< Luke 23 >

1 The whole company of them rose up and brought him before Pilate.
तैखन तैना सब तैट्ठां उठे ते यीशुए पिलातुसे कां घिन्तां जे।
2 They began to accuse him, saying, “We found this man perverting the nation, forbidding paying taxes to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ, a king.”
ते तैस जो एन ज़ोइतां ए इलज़ाम लांने लगे, “कि ए इश्शे लोकन भड़काते ते महाराज़े जो धड़त देनेरे लेइ ठाकते, ते अपने आपे जो मसीह राज़ो ज़ोते।”
3 Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” He answered him, “So you say.”
तैखन पिलातुसे यीशुए पुच़्छ़ू, “तू यहूदी केरो राज़ोस?” यीशु तैस जुवाब दित्तो, “तू एप्पू ज़ोतस!”
4 Pilate said to the chief priests and the multitudes, “I find no basis for a charge against this man.”
पिलातुसे प्रधान याजकन ते लोकन सेइं ज़ोवं, “कि अवं एस मैन्हु मां कोई कसूर न लेई।”
5 But they insisted, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place.”
पन तैना बड़े घमण्डे सेइं ज़ोने लगे, “ए यहूदियारे इलाके करां गलील इलाके तगर बल्के इड़ी तगर लोकन अपनि शिक्षाई सेइं भड़काते।”
6 But when Pilate heard Galilee mentioned, he asked if the man was a Galilean.
ज़ैखन पिलातुसे एन शुनू त तैनी पुच़्छ़ू, “कुन ए मैन्हु भी गलील इलाकेरो आए।”
7 When he found out that he was in Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem during those days.
ते ज़ेरो तैस पतो लगो, कि ए हेरोदेसेरे इलाकेरो रानेबालोए, त पिलातुसे तै हेरोदेस कांजो भेज़ो। किजोकि तैस वक्ते मां तै एप्पू भी यरूशलेम नगरे मां थियो।
8 Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad, for he had wanted to see him for a long time, because he had heard many things about him. He hoped to see some miracle done by him.
ज़ैखन हेरोदेसे यीशु लाव त बड़ो खुशी भोव। किजोकि तैस च़रोक्नी देंती यीशु हेरनेरी इच्छा थी। तैनी तैसेरे बारे मां बेड़ि गल्लां शुनोरी थी, ते तैस बड़ी उमीद थी, कि यीशुएरो कोई चमत्कार हेरे।
9 He questioned him with many words, but he gave no answers.
तैनी यीशुए बड़ू किछ पुच़्छ़ू, पन यीशुए तैस कोई जुवाब न दित्तो।
10 The chief priests and the scribes stood, vehemently accusing him.
पन याजक ते प्रधान याजक ते कने शास्त्री लोक बड़े ज़ोरे शोरे सेइं यीशु पुड़ इलज़ाम लांने लगे।
11 Herod with his soldiers humiliated him and mocked him. Dressing him in luxurious clothing, they sent him back to Pilate.
तैखन हेरोदेस भी अपने सैथन सेइं मिलतां यीशुएरी तुहीन की, ते तैसेरी हासी बनाई फिरी तैस अक चमकतो कुरतो लुवेइतां पिलातुसे कां वापस भेज़ो।
12 Herod and Pilate became friends with each other that very day, for before that they were enemies with each other.
पेइले पिलातुस त हेरोदेस दुश्मन थिये, तैस दिहाड़े तैना दोस्त बेनि जे।
13 Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people,
तैखन पिलातुसे प्रधान याजक ते सरदार ते होरे लोक अकोट्ठे किये।
14 and said to them, “You brought this man to me as one that perverts the people, and behold, having examined him before you, I found no basis for a charge against this man concerning those things of which you accuse him.
“ते पिलातुसे तैन सेइं ज़ोवं तुसेईं ए मैन्हु मीं कां एन ज़ोंतो आनोरोए कि, ए लोकन भड़काते ते मिमी एसेरी पुछ़ गन की, पन ज़ैस जुर्मेरो दोष तुस एस पुड़ लातथ, अवं एल्हेरो एसमां कोई कसूर न लेईं।
15 Neither has Herod, for I sent you to him, and see, nothing worthy of death has been done by him.
ते न हेरोदेस ज़ैनी ए असन कां भेज़ोरोए तैस भी कोई दोष न मैल्लो, ते असन कां एरू कोई सबूत बराँमद न भोवं, ज़ैस सेइं ए कत्ल कियो गाए।
16 I will therefore chastise him and release him.”
तैल्हेरेलेइ अवं एस कोड़ेइं बाएतां छ़ैडी देताईं।”
17 Now he had to release one prisoner to them at the feast.
पिलातुस यहूदी केरे फ़सह तिहारेरे मौके पुड़ अक कैदी हथरां छ़डतो थियो।
18 But they all cried out together, saying, “Away with this man! Release to us Barabbas!”—
तैना सारे लोक चिन्डां लगे मारने, “कि एस मैन्हु सज़ा देथ ते बरअब्बा इश्शे लेइ हथरां छ़ड्डा।”
19 one who was thrown into prison for a certain revolt in the city, and for murder.
बरअब्बा नगर मां गड़बड़ी केरनेरे ते कतलेरे बारे मां पाबंद भोरो थियो।
20 Then Pilate spoke to them again, wanting to release Jesus,
पिलातुसे यीशु हथरां छ़डनेरे इरादे सेइं लोकन दुबारू पुच़्छ़ू।
21 but they shouted, saying, “Crucify! Crucify him!”
पन तैना लोक मना चिन्डां लगे मारने, “कि तू एस क्रूसे पुड़ च़ाढ़ एस क्रूस पुड़ च़ाढ़।”
22 He said to them the third time, “Why? What evil has this man done? I have found no capital crime in him. I will therefore chastise him and release him.”
तैखन पिलातुसे तैन ट्लेइयोवं फेरे फिरी ज़ोवं, “किजो आखर एनी कुन जुर्म कियोरोए? हेरा एसमां एरू कोई सबूत बराँमद न भोवं, कि ए मौतरे सज़ारो हकदार भोए, तैल्हेरेलेइ अवं एस कुटेइतां छ़ैडी देताईं।”
23 But they were urgent with loud voices, asking that he might be crucified. Their voices and the voices of the chief priests prevailed.
पन तैना चिन्डां मैरी-मैरी ज़ोने लगे, ए क्रूसे पुड़ च़ाढ़ोरो लोड़ते, ते तैन केरि चिन्डां मारनेरी उमीद पूरी भोइ।
24 Pilate decreed that what they asked for should be done.
बस्सा, पिलातुसे ज़ोवं कि तैन केरे मेरज़रे मुताबिक कियूं गाए।
25 He released him who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, for whom they asked, but he delivered Jesus up to their will.
ते ज़ै मैन्हु हुकुमतरे खलाफ ते खूनेरे जुर्मे मां कैद थियो, ते ज़ैस हथरां छ़डनेरे लेइ तैनेईं दरखुवास कियोरी थी, तै हथरां छ़ड्डो पन यीशु तैन केरि मेर्ज़ी सेइं सिपाही केरे हवाले कियो।
26 When they led him away, they grabbed one Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, and laid the cross on him to carry it after Jesus.
ज़ैखन तैना यीशु नेइतां च़लोरे थियो, त तैनेईं शमौन कुरेनी ज़ै एक्की ड्लोंवेरां ओरो थियो, ट्लातो ते क्रूस तैस कां छ़ूने जो दित्तू, कि तू ई क्रूसे छ़ुइतां यीशु पत्ती च़ला।
27 A great multitude of the people followed him, including women who also mourned and lamented him.
ते बड़े लोक तैस पत्ती च़लोरे थिये ते किछ कुआन्शां भी थी ज़ैना यीशुएरे लेइ शौग बनैती थी।
28 But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, don’t weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.
यीशुए तैन केरे पासे मुड़तां ज़ोवं, “हे यरूशलेम नगरेरी कुइयाव मेरे लेइ लेरां न देथ, बल्के अपने बच्चां केरे लेइ लेरां देथ।
29 For behold, the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.’
किजोकि तैना मुशकिल दिहाड़े एजने बालेन ज़ैखन लोक एन ज़ोले कि, ‘धन आन तैना कुआन्शां ज़ैना बेऔलादन ते बच्चे न पाले।’”
30 Then they will begin to tell the mountains, ‘Fall on us!’ and tell the hills, ‘Cover us.’
“तैस वक्ते लोक पहाड़न सेइं ज़ोले, ‘असन उन्ढे बिछ़ड़ा ते उच्ची ठारन जो ज़ोले, कि असन छ़पाथ।’
31 For if they do these things in the green tree, what will be done in the dry?”
किजोकि ज़ैखन तैनेईं सब्ज़ बुट्टे सेइं एन केरू, त शुक्कोरे बुट्टे सेइं कुन न केरेले?”
32 There were also others, two criminals, led with him to be put to death.
ते सिपाहेईं दूई होरे मुर्ज़म भी यीशु सेइं साथी च़लवरे थिये ताके तैन भी मारन।
33 When they came to the place that is called “The Skull”, they crucified him there with the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.
ज़ैखन तैना तैस ठैरी पुज़े ज़ैस जो “खोपड़ी” ज़ोतन त तैड़ी यीशु क्रूसे पुड़ च़ाढ़ो, ते तैना दूई मुर्ज़मन भी एक्की यीशुएरे देइने पासे ते होरि बांए पासे क्रूसे पुड़ च़ाढ़े।
34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.
यीशु ज़ोवं, “हे बाजी एन माफ़ करां एन न ज़ानन् कि एना कुन लोरेम केरने।” ते तैनेईं तैसेरे लिगड़ां केरे लेइ पेरची छ़ेडतां शर्त रख्खू ते एप्पू मांमेइं बंटां।
35 The people stood watching. The rulers with them also scoffed at him, saying, “He saved others. Let him save himself, if this is the Christ of God, his chosen one!”
लोक खड़खड़े एन सब किछ हेरने लोरे थिये ते सरदार ज़ोरे-ज़ोरे सेइं ज़ोते थिये, “एनी होरे त बच़ाए ते अगर ए मसीहे ते परमेशरेरो च़ुनोरे त अपने आपे किजो न बच़ाए।”
36 The soldiers also mocked him, coming to him and offering him vinegar,
सिपाही भी तैस कां एइतां तैसेरी हासी बनाने लगे (किजोकि तै अपनो आप राज़ो बनातो थियो), ते घटया दाछ़ारो रस पीनेरे लेइ तैस देने लगे।
37 and saying, “If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!”
“ते ज़ोते थिये तू अगर यहूदी केरो राज़ोस त अपनो आप बच़ा!”
38 An inscription was also written over him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: “THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
ते तैस क्रूसे पुड़ यानी यीशुएरे दोग्गे करां बहा अक पखड़ी लिखतां लेवरी थी, ते तैस पुड़ एन लिखेरू थियूं, “ए यहूदी केरो राज़ आए।”
39 One of the criminals who was hanged insulted him, saying, “If you are the Christ, save yourself and us!”
तैन दूई डैकू ज़ैना मारे जे तैन मरां एक्के यीशु जो तुहीन केरतां ज़ोवं, “अगर तू मसीह आस त एप्पू भी बंच़ ते असन भी बच़ा।”
40 But the other answered, and rebuking him said, “Don’t you even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
पन होरे दुइयोवं डैके तैस जो झ़िड़कतां ज़ोवं, “तीं परमेशरेरो भी डर नईं? ज़ै सज़ा तैस मैलने लावरी तीं भी त तैए सज़ा मैलने लोरीए।
41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong.”
असन त इन्साफेरे मुताबिक अपने बुरे कम्मां केरि सज़ा मैलने लोरी पन एनी त कोई गलत कम नईं कियेरू।”
42 He said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.”
तैखन तैनी ज़ोवं, “हे यीशु ज़ैखन तू अपने राज़्ज़े मां एज्जेलो त मीं भी याद केरां।”
43 Jesus said to him, “Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
यीशुए तैस जो ज़ोवं, “अवं तीं सेइं सच़ ज़ोताईं कि तू अज़े मीं सेइं साथी स्वर्गे मां भोलो।”
44 It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour.
दीसारे 12 बज़ेई सारे मुलखे मां आंधरू भोवं, त ट्लेइ बज़न तगर रावं।
45 The sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two.
दिहाड़ो भी कालो भोव ते मन्दरेरो पड़दो बां देंता बुन तगर फेटतां दूई टुक्ड़े भोइ जे।
46 Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” Having said this, he breathed his last.
यीशुए बड़े ज़ोरे सेइं ज़ोवं, “हे बाजी अवं अपनि आत्मा तेरे हथ्थे मां सोंफताईं,” ते एन ज़ोइतां यीशुए प्राण दित्ते।
47 When the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous man.”
ज़ैखन रोमी सूबेदारे एन सब हेरू त परमेशरेरी तारीफ़ केरते ज़ोवं, “ए मैन्हु सच़्च़े धर्मी थियो।”
48 All the multitudes that came together to see this, when they saw the things that were done, returned home beating their chests.
ते सारे लोक ज़ैना तैड़ी थिये ए अनर्थ हेरतां छाती पिट्टते च़ले जे।
49 All his acquaintances and the women who followed with him from Galilee stood at a distance, watching these things.
पन यीशुएरे सारे दोस्त ते तैना कुआन्शां ज़ैना गलील इलाके मरां यीशुए पत्पती ओरी थी दूर ज़ेरे खेड़ोइतां, ज़ैन किछ भोइ रावरू थियूं सब किछ हेरी रेवरी थी।
50 Behold, there was a man named Joseph, who was a member of the council, a good and righteous man
अक मैन्हु थियो, ज़ेसेरू नवं यूसुफ थियूं, तै यहूदी केरि आदालतरो अक मुलाज़म भी थियो, ते अक बड़ो नेक ते धर्मी मैन्हु थियो।
51 (he had not consented to their counsel and deed), from Arimathaea, a city of the Jews, who was also waiting for God’s Kingdom.
तै बेड्डी आदालत अफसरां केरे फैसलेरे हके मां न थियो। तै यहूदी केरे नगर अरिमतियाह रानेबालो थियो, ते परमेशरेरे राज़्ज़ेरे तलाशी मां थियो।
52 This man went to Pilate, and asked for Jesus’ body.
तैनी पिलातुसे कां गेइतां यीशुएरी लाश मगी।
53 He took it down and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb that was cut in stone, where no one had ever been laid.
ते लाश क्रूसे पुड़ेरां ओसैलतां मलमलेरे कपड़े मां पलेटतां ते एक्की कब्री मां रख्खी, ज़ै एक्की शफ़ड़ी मां बनेवरी थी, तैस कब्री मां पेइले कोई लाश न थी रखोरि।
54 It was the day of the Preparation, and the Sabbath was drawing near.
तै तियेरारी दिहाड़ी थी ज़ै आरामेरी दिहाड़ी शुरू भोने बाली थी।
55 The women who had come with him out of Galilee followed after, and saw the tomb and how his body was laid.
ते तैना दूई कुआन्शां ज़ैना गलील इलाके मरां यीशुए पत्पती ओरी थी, यूसुफे पत्पती जेई ते तैनेईं तै कब्र हेरी, कि यीशुएरी लाश एसमां केन्च़रे सेइं रखोरीए।
56 They returned and prepared spices and ointments. On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
तैखन तैना अपने घरे वापस आए, ते खुशबूदार चीज़ां ते इत्र तियार कियो ते आरामेरे दिहाड़े मूसेरे कानूनेरे मुताबिक आराम कियो।
