Luke 18
1 He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray and not give up,
୧ୱା଼ହାଆନା ଅଲେ ଅଲେ ପ୍ରା଼ତାନା କିନାୟିମାନେ, ଈ କାତାତି ଜୀସୁ ସୀସୁୟାଁଇଁ ପୁଣ୍ମ୍ବିକିନି କାତାତଲେ ୱେସ୍ତେସି
2 saying, “There was a judge in a certain city who didn’t fear God and didn’t respect man.
୨“ର଼ ଗା଼ଡ଼ାତା ର଼ ନୀହାଁୟି କିନାସି ମାଚେସି, ଏ଼ୱାସି ମାହାପୂରୁଇଁ ଆଜି ହିଲାଆତେସି କି ମାଣ୍ସିୟାଁଇଁ ଜିକେଏ ଅଣ୍ପି ହିଲାଆତେସି ।
3 A widow was in that city, and she often came to him, saying, ‘Defend me from my adversary!’
୩ଏ଼ ଗା଼ଡ଼ାତା ର଼ ରା଼ଣ୍ତେଣି ମାଚେ, ଏ଼ଦି ନୀହାଁୟି କିନାଣି ତା଼ଣା ଅଲେ ଅଲେ ହାଜିହିଁ ନୀନୁ ନେହିଁ ନୀହାଁୟି କିହିଁ ନା଼ କ଼ପାଟି ନିଙ୍ଗିମାଞ୍ଜାନାଣା ତା଼ଣାଟି ଗେଲ୍ପାମୁ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ବାତିମା଼ଲିମାଚେ ।
4 He wouldn’t for a while; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man,
୪ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଏ଼ୱାସି ଏ଼ଦାନି କାତା ୱେଞ୍ଜି ହିଲାଆତେସି; ଡା଼ୟୁ ଏ଼ୱାସି ମ଼ନ ମ଼ନତା ଅଣ୍ପିତେସି, ନା଼ନୁ ମାହାପୂରୁଇଁ ଆଜିହିଲଅଁ କି ମାଣ୍ସିଇଁ ଅଣ୍ପି ହିଲଅଁ,
5 yet because this widow bothers me, I will defend her, or else she will wear me out by her continual coming.’”
୫ଆ଼ତିଜିକେଏ ଈ ରା଼ଣ୍ତେଣି ନାଙ୍ଗେ କସ୍ତ ହୀହିମାଞ୍ଜାନାକି ନା଼ନୁ ତାନି କ଼ପାଟି ନିଙ୍ଗାମାନି ନୀହାଁୟି ଡିକ୍ହାତୁହ୍ଇଁ, ଆ଼ଆତିଁ ଏ଼ଦି ନାଙ୍ଗେ ବାରେବେ଼ଲା ଗିଜିଗିଜା କିହେ଼ମାଞ୍ଜାନେ ।”
6 The Lord said, “Listen to what the unrighteous judge says.
୬ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ପ୍ରବୁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଈ ଲାଗେଏତି ନୀହାଁୟି କିନାଣି କାତା ଅଣ୍ପାଦୁ ।
7 Won’t God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?
୭ଆତିହିଁ ମାହାପୂରୁ ଆ଼ଚିତି ଲ଼କୁ ଲା଼ଆଁ ମାଦେନା ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ହା଼ଟିହିଁ ଡ଼ୟିନେରି, ଏ଼ୱାସି କି ଏ଼ୱାରି ନୀହାଁୟି କିଅସି? ଆ଼ତିଜିକେଏ ଏ଼ୱାସି ଏ଼ୱାରି ସାତ୍ରୁୟାଁକି ହା଼ରେକା ଅ଼ର୍ହିନାସି ଆ଼ନେସି କି?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
୮ନା଼ନୁ ମିଙ୍ଗେ ୱେସିମାଞ୍ଜାଇଁ, ଏ଼ୱାସି ତବେ ଏ଼ୱାରି ତାକି କିୱି ଆ଼ହାମାନି ପ଼ଲ୍ଆ କାମାତି ନୀହାଁୟି କିନେସି, ଆ଼ତିଜିକେଏ ମାଣ୍ସି ମୀର୍ଏସି ଦାର୍ତିତା ୱା଼ହାନା ନାମୁତି ମେହ୍ନେସିକି?”
9 He also spoke this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others:
୯ତାମ୍ଙ୍ଗେ ତୀରିଗାଟାତମି ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ଅଣ୍ପାନା ଏଟ୍କା ତାରାଇଁ ହୀଣି କିନି ଲ଼କୁଣି ଜୀସୁ ଈ ପୁଣ୍ମ୍ବିକିନି କାତା ୱେସ୍ତେସି,
10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.
୧୦ରିଆରି ପ୍ରା଼ତାନା କିହାଲି ର଼ ପ୍ରା଼ତାନା ଇଲୁତା ହାଚେରି, ରଅସି ପାରୁସି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ରଅସି ସିସ୍ତୁ ରୀହ୍ନାସି ।
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed by himself like this: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men: extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
୧୧ପାରୁସି ନିଚାନା ଇଲେକିହିଁ ପ୍ରା଼ତାନା କିତେସି, “ଏ଼ ମାହାପୂରୁ ନା଼ନୁ ନିଙ୍ଗେ ଜହରା କିହିମାଞ୍ଜାଇଁ, ନା଼ନୁ ଏଟ୍କା ଲ଼କୁ ଲେହେଁ ଦାର୍ମୁ ହିଲାଆ ଗାଟାତେଏଁ ଆ଼ଏ, ସ଼ରୁ, ଦା଼ରି ଗାଟାତେଏଁ ଆ଼ଏ କି ଈ ସିସ୍ତୁ ରୀହ୍ନାଣି ଲେହେଁ ଜିକେଏ ଆ଼ଏ;
12 I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’
୧୨ନା଼ନୁ ୱା଼ରା ତାକି ରୀ ଦେବା ଉପାସା କିହିମାଇଁ, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ନା଼ନୁ ବେଟାଆ଼ହି ମାନାଣି ବାରେ ଦସ ବା଼ଗାଟି ର଼ ବା଼ଗା ହୀହିମାଇଁ ।”
13 But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
୧୩ସାମା ସିସ୍ତୁ ରୀହ୍ନାସି ହେକ ନିଚାନା ତାନି କାନୁ ଲାକପୂରୁ ୱାକି ଜିକେଏ ପେର୍ହାଁ ସିନିକିହାଲି ସା଼ସା କିଆତେସି, ସାମା ତାନି ବକତା ୱେ଼ଚା କଡାନା ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଏ଼ ମାହାପୂରୁ ନା଼ନୁ ପା଼ପୁ ଗାଟାତେଏଁ ନାଙ୍ଗେ କାର୍ମା ମେସ୍ତାମୁ ।”
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
୧୪“ନା଼ନୁ ମିଙ୍ଗେ ୱେସିମାଞ୍ଜାଇଁ, ଏ଼ୱାସି ଆ଼ଏ ସାମା ସିସ୍ତୁ ରୀହ୍ନାସି ତୀରିଗାଟାସି ଆ଼ହାନା ତାମି ଇଜ ହାଚେସି; ଏ଼ନିଇଚିହିଁ ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ନା଼ନୁ କାଜାତେଏଁ ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ କଡିନେସି, ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଊଣା କିୱିଆ଼ନେ, ସାମା ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ନା଼ନୁ ଊଣାତେଏଁ ଇନେସି, ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ କାଜାସି କିୱିଆ଼ନେ ।”
15 They were also bringing their babies to him, that he might touch them. But when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
୧୫ଏ଼ୱାସି ଏ଼ନିକିଁ କକାରି ପ଼ଦାଁଣି ଡୀଗିନେସି, ଏ଼ଦାଆଁତାକି ଲ଼କୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ଜୀସୁ ତା଼ଣା ତାଚାଲି ମା଼ଟ୍ହେରି; ସାମା ସୀସୁୟାଁ ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ ମେସାନା ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ଦାକା ହୀତେରି ।
16 Jesus summoned them, saying, “Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.
୧୬ସାମା ଜୀସୁ କକାରି ପ଼ଦାଁଣି ଡାଗେ ହା଼ଟାନା ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “କକାରି ପ଼ଦାଁଣି ନା଼ ଡାଗେ ୱା଼ହାଲି ହୀଦୁ, ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ କା଼ହିକିଆଦୁ; ଏ଼ନିଇଚିହିଁ ମାହାପୂରୁତି ରା଼ଜି ଇଲେତାରାୱାୟି ।
17 Most certainly, I tell you, whoever doesn’t receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”
୧୭ନା଼ନୁ ମିଙ୍ଗେ ସାତା ୱେସିମାଞ୍ଜାଇଁ, ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ଊଣା କକାରି ପ଼ଦାୟାଁ ଲେହେଁ ମାହାପୂରୁ ରା଼ଜି ଆହ୍ଅସି ଏ଼ୱାସି ଏ଼ନିକିଁ ଜିକେଏ ଏମ୍ବାଆଁ ହ଼ଡାଲି ଆ଼ଡଅସି ।”
18 A certain ruler asked him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
୧୮ଜୀହୁଦି ଲ଼କୁ ବିତ୍ରାଟି କାଜାସି ଜୀସୁଇଁ ୱେଚେସି, “ଏ଼ ନେହିଁ ଗୂରୁ କା଼ଲାକା଼ଲାତି ଜୀୱୁ ବେଟାଆ଼ହାଲି ନା଼ନୁ ଏ଼ନାଆଁ କିଇଁ?” (aiōnios g166)
19 Jesus asked him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good, except one: God.
୧୯ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ନାଙ୍ଗେ ନେହାଁତି ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ଏ଼ନାଆଁତାକି ଏଲେଇଞ୍ଜିମାଞ୍ଜି? ଇଚିହିଁ ମାହାପୂରୁ ରଅସିଏ ନେହାଁସି ମାନେସି ଏ଼ୱାଣି ପିସ୍ପେ ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ନେହାଁସି ହିଲଅସି ।
20 You know the commandments: ‘Don’t commit adultery,’ ‘Don’t murder,’ ‘Don’t steal,’ ‘Don’t give false testimony,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’”
୨୦ହୁକୁମିକା ପୁଞ୍ଜାମାଞ୍ଜି, ‘ଦା଼ରି କିଆନି, ଲ଼କୁଣି ପା଼ୟାଆନି, ସ଼ରୁ କିଆନି, ମିଚିସାକି ହୀଆନି, ତାଲି ତାଞ୍ଜି କାତା ମା଼ନି କିମୁ ।’”
21 He said, “I have observed all these things from my youth up.”
୨୧ଦ଼ନଗାଟାସି ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ନା଼ନୁ ଈ ବାରେ ଊଣାୱେଡ଼ାଟିଏ କିହିମାଇଁ ।”
22 When Jesus heard these things, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor. Then you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”
୨୨ଜୀସୁ ଈ କାତା ୱେଞ୍ଜାନା ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ନୀନୁ ର଼ କାମା କିନାୟିମାନେ; ନୀନୁ ନୀ ତା଼ଣା ମାନି ବାରେ ଦ଼ନବିତି ପାର୍ଚାନାହାଁ ହିଲାଆ ଗାଟାରାକି ଦା଼ନା ହୀମୁ, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଡା଼ୟୁ ନୀନୁ ଲାକପୂରୁତା ଦ଼ନ ବେଟାଆ଼ଦି; ଏଚେଟିଏ ନା଼ ଜେ଼ଚ ଜେ଼ଚ ୱା଼ମୁ ।”
23 But when he heard these things, he became very sad, for he was very rich.
୨୩ସାମା ଏ଼ୱାସି ଈ ବାରେ କାତା ୱେଞ୍ଜାନା ହା଼ରେକା ଦୁକୁ ଆ଼ତେସି, ଇଚିହିଁ ଏ଼ୱାସି ବାତ୍କୁ ଗାଟାସି ମାଚେସି ।
24 Jesus, seeing that he became very sad, said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!
୨୪ଏଚେଟିଏ ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ମେସାନା ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଆମ୍ବାଆରି ଦ଼ନ ମାନେ, ଏ଼ୱାରି ହା଼ରେକା କସ୍ତତଲେ ମାହାପୂରୁତି ରା଼ଜିତା ହ଼ଡ଼୍ନେରି!
25 For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”
୨୫ଇଚିହିଁ ମାହାପୂରୁତି ରା଼ଜିତା ଦ଼ନଗାଟାସି ହ଼ଡ଼୍ନି କିହାଁ ଊଟୁ ସୂଜା କା଼ଣିଟି ହ଼ଚାହାନାୟି ଊସାସା ।”
26 Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?”
୨୬ଏ଼ କାତା ୱେଞ୍ଜିମାଚାରି ଏଲେଇଚେରି, “ଆତିହିଁ ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ଗେଲ୍ପି ଆ଼ହାଲି ଆ଼ଡିନେସି?”
27 But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
୨୭ଜୀସୁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଏ଼ନାଆଁ ଲ଼କୁ କିୟାଲି ଆ଼ଡାଆଗାଟାଣି ମାହାପୂରୁ କିହାଲି ଆ଼ଡିମାନେସି ।”
28 Peter said, “Look, we have left everything and followed you.”
୨୮ଏଚେ଼ତା ପିତର ଜୀସୁଇଁ ୱେଚେସି, “ମେହ୍ମୁ ମା଼ମ୍ବୁ ବାରେ ପିସାନା ନୀ ଜେ଼ଚ ୱା଼ହିମାନମି ।”
29 He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for God’s Kingdom’s sake,
୨୯ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ୱେସ୍ତେସି, “ନା଼ନୁ ମିଙ୍ଗେ ସାତା ୱେସିମାଞ୍ଜାଇଁ, ଆମିନି ଗାଟାରି ମାହାପୂରୁ ରା଼ଜିତାକି ଇଲୁକାଣ୍ତା, ଡକ୍ରିନି, ତାୟି, ତାଲି ତାଞ୍ଜି, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ମୀର୍କା ମା଼ସ୍କାଣି ପିସାମାନେରି,
31 He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be completed.
୩୧ଜୀସୁ ତାନି ବା଼ରଜା଼ଣା ସୀସୁୟାଁଇଁ ହା଼ଟାନା ୱେସ୍ତେସି, “ମେହ୍ଦୁ ମା଼ର ଜିରୁସାଲମତା ହାଜିମାନାୟି, ଏମ୍ବାଆଁ ମାଣ୍ସି ମୀର୍ଏଣି ତାକି ମାହାପୂରୁ ଅଣ୍ପୁତି ବ଼ଲୁ ୱେହ୍ନାରି ଏ଼ନା ଏ଼ନାଆଁ ରା଼ଚାମାନେରି, ଏ଼ ବାରେ ମାଣ୍ସି ମୀର୍ଏଣା ତା଼ଣା ସାତା ଆ଼ନେ;
32 For he will be delivered up to the Gentiles, will be mocked, treated shamefully, and spit on.
୩୨ଇଚିହିଁ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଏଟ୍କା କୂଡ଼ାତାରି କେୟୁତା ହେର୍ପିଆ଼ନେସି, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଏ଼ୱାରି ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ କାକ୍ନେରି, ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ହୀଣି କିହାନା ହୂପିନେରି,
33 They will scourge and kill him. On the third day, he will rise again.”
୩୩ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ସା଼ଟ୍ଣି ଡ଼଼ରିତଲେ ୱେ଼ଚାନା ପା଼ୟିନେରି, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ତୀନି ଦିନାଟିଏ ନିଙ୍ଗିନେସି ।”
34 They understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they didn’t understand the things that were said.
୩୪ସାମା ସୀସୁୟାଁ ଈ ବାରେ କାତା ପୁଞ୍ଜାଲି ଆ଼ଡାଆତେରି; ଈ କାତା ଏ଼ୱାରିତା଼ଣା ଡ଼ୁଗାନା ମାଚେ, ଏ଼ନାଆଁ ୱେସ୍ପି ଆ଼ହିମାଚେ ଏ଼ ବାରେ ପୁଞ୍ଜିହିଲାଆତେରି ।
35 As he came near Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the road, begging.
୩୫ଜୀସୁ ଜିରିହ ଗା଼ଡ଼ାତା ଏଜିମାଚାଟି ର଼ କା଼ଣା ଜିରୁତା କୁଗାନା ରୀସ୍ପିମାଚେସି ।
36 Hearing a multitude going by, he asked what this meant.
୩୬ଏ଼ୱାସି ଲ଼କୁତି ହାଜିମାନି ହା଼ଡା ୱେଞ୍ଜାନା, “ଈଦି ଏ଼ନାୟି ଆ଼ହିମାନେ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ୱେଚେସି ।”
37 They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.
୩୭“ନା଼ଜରିତତି ଜୀସୁ ଇମ୍ବାଟି ହାଜିମାନେସି” ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ୱେସ୍ତେରି ।
38 He cried out, “Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!”
୩୮ଏଚେଟିଏ କା଼ଣା କାଜା ଗିୟାଁତଲେ ଏଲେଇଞ୍ଜି ଇଚେସି, “ଏ଼ ଜୀସୁ ଦାୱୁଦ ମୀର୍ଏଣାତି ନାଙ୍ଗେ କାର୍ମା ମେସ୍ତାମୁ ।”
39 Those who led the way rebuked him, that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”
୩୯ସାମା ନ଼କିତା ହାଜିମାଚାରି ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ପାଲେଏ ମାଞ୍ଜାଲି ଦାକା ହୀତେରି, ସାମା ଏ଼ୱାସି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ କାଜା ଗିୟାଁତଲେ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଏ଼ ଜୀସୁ ଦାୱୁଦ ମୀର୍ଏଣାତି ନାଙ୍ଗେ କାର୍ମା ମେସ୍ତାମୁ ।”
40 Standing still, Jesus commanded him to be brought to him. When he had come near, he asked him,
୪୦ଏଚେଟିଏ ଜୀସୁ ଏମ୍ବାଆଁ ନିଚାନା କା଼ଣାଇଁ ତାନି ଦାରିତା ତାଚାଲି ଟା଼ଣ୍ତିତେସି; ଏଚେ଼ତା କା଼ଣା ଡାଗେ ୱା଼ତେସି ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ୱେଚେସି,
41 “What do you want me to do?” He said, “Lord, that I may see again.”
୪୧“ନା଼ନୁ ନିଙ୍ଗେତାକି ଏ଼ନାଆଁ କିଇଁ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ମ଼ନ କିହିମାଞ୍ଜି?” କା଼ଣା ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଏ଼ ପ୍ରବୁ ନା଼ନୁ ଏ଼ନିକିଁ ମେସାଲି ଆ଼ଡିଇଁ ।”
42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you.”
୪୨ଜୀସୁ ୱେସ୍ତେସି, “ନୀନୁ ମେହ୍ମୁ, ନୀ ନାମୁ ନିଙ୍ଗେ ନେହିଁ କିୟାତେ ।”
43 Immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, praised God.
୪୩ଏ଼ ଦେବୁଣିଏ ଏ଼ୱାସି ମେସାଲି ଆ଼ଡିତେସି ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ମାହାପୂରୁତି ଜହରା କିହିଁ କିହିଁ ଜୀସୁ ଜେ଼ଚ ହାଚେସି, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଲ଼କୁ ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ ମେସାନା ମାହାପୂରୁଇଁ ଜହରା କିତେରି ।
