Mark 12
1 He began to speak to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a pit for the wine press, built a tower, rented it out to a farmer, and went into another country.
௧பின்பு இயேசு உவமைகளாக அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னது: ஒரு மனிதன் ஒரு திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்தை உண்டாக்கி, அதைச் சுற்றிலும் வேலி அடைத்து, திராட்சை ஆலையை உண்டுபண்ணி, கோபுரத்தையும் கட்டி, தோட்டக்காரர்களுக்கு அதைக் குத்தகைக்கு விட்டு, வேறு தேசத்திற்குச் சென்றிருந்தான்.
2 When it was time, he sent a servant to the farmer to get from the farmer his share of the fruit of the vineyard.
௨தோட்டக்காரர்களிடம் திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்துக் கனிகளில் தன் பங்கை வாங்கிக்கொண்டுவரும்படி, பருவகாலத்திலே அவர்களிடம் ஒரு வேலைக்காரனை அனுப்பினான்.
3 They took him, beat him, and sent him away empty.
௩அவர்கள் அவனைப் பிடித்து, அடித்து, வெறுமையாக அனுப்பிவிட்டார்கள்.
4 Again, he sent another servant to them; and they threw stones at him, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated.
௪பின்பு வேறொரு வேலைக்காரனை அவர்களிடம் அனுப்பினான்; அவர்கள் அவனைக் கல்லால் அடித்து, தலையைக் காயப்படுத்தி, அவமானப்படுத்தி, அனுப்பிவிட்டார்கள்.
5 Again he sent another, and they killed him, and many others, beating some, and killing some.
௫மீண்டும் வேறொருவனை அனுப்பினான்; அவனை அவர்கள் கொலைசெய்தார்கள். வேறு அநேகரையும் அனுப்பினான்; அவர்களில் சிலரை அடித்து, சிலரைக் கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள்.
6 Therefore still having one, his beloved son, he sent him last to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’
௬அவனுக்குப் பிரியமான ஒரே குமாரன் இருந்தான்; என் குமாரனை மதிப்பார்கள் என்று சொல்லி, அவனையும் கடைசியிலே அவர்களிடம் அனுப்பினான்.
7 But those farmers said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’
௭தோட்டக்காரர்களோ: இவனே சொத்திற்கு வாரிசு, இவனைக் கொலைசெய்வோம் வாருங்கள்; அப்பொழுது சொத்து நம்முடையதாகும் என்று ஒருவரோடொருவர் சொல்லிக்கொண்டு;
8 They took him, killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
௮அவனைப் பிடித்துக் கொலைசெய்து, திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்திற்குப் வெளியே எறிந்துவிட்டார்கள்.
9 What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.
௯அப்படியிருக்க, திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்திற்கு எஜமான் என்ன செய்வான்? அவன் வந்து அந்தத் தோட்டக்காரர்களைக் கொன்று, திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்தை மற்றவர்களுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பான் அல்லவா?
10 Haven’t you even read this Scripture: ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the head of the corner.
௧0வீடுகட்டுகிறவர்கள் வேண்டாம் என்று ஒதுக்கிய கல்லே மூலைக்குத் தலைக்கல்லானது;
11 This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes’?”
௧௧அது கர்த்தராலே நடந்தது, அது நம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு ஆச்சரியமாக இருக்கிறது என்று எழுதியிருக்கிற வாக்கியத்தை நீங்கள் வாசிக்கவில்லையா!” என்றார்.
12 They tried to seize him, but they feared the multitude; for they perceived that he spoke the parable against them. They left him and went away.
௧௨இந்த உவமையைத் தங்களைக்குறித்துச் சொன்னார் என்று அவர்கள் அறிந்து, அவரைக் கைது செய்ய முயற்சிசெய்தார்கள்; ஆனாலும் மக்களுக்குப் பயந்து, அவரைவிட்டுப் போய்விட்டார்கள்.
13 They sent some of the Pharisees and the Herodians to him, that they might trap him with words.
௧௩அவர்கள், இயேசுவை அவரது பேச்சிலே சிக்கவைக்கும்படி, பரிசேயர்களிலும் ஏரோதியர்களிலும் சிலரை அவரிடம் அனுப்பினார்கள்.
14 When they had come, they asked him, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and don’t defer to anyone; for you aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?
௧௪அவர்கள் வந்து: போதகரே, நீர் சத்தியமுள்ளவர் என்றும், எவனைக்குறித்தும் உமக்குக் கவலையில்லை என்றும் அறிந்திருக்கிறோம், நீர் முகதாட்சிணியம் இல்லாதவராக தேவனுடைய வழிகளைச் சத்தியமாகப் போதிக்கிறீர், இராயனுக்கு வரிகொடுக்கிறது நியாயமோ, இல்லையோ? நாம் வரி கொடுக்கலாமா, வேண்டாமா? என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
15 Shall we give, or shall we not give?” But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, “Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.”
௧௫அவர்களுடைய தந்திரத்தை அவர் அறிந்து: நீங்கள் என்னை ஏன் சோதிக்கிறீர்கள்? நான் பார்ப்பதற்கு ஒரு பணத்தை என்னிடம் கொண்டுவாருங்கள் என்றார்.
16 They brought it. He said to them, “Whose is this image and inscription?” They said to him, “Caesar’s.”
௧௬அவர்கள் அதைக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள். அப்பொழுது அவர்: இந்தப் படமும் மேலே உள்ள எழுத்தும் யாருடையது என்று கேட்டார்; ரோம அரசாங்கத்திற்கு உரியது என்றார்கள்.
17 Jesus answered them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” They marveled greatly at him.
௧௭அதற்கு இயேசு: அரசாங்கத்திற்குரியதை அரசாங்கத்திற்கும், தேவனுக்குரியதை தேவனுக்கும் செலுத்துங்கள் என்றார். அவர்கள் அவரைக்குறித்து ஆச்சரியப்பட்டார்கள்.
18 Some Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, came to him. They asked him, saying,
௧௮உயிர்த்தெழுதல் இல்லை என்று சாதிக்கிற சதுசேயர்கள் அவரிடம் வந்து:
19 “Teacher, Moses wrote to us, ‘If a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife behind him, and leaves no children, that his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.’
௧௯போதகரே, ஒருவனுடைய சகோதரன் வாரிசு இல்லாமல் தன் மனைவியைவிட்டு மரித்துப்போனால், அவனுடைய சகோதரன் அவன் மனைவியை திருமணம்செய்து, தன் சகோதரனுக்காக வாரிசை உண்டாக்கவேண்டும் என்று மோசே எங்களுக்கு எழுதிவைத்திருக்கிறாரே.
20 There were seven brothers. The first took a wife, and dying left no offspring.
௨0இப்படியிருக்க, ஏழு சகோதரர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்; மூத்தவன் ஒரு பெண்ணைத் திருமணம்செய்து, குழந்தை இல்லாமல் மரித்துப்போனான்.
21 The second took her, and died, leaving no children behind him. The third likewise;
௨௧இரண்டாம் சகோதரன் அவளை திருமணம்செய்து, அவனும் குழந்தை இல்லாமல் மரித்துப்போனான். மூன்றாம் சகோதரனுக்கும் அப்படியே நடந்தது.
22 and the seven took her and left no children. Last of all the woman also died.
௨௨ஏழுபேரும் அவளைத் திருமணம்செய்து, குழந்தை இல்லாமல் மரித்துப்போனார்கள். எல்லோருக்கும்பின்பு அந்தப் பெண்ணும் மரித்துப்போனாள்.
23 In the resurrection, when they rise, whose wife will she be of them? For the seven had her as a wife.”
௨௩எனவே, உயிர்த்தெழுதலில், அவர்கள் எழுந்திருக்கும்போது, அவர்களில் யாருக்கு அவள் மனைவியாக இருப்பாள்? ஏழுபேரும் அவளைத் திருமணம் செய்திருந்தார்களே என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
24 Jesus answered them, “Isn’t this because you are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God?
௨௪இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு மறுமொழியாக: நீங்கள் வேதவாக்கியங்களையும், தேவனுடைய வல்லமையையும் அறியாததினாலே தவறான எண்ணங்கொள்ளுகிறீர்கள்.
25 For when they will rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
௨௫மரித்தவர்கள் உயிரோடு எழுந்திருக்கும்போது திருமணம் செய்வதும், திருமணம்செய்து கொடுப்பதும் இல்லை. அவர்கள் பரலோகத்தில் தேவதூதர்களைப்போல இருப்பார்கள்.
26 But about the dead, that they are raised, haven’t you read in the book of Moses about the Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?
௨௬மரித்தவர்கள் உயிரோடு எழுந்திருப்பதைப்பற்றி: நான் ஆபிரகாமின் தேவனும், ஈசாக்கின் தேவனும், யாக்கோபின் தேவனுமாக இருக்கிறேன் என்று, தேவன் முள்செடியைக்குறித்துச் சொல்லிய இடத்தில், மோசேயின் புத்தகத்தில் அவனுக்குச் சொன்னதை நீங்கள் வாசிக்கவில்லையா?
27 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are therefore badly mistaken.”
௨௭அவர் மரித்தவர்களுக்கு தேவனாக இல்லாமல், ஜீவனுள்ளவர்களுக்கு தேவனாக இருக்கிறார்; அதை நீங்கள் தவறாக புரிந்துகொள்ளுகிறீர்கள் என்றார்.
28 One of the scribes came and heard them questioning together, and knowing that he had answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the greatest of all?”
௨௮வேதபண்டிதர்களில் ஒருவன் அவர்கள் வாக்குவாதம்பண்ணுகிறதைக்கேட்டு, அவர்களுக்கு நன்றாக பதில் சொன்னார் என்று அறிந்து, அவரிடம் வந்து: கட்டளைகளிலெல்லாம் பிரதான கட்டளை எது என்று கேட்டான்.
29 Jesus answered, “The greatest is: ‘Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
௨௯இயேசு அவனுக்கு மறுமொழியாக: கட்டளைகளிலெல்லாம் பிரதான கட்டளை எதுவென்றால்: இஸ்ரவேலே கேள், நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் ஒருவரே கர்த்தர்.
30 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
௩0உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடம் உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும், உன் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும், உன் முழு மனதோடும், உன் முழு பலத்தோடும் அன்புசெலுத்துவாயாக என்பதே பிரதான கட்டளை.
31 The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
௩௧இதற்கு ஒப்பாக இருக்கிற இரண்டாம் கட்டளை என்னவென்றால்: உன்னிடத்தில் நீ அன்புசெலுத்துவதுபோல மற்றவனிடத்திலும் அன்புசெலுத்துவாயாக என்பதே; இவைகளைவிட பெரிய கட்டளை வேறொன்றும் இல்லை என்றார்.
32 The scribe said to him, “Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he;
௩௨அதற்கு வேதபண்டிதன்: சரிதான் போதகரே, நீர் சொன்னது சத்தியம்; ஒரே தேவன் உண்டு, அவரைத்தவிர வேறொரு தேவன் இல்லை.
33 and to love him with all the heart, with all the understanding, all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
௩௩முழு இருதயத்தோடும், முழு மனதோடும், முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும், முழுப் பலத்தோடும் அவரிடத்தில் அன்பு செலுத்துகிறதும், தன்னிடத்தில் அன்பு செலுத்துகிறதுபோல மற்றவனிடத்தில் அன்பு செலுத்துகிறதுதான் தகனபலிகளையும் மற்ற எல்லா பலிகளையும்விட முக்கியமாக இருக்கிறது என்றான்.
34 When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from God’s Kingdom.” No one dared ask him any question after that.
௩௪அவன் ஞானமாக பதில் சொன்னதை இயேசு பார்த்து: நீ தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்திற்குத் தூரமானவன் இல்லை என்றார். அதன்பின்பு ஒருவரும் அவரிடம் எந்தக் கேள்வியும் கேட்கத் துணியவில்லை.
35 Jesus responded, as he taught in the temple, “How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?
௩௫இயேசு தேவாலயத்தில் உபதேசம்பண்ணும்போது, அவர்: கிறிஸ்து தாவீதின் குமாரன் என்று வேதபண்டிதர்கள் எப்படிச் சொல்லுகிறார்கள்?
36 For David himself said in the Holy Spirit, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.”’
௩௬நான் உம்முடைய எதிரிகளை உம்முடைய கால்களுக்குக் கீழே போடும்வரைக்கும் நீர் என்னுடைய வலதுபக்கத்தில் உட்காரும் என்று கர்த்தர் என் ஆண்டவரோடு சொன்னார் என்று தாவீது பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவராலே சொல்லியிருக்கிறானே.
37 Therefore David himself calls him Lord, so how can he be his son?” The common people heard him gladly.
௩௭தாவீதே, அவரை ஆண்டவர் என்று சொல்லியிருக்கும்போது, அவனுக்கு அவர் குமாரனாக இருப்பது எப்படி என்றார். அநேக மக்கள் அவருடைய உபதேசத்தை விருப்பத்தோடு கேட்டார்கள்.
38 In his teaching he said to them, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and to get greetings in the marketplaces,
௩௮இயேசு உபதேசம்பண்ணும்போது அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: வேதபண்டிதர்கள் நீண்ட அங்கிகளை அணிந்துகொண்டு திரியவும், சந்தைவெளிகளில் வாழ்த்துக்களை விரும்பியும்,
39 and to get the best seats in the synagogues and the best places at feasts,
௩௯ஜெப ஆலயங்களில் முதன்மையான இருக்கைகளில் உட்காரவும், விருந்துகளில் முதன்மையான இடங்களில் இருக்கவும் விரும்பி,
40 those who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”
௪0விதவைகளின் வீடுகளையும், சொத்துக்களையும் ஏமாற்றி, பார்வைக்கு நீண்ட ஜெபம்பண்ணுகிற வேதபண்டிதர்களைக்குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள்; அவர்கள் அதிகத் தண்டனை அடைவார்கள் என்றார்.
41 Jesus sat down opposite the treasury and saw how the multitude cast money into the treasury. Many who were rich cast in much.
௪௧இயேசு காணிக்கைப்பெட்டிக்கு எதிராக உட்கார்ந்து, மக்கள் காணிக்கைப் பெட்டியில் பணம் போடுகிறதைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்; செல்வந்தர்கள் அநேகர் அதிகமாகப் போட்டார்கள்.
42 A poor widow came and she cast in two small brass coins, which equal a quadrans coin.
௪௨ஏழையான ஒரு விதவையும் வந்து, ஒரு நாணய மதிப்பிற்கு சரியான இரண்டு காசுகளைப் போட்டாள்.
43 He called his disciples to himself and said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, this poor widow gave more than all those who are giving into the treasury,
௪௩அப்பொழுது அவர் தம்முடைய சீடர்களை அழைத்து, காணிக்கைப் பெட்டியில் பணம் போட்ட மற்ற எல்லோரையும்விட இந்த ஏழை விதவை அதிகமாகப் போட்டாள் என்று உண்மையாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்;
44 for they all gave out of their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, gave all that she had to live on.”
௪௪அவர்களெல்லோரும் தங்களுடைய பரிபூரணத்திலிருந்து எடுத்துப்போட்டார்கள்; இவளோ தன் வறுமையிலிருந்து தான் வாழ்வதற்காக வைத்திருந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் போட்டுவிட்டாள் என்றார்.
