی و دندانی به دندانی “ | ۳۸ |
39 But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
| لیکن من به شمامی گویم، با شریر مقاومت مکنید بلکه هرکه بررخساره راست تو طپانچه زند، دیگری را نیز به سوی او بگردان، | ۳۹ |
40 If anyone sues you to take away your coat, let him have your cloak also.
| و اگر کسی خواهد با تو دعواکند و قبای تو را بگیرد، عبای خود را نیز بدوواگذار، | ۴۰ |
41 Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
| و هرگاه کسی تو را برای یک میل مجبور سازد، دو میل همراه او برو. | ۴۱ |
42 Give to him who asks you, and don’t turn away him who desires to borrow from you.
| هر کس ازتو سوال کند، بدو ببخش و از کسی‌که قرض از توخواهد، روی خود را مگردان.» | ۴۲ |
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
| «شنیده‌اید که گفته شده است “همسایه خورا محبت نما و با دشمن خود عداوت کن.” | ۴۳ |
44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
| امامن به شما می‌گویم که دشمنان خود را محبت نمایید و برای لعن کنندگان خود برکت بطلبید و به آنانی که از شما نفرت کنند، احسان کنید و به هرکه به شما فحش دهد و جفا رساند، دعای خیرکنید، | ۴۴ |
45 that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
| تا پدر خود را که در آسمان است پسران شوید، زیرا که آفتاب خود را بر بدان و نیکان طالع می‌سازد و باران بر عادلان و ظالمان می‌باراند. | ۴۵ |
46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?
| زیرا هرگاه آنانی را محبت نمایید که شما رامحبت می‌نمایند، چه اجر دارید؟ آیا باجگیران چنین نمی کنند؟ | ۴۶ |
47 If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?
| و هرگاه برادران خود را فقطسلام گویید چه فضیلت دارید؟ آیا باجگیران چنین نمی کنند؟ | ۴۷ |
48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
| پس شما کامل باشید چنانکه پدر شما که در آسمان است کامل است. | ۴۸ |
