Matthew 19
1 When Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan.
அநந்தரம் ஏதாஸு கதா²ஸு ஸமாப்தாஸு யீஸு² ர்கா³லீலப்ரதே³ஸா²த் ப்ரஸ்தா²ய யர்த³ந்தீரஸ்த²ம்’ யிஹூதா³ப்ரதே³ஸ²ம்’ ப்ராப்த: |
2 Great multitudes followed him, and he healed them there.
ததா³ தத்பஸ்²சாத் ஜநநிவஹே க³தே ஸ தத்ர தாந் நிராமயாந் அகரோத்|
3 Pharisees came to him, testing him and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
தத³நந்தரம்’ பி²ரூஸி²நஸ்தத்ஸமீபமாக³த்ய பாரீக்ஷிதும்’ தம்’ பப்ரச்சு²: , கஸ்மாத³பி காரணாத் நரேண ஸ்வஜாயா பரித்யாஜ்யா ந வா?
4 He answered, “Haven’t you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,
ஸ ப்ரத்யுவாச, ப்ரத²மம் ஈஸ்²வரோ நரத்வேந நாரீத்வேந ச மநுஜாந் ஸஸர்ஜ, தஸ்மாத் கதி²தவாந்,
5 and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh’?
மாநுஷ: ஸ்வபிதரௌ பரித்யஜ்ய ஸ்வபத்ந்யாம் ஆஸக்ஷ்யதே, தௌ த்³வௌ ஜநாவேகாங்கௌ³ ப⁴விஷ்யத: , கிமேதத்³ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்ந படி²தம்?
6 So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.”
அதஸ்தௌ புந ர்ந த்³வௌ தயோரேகாங்க³த்வம்’ ஜாதம்’, ஈஸ்²வரேண யச்ச ஸமயுஜ்யத, மநுஜோ ந தத்³ பி⁴ந்த்³யாத்|
7 They asked him, “Why then did Moses command us to give her a certificate of divorce and divorce her?”
ததா³நீம்’ தே தம்’ ப்ரத்யவத³ந், ததா²த்வே த்யாஜ்யபத்ரம்’ த³த்த்வா ஸ்வாம்’ ஸ்வாம்’ ஜாயாம்’ த்யக்தும்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²ம்’ மூஸா: கத²ம்’ லிலேக²?
8 He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.
தத: ஸ கதி²தவாந், யுஷ்மாகம்’ மநஸாம்’ காடி²ந்யாத்³ யுஷ்மாந் ஸ்வாம்’ ஸ்வாம்’ ஜாயாம்’ த்யக்தும் அந்வமந்யத கிந்து ப்ரத²மாத்³ ஏஷோ விதி⁴ர்நாஸீத்|
9 I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery.”
அதோ யுஷ்மாநஹம்’ வதா³மி, வ்யபி⁴சாரம்’ விநா யோ நிஜஜாயாம்’ த்யஜேத் அந்யாஞ்ச விவஹேத், ஸ பரதா³ராந் க³ச்ச²தி; யஸ்²ச த்யக்தாம்’ நாரீம்’ விவஹதி ஸோபி பரதா³ரேஷு ரமதே|
10 His disciples said to him, “If this is the case of the man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.”
ததா³ தஸ்ய ஸி²ஷ்யாஸ்தம்’ ப³பா⁴ஷிரே, யதி³ ஸ்வஜாயயா ஸாகம்’ பும்’ஸ ஏதாத்³ரு’க் ஸம்ப³ந்தோ⁴ ஜாயதே, தர்ஹி விவஹநமேவ ந ப⁴த்³ரம்’|
11 But he said to them, “Not all men can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.
தத: ஸ உக்தவாந், யேப்⁴யஸ்தத்ஸாமர்த்²யம்’ ஆதா³யி, தாந் விநாந்ய: கோபி மநுஜ ஏதந்மதம்’ க்³ரஹீதும்’ ந ஸ²க்நோதி|
12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven’s sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it.”
கதிபயா ஜநநக்லீப³: கதிபயா நரக்ரு’தக்லீப³: ஸ்வர்க³ராஜ்யாய கதிபயா: ஸ்வக்ரு’தக்லீபா³ஸ்²ச ஸந்தி, யே க்³ரஹீதும்’ ஸ²க்நுவந்தி தே க்³ரு’ஹ்லந்து|
13 Then little children were brought to him that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.
அபரம் யதா² ஸ ஸி²ஸூ²நாம்’ கா³த்ரேஷு ஹஸ்தம்’ த³த்வா ப்ரார்த²யதே, தத³ர்த²ம்’ தத்ஸமீம்’பம்’ ஸி²ஸ²வ ஆநீயந்த, தத ஆநயித்ரு’ந் ஸி²ஷ்யாஸ்திரஸ்க்ரு’தவந்த: |
14 But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”
கிந்து யீஸு²ருவாச, ஸி²ஸ²வோ மத³ந்திகம் ஆக³ச்ச²ந்து, தாந் மா வாரயத, ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸா²ம்’ ஸி²ஸூ²நாமேவ ஸ்வர்க³ராஜ்யம்’|
15 He laid his hands on them, and departed from there.
தத: ஸ தேஷாம்’ கா³த்ரேஷு ஹஸ்தம்’ த³த்வா தஸ்மாத் ஸ்தா²நாத் ப்ரதஸ்தே²|
16 Behold, one came to him and said, “Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
அபரம் ஏக ஆக³த்ய தம்’ பப்ரச்ச², ஹே பரமகு³ரோ, அநந்தாயு: ப்ராப்தும்’ மயா கிம்’ கிம்’ ஸத்கர்ம்ம கர்த்தவ்யம்’? (aiōnios g166)
17 He said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
தத: ஸ உவாச, மாம்’ பரமம்’ குதோ வத³ஸி? விநேஸ்²சரம்’ ந கோபி பரம: , கிந்து யத்³யநந்தாயு: ப்ராப்தும்’ வாஞ்ச²ஸி, தர்ஹ்யாஜ்ஞா: பாலய|
18 He said to him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’
ததா³ ஸ ப்ரு’ஷ்டவாந், கா: கா ஆஜ்ஞா: ? ததோ யீஸு²: கதி²தவாந், நரம்’ மா ஹந்யா: , பரதா³ராந் மா க³ச்சே²: , மா சோரயே: , ம்ரு’ஷாஸாக்ஷ்யம்’ மா த³த்³யா: ,
19 ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”
நிஜபிதரௌ ஸம்’மந்யஸ்வ, ஸ்வஸமீபவாஸிநி ஸ்வவத் ப்ரேம குரு|
20 The young man said to him, “All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”
ஸ யுவா கதி²தவாந், ஆ பா³ல்யாத்³ ஏதா: பாலயாமி, இதா³நீம்’ கிம்’ ந்யூநமாஸ்தே?
21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
ததோ யீஸு²ரவத³த், யதி³ ஸித்³தோ⁴ ப⁴விதும்’ வாஞ்ச²ஸி, தர்ஹி க³த்வா நிஜஸர்வ்வஸ்வம்’ விக்ரீய த³ரித்³ரேப்⁴யோ விதர, தத: ஸ்வர்கே³ வித்தம்’ லப்ஸ்யஸே; ஆக³ச்ச², மத்பஸ்²சாத்³வர்த்தீ ச ப⁴வ|
22 But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.
ஏதாம்’ வாசம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா ஸ யுவா ஸ்வீயப³ஹுஸம்பத்தே ர்விஷண: ஸந் சலிதவாந்|
23 Jesus said to his disciples, “Most certainly I say to you, a rich man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven with difficulty.
ததா³ யீஸு²: ஸ்வஸி²ஷ்யாந் அவத³த், த⁴நிநாம்’ ஸ்வர்க³ராஜ்யப்ரவேஸோ² மஹாது³ஷ்கர இதி யுஷ்மாநஹம்’ தத்²யம்’ வதா³மி|
24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”
புநரபி யுஷ்மாநஹம்’ வதா³மி, த⁴நிநாம்’ ஸ்வர்க³ராஜ்யப்ரவேஸா²த் ஸூசீசி²த்³ரேண மஹாங்க³க³மநம்’ ஸுகரம்’|
25 When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”
இதி வாக்யம்’ நிஸ²ம்ய ஸி²ஷ்யா அதிசமத்க்ரு’த்ய கத²யாமாஸு: ; தர்ஹி கஸ்ய பரித்ராணம்’ ப⁴விதும்’ ஸ²க்நோதி?
26 Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
ததா³ ஸ தாந் த்³ரு’ஷ்த்³வா கத²யாமாஸ, தத் மாநுஷாணாமஸ²க்யம்’ ப⁴வதி, கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸர்வ்வம்’ ஸ²க்யம்|
27 Then Peter answered, “Behold, we have left everything and followed you. What then will we have?”
ததா³ பிதரஸ்தம்’ க³தி³தவாந், பஸ்²ய, வயம்’ ஸர்வ்வம்’ பரித்யஜ்ய ப⁴வத: பஸ்²சாத்³வர்த்திநோ (அ)ப⁴வாம; வயம்’ கிம்’ ப்ராப்ஸ்யாம: ?
28 Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
ததோ யீஸு²: கதி²தவாந், யுஷ்மாநஹம்’ தத்²யம்’ வதா³மி, யூயம்’ மம பஸ்²சாத்³வர்த்திநோ ஜாதா இதி காரணாத் நவீநஸ்ரு’ஷ்டிகாலே யதா³ மநுஜஸுத: ஸ்வீயைஸ்²சர்ய்யஸிம்’ஹாஸந உபவேக்ஷ்யதி, ததா³ யூயமபி த்³வாத³ஸ²ஸிம்’ஹாஸநேஷூபவிஸ்²ய இஸ்ராயேலீயத்³வாத³ஸ²வம்’ஸா²நாம்’ விசாரம்’ கரிஷ்யத²|
29 Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
அந்யச்ச ய: கஸ்²சித் மம நாமகாரணாத் க்³ரு’ஹம்’ வா ப்⁴ராதரம்’ வா ப⁴கி³நீம்’ வா பிதரம்’ வா மாதரம்’ வா ஜாயாம்’ வா பா³லகம்’ வா பூ⁴மிம்’ பரித்யஜதி, ஸ தேஷாம்’ ஸ²தகு³ணம்’ லப்ஸ்யதே, அநந்தாயுமோ(அ)தி⁴காரித்வஞ்ச ப்ராப்ஸ்யதி| (aiōnios g166)
30 But many will be last who are first, and first who are last.
கிந்து அக்³ரீயா அநேகே ஜநா: பஸ்²சாத், பஸ்²சாதீயாஸ்²சாநேகே லோகா அக்³ரே ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி|
