Mark 15
1 Immediately in the morning the chief priests, with the elders, scribes, and the whole council, held a consultation, bound Jesus, carried him away, and delivered him up to Pilate.
අථ ප්‍රභාතේ සති ප්‍රධානයාජකාඃ ප්‍රාඤ්ච උපාධ්‍යායාඃ සර්ව්වේ මන්ත්‍රිණශ්ච සභාං කෘත්වා යීශුං බන්ධයිත්ව පීලාතාඛ්‍යස්‍ය දේශාධිපතේඃ සවිධං නීත්වා සමර්පයාමාසුඃ|
2 Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” He answered, “So you say.”
තදා පීලාතස්තං පෘෂ්ටවාන් ත්වං කිං යිහූදීයලෝකානාං රාජා? තතඃ ස ප්‍රත්‍යුක්තවාන් සත්‍යං වදසි|
3 The chief priests accused him of many things.
අපරං ප්‍රධානයාජකාස්තස්‍ය බහුෂු වාක්‍යේෂු දෝෂමාරෝපයාඤ්චක්‍රුඃ කින්තු ස කිමපි න ප්‍රත්‍යුවාච|
4 Pilate again asked him, “Have you no answer? See how many things they testify against you!”
තදානීං පීලාතස්තං පුනඃ පප්‍රච්ඡ ත්වං කිං නෝත්තරයසි? පශ්‍යෛතේ ත්වද්විරුද්ධං කතිෂු සාධ්‍යේෂු සාක්‍ෂං දදති|
5 But Jesus made no further answer, so that Pilate marveled.
කන්තු යීශුස්තදාපි නෝත්තරං දදෞ තතඃ පීලාත ආශ්චර‍්‍ය්‍යං ජගාම|
6 Now at the feast he used to release to them one prisoner, whomever they asked of him.
අපරඤ්ච කාරාබද්ධේ කස්තිංශ්චිත් ජනේ තන්මහෝත්සවකාලේ ලෝකෛ ර‍්‍යාචිතේ දේශාධිපතිස්තං මෝචයති|
7 There was one called Barabbas, bound with his fellow insurgents, men who in the insurrection had committed murder.
යේ ච පූර්ව්වමුපප්ලවමකාර්ෂුරුපප්ලවේ වධමපි කෘතවන්තස්තේෂාං මධ්‍යේ තදානෝං බරබ්බානාමක ඒකෝ බද්ධ ආසීත්|
8 The multitude, crying aloud, began to ask him to do as he always did for them.
අතෝ හේතෝඃ පූර්ව්වාපරීයාං රීතිකථාං කථයිත්වා ලෝකා උච්චෛරුවන්තඃ පීලාතස්‍ය සමක්‍ෂං නිවේදයාමාසුඃ|
9 Pilate answered them, saying, “Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”
තදා පීලාතස්තානාචඛ්‍යෞ තර්හි කිං යිහූදීයානාං රාජානං මෝචයිෂ්‍යාමි? යුෂ්මාභිඃ කිමිෂ්‍යතේ?
10 For he perceived that for envy the chief priests had delivered him up.
යතඃ ප්‍රධානයාජකා ඊර්ෂ්‍යාත ඒව යීශුං සමාර්පයන්නිති ස විවේද|
11 But the chief priests stirred up the multitude, that he should release Barabbas to them instead.
කින්තු යථා බරබ්බාං මෝචයති තථා ප්‍රාර්ථයිතුං ප්‍රධානයාජකා ලෝකාන් ප්‍රවර්ත්තයාමාසුඃ|
12 Pilate again asked them, “What then should I do to him whom you call the King of the Jews?”
අථ පීලාතඃ පුනඃ පෘෂ්ටවාන් තර්හි යං යිහූදීයානාං රාජේති වදථ තස්‍ය කිං කරිෂ්‍යාමි යුෂ්මාභිඃ කිමිෂ්‍යතේ?
13 They cried out again, “Crucify him!”
තදා තේ පුනරපි ප්‍රෝච්චෛඃ ප්‍රෝචුස්තං ක්‍රුශේ වේධය|
14 Pilate said to them, “Why, what evil has he done?” But they cried out exceedingly, “Crucify him!”
තස්මාත් පීලාතඃ කථිතවාන් කුතඃ? ස කිං කුකර්ම්ම කෘතවාන්? කින්තු තේ පුනශ්ච රුවන්තෝ ව්‍යාජහ්‍රුස්තං ක්‍රුශේ වේධය|
15 Pilate, wishing to please the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and handed over Jesus, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.
තදා පීලාතඃ සර්ව්වාල්ලෝකාන් තෝෂයිතුමිච්ඡන් බරබ්බාං මෝචයිත්වා යීශුං කශාභිඃ ප්‍රහෘත්‍ය ක්‍රුශේ වේද්ධුං තං සමර්පයාම්බභූව|
16 The soldiers led him away within the court, which is the Praetorium; and they called together the whole cohort.
අනන්තරං සෛන්‍යගණෝ(අ)ට්ටාලිකාම් අර්ථාද් අධිපතේ ර්ගෘහං යීශුං නීත්වා සේනානිවහං සමාහුයත්|
17 They clothed him with purple; and weaving a crown of thorns, they put it on him.
පශ්චාත් තේ තං ධූමලවර්ණවස්ත්‍රං පරිධාප්‍ය කණ්ටකමුකුටං රචයිත්වා ශිරසි සමාරෝප්‍ය
18 They began to salute him, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
හේ යිහූදීයානාං රාජන් නමස්කාර ඉත්‍යුක්ත්වා තං නමස්කර්ත්තාමාරේභිරේ|
19 They struck his head with a reed and spat on him, and bowing their knees, did homage to him.
තස්‍යෝත්තමාඞ්ගේ වේත්‍රාඝාතං චක්‍රුස්තද්ගාත්‍රේ නිෂ්ඨීවඤ්ච නිචික්‍ෂිපුඃ, තථා තස්‍ය සම්මුඛේ ජානුපාතං ප්‍රණෝමුඃ
20 When they had mocked him, they took the purple cloak off him, and put his own garments on him. They led him out to crucify him.
ඉත්ථමුපහස්‍ය ධූම්‍රවර්ණවස්ත්‍රම් උත්තාර‍්‍ය්‍ය තස්‍ය වස්ත්‍රං තං පර‍්‍ය්‍යධාපයන් ක්‍රුශේ වේද්ධුං බහිර්නින්‍යුශ්ච|
21 They compelled one passing by, coming from the country, Simon of Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to go with them that he might bear his cross.
තතඃ පරං සේකන්දරස්‍ය රුඵස්‍ය ච පිතා ශිමෝන්නාමා කුරීණීයලෝක ඒකඃ කුතශ්චිද් ග්‍රාමාදේත්‍ය පථි යාති තං තේ යීශෝඃ ක්‍රුශං වෝඪුං බලාද් දධ්නුඃ|
22 They brought him to the place called Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, “The place of a skull.”
අථ ගුල්ගල්තා අර්ථාත් ශිරඃකපාලනාමකං ස්ථානං යීශුමානීය
23 They offered him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but he didn’t take it.
තේ ගන්ධරසමිශ්‍රිතං ද්‍රාක්‍ෂාරසං පාතුං තස්මෛ දදුඃ කින්තු ස න ජග්‍රාහ|
24 Crucifying him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots on them, what each should take.
තස්මින් ක්‍රුශේ විද්ධේ සති තේෂාමේකෛකශඃ කිං ප්‍රාප්ස්‍යතීති නිර්ණයාය
25 It was the third hour when they crucified him.
තස්‍ය පරිධේයානාං විභාගාර්ථං ගුටිකාපාතං චක්‍රුඃ|
26 The superscription of his accusation was written over him: “THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
අපරම් ඒෂ යිහූදීයානාං රාජේති ලිඛිතං දෝෂපත්‍රං තස්‍ය ශිරඌර්ද්ව්වම් ආරෝපයාඤ්චක්‍රුඃ|
27 With him they crucified two robbers, one on his right hand, and one on his left.
තස්‍ය වාමදක්‍ෂිණයෝ ර්ද්වෞ චෞරෞ ක්‍රුශයෝ ර්විවිධාතේ|
28 The Scripture was fulfilled which says, “He was counted with transgressors.”
තේනෛව "අපරාධිජනෛඃ සාර්ද්ධං ස ගණිතෝ භවිෂ්‍යති," ඉති ශාස්ත්‍රෝක්තං වචනං සිද්ධමභූත|
29 Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads and saying, “Ha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days,
අනන්තරං මාර්ගේ යේ යේ ලෝකා ගමනාගමනේ චක්‍රුස්තේ සර්ව්ව ඒව ශිරාංස්‍යාන්දෝල්‍ය නින්දන්තෝ ජගදුඃ, රේ මන්දිරනාශක රේ දිනත්‍රයමධ්‍යේ තන්නිර්ම්මායක,
30 save yourself, and come down from the cross!”
අධුනාත්මානම් අවිත්වා ක්‍රුශාදවරෝහ|
31 Likewise, also the chief priests mocking among themselves with the scribes said, “He saved others. He can’t save himself.
කිඤ්ච ප්‍රධානයාජකා අධ්‍යාපකාශ්ච තද්වත් තිරස්කෘත්‍ය පරස්පරං චචක්‍ෂිරේ ඒෂ පරානාවත් කින්තු ස්වමවිතුං න ශක්නෝති|
32 Let the Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe him.” Those who were crucified with him also insulted him.
යදීස්‍රායේලෝ රාජාභිෂික්තස්ත්‍රාතා භවති තර්හ්‍යධුනෛන ක්‍රුශාදවරෝහතු වයං තද් දෘෂ්ට්වා විශ්වසිෂ්‍යාමඃ; කිඤ්ච යෞ ලෝකෞ තේන සාර්ද්ධං ක්‍රුශේ (අ)විධ්‍යේතාං තාවපි තං නිර්භර්ත්සයාමාසතුඃ|
33 When the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
අථ ද්විතීයයාමාත් තෘතීයයාමං යාවත් සර්ව්වෝ දේශඃ සාන්ධකාරෝභූත්|
34 At the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is, being interpreted, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
තතස්තෘතීයප්‍රහරේ යීශුරුච්චෛරවදත් ඒලී ඒලී ලාමා ශිවක්තනී අර්ථාද් "හේ මදීශ මදීශ ත්වං පර‍්‍ය්‍යත්‍යාක්‍ෂීඃ කුතෝ හි මාං?"
35 Some of those who stood by, when they heard it, said, “Behold, he is calling Elijah.”
තදා සමීපස්ථලෝකානාං කේචිත් තද්වාක්‍යං නිශම්‍යාචඛ්‍යුඃ පශ්‍යෛෂ ඒලියම් ආහූයති|
36 One ran, and filling a sponge full of vinegar, put it on a reed and gave it to him to drink, saying, “Let him be. Let’s see whether Elijah comes to take him down.”
තත ඒකෝ ජනෝ ධාවිත්වාගත්‍ය ස්පඤ්ජේ (අ)ම්ලරසං පූරයිත්වා තං නඩාග්‍රේ නිධාය පාතුං තස්මෛ දත්ත්වාවදත් තිෂ්ඨ ඒලිය ඒනමවරෝහයිතුම් ඒති න වේති පශ්‍යාමි|
37 Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and gave up the spirit.
අථ යීශුරුච්චෛඃ සමාහූය ප්‍රාණාන් ජහෞ|
38 The veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom.
තදා මන්දිරස්‍ය ජවනිකෝර්ද්ව්වාදධඃර‍්‍ය්‍යන්තා විදීර්ණා ද්විඛණ්ඩාභූත්|
39 When the centurion, who stood by opposite him, saw that he cried out like this and breathed his last, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!”
කිඤ්ච ඉත්ථමුච්චෛරාහූය ප්‍රාණාන් ත්‍යජන්තං තං දෘෂ්ද්වා තද්‍රක්‍ෂණාය නියුක්තෝ යඃ සේනාපතිරාසීත් සෝවදත් නරෝයම් ඊශ්වරපුත්‍ර ඉති සත්‍යම්|
40 There were also women watching from afar, among whom were both Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
තදානීං මග්දලීනී මරිසම් කනිෂ්ඨයාකූබෝ යෝසේශ්ච මාතාන්‍යමරියම් ශාලෝමී ච යාඃ ස්ත්‍රියෝ
41 who, when he was in Galilee, followed him and served him; and many other women who came up with him to Jerusalem.
ගාලීල්ප්‍රදේශේ යීශුං සේවිත්වා තදනුගාමින්‍යෝ ජාතා ඉමාස්තදන්‍යාශ්ච යා අනේකා නාර‍්‍යෝ යීශුනා සාර්ද්ධං යිරූශාලමමායාතාස්තාශ්ච දූරාත් තානි දදෘශුඃ|
42 When evening had now come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath,
අථාසාදනදිනස්‍යාර්ථාද් විශ්‍රාමවාරාත් පූර්ව්වදිනස්‍ය සායංකාල ආගත
43 Joseph of Arimathaea, a prominent council member who also himself was looking for God’s Kingdom, came. He boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for Jesus’ body.
ඊශ්වරරාජ්‍යාපේක්‍ෂ්‍යරිමථීයයූෂඵනාමා මාන්‍යමන්ත්‍රී සමේත්‍ය පීලාතසවිධං නිර්භයෝ ගත්වා යීශෝර්දේහං යයාචේ|
44 Pilate was surprised to hear that he was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead long.
කින්තු ස ඉදානීං මෘතඃ පීලාත ඉත්‍යසම්භවං මත්වා ශතසේනාපතිමාහූය ස කදා මෘත ඉති පප්‍රච්ඡ|
45 When he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
ශතසේමනාපතිමුඛාත් තජ්ඥාත්වා යූෂඵේ යීශෝර්දේහං දදෞ|
46 He bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth and laid him in a tomb which had been cut out of a rock. He rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.
පශ්චාත් ස සූක්‍ෂ්මං වාසඃ ක්‍රීත්වා යීශෝඃ කායමවරෝහ්‍ය තේන වාසසා වේෂ්ටායිත්වා ගිරෞ ඛාතශ්මශානේ ස්ථාපිතවාන් පාෂාණං ලෝඨයිත්වා ද්වාරි නිදධේ|
47 Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses, saw where he was laid.
කින්තු යත්‍ර සෝස්ථාප්‍යත තත මග්දලීනී මරියම් යෝසිමාතෘමරියම් ච දදෘශතෘඃ|
