Luke 14
1 When he went into the house of one of the rulers of the Pharisees on a Sabbath to eat bread, they were watching him.
୧ଜୀସୁ ର଼ ଜ଼ମିନି ଦିନା ରା଼ନ୍ଦା ତିଞ୍ଜାଲି ପାରୁସିୟାଁ ବିତ୍ରାଟି ର଼ କାଜାଣି ଇଜ ହ଼ଡାଲିଏ ଏ଼ୱାରି ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଦ଼ହ ଦସାଲି ପ଼ର୍ହି ମାଚେରି ।
2 Behold, a certain man who had dropsy was in front of him.
୨ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ମେହ୍ଦୁ ଏ଼ୱାଣି ନ଼କିତା କେସ୍କା କଡାୟାଁ ପଂଗିତାସି ରଅସି ମାଚେସି ।
3 Jesus, answering, spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”
୩ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ଜୀସୁ ମ଼ସାତି ମେ଼ରାପୁନାରି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ପାରୁସିୟାଁଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଜ଼ମିନି ଦିନାତା ରଅଣାଇଁ ନେହିଁକିନି ମେ଼ରା ମାନେକି ଆ଼ଏ?”
4 But they were silent. He took him, and healed him, and let him go.
୪ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ବାରେଜା଼ଣା ପାଲେଏ ଆ଼ତେରି । ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଡୀଗାହାଁ ନେହିଁ କିହାନା ମୀ ଇଜ ହାଲାମୁ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ହେଲ ହୀତେସି ।
5 He answered them, “Which of you, if your son or an ox fell into a well, wouldn’t immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?”
୫ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଏ଼ୱାସି ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ମୀ ବିତ୍ରାଟି ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ମୀର୍ଏସି କି କ଼ଡି ଜ଼ମିନି ଦିନାତା କୁହିତା ରିତିହିଁ ଏ଼ ଦେବୁଣିଏ ଡ଼େୱା କଡଅସି କି?”
6 They couldn’t answer him regarding these things.
୬ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଏ଼ୱାରି ଈ ବାରେ କାତା ୱେଞ୍ଜାନା ଏ଼ନାଆଁ ଜ଼ଲାଲି ଆ଼ଡାଆତେରି ।
7 He spoke a parable to those who were invited, when he noticed how they chose the best seats, and said to them,
୭ବ଼ଜିତା ହା଼ଟ୍କି ଆ଼ହାମାଚାରି ନେହିଁ ନେହିଁ ଟା଼ୟୁତା କୁଗାଲି ବାଚି କିହିମାଚାଣି ମେସାନା, ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ର଼ ପୁଣ୍ମ୍ବିକିନି କାତା ୱେସ୍ତେସି,
8 “When you are invited by anyone to a wedding feast, don’t sit in the best seat, since perhaps someone more honorable than you might be invited by him,
୮“ଏଚିବେ଼ଲା ରଅସି ମିଙ୍ଗେ ବୀହା ବ଼ଜିତା ହା଼ଟାନେସି, ଏମ୍ବାଆଁ ନେହିଁ ଟା଼ୟୁତା କୁଗାଆଦୁ, ଇଚିହିଁ ଏମ୍ବାଆଁ ନୀ କିହାଁ କାଜାସି ଜିକେଏ ହା଼ଟ୍କି ଆ଼ହାଡ଼ୟିନେସି,
9 and he who invited both of you would come and tell you, ‘Make room for this person.’ Then you would begin, with shame, to take the lowest place.
୯ଏଚେ଼ତା ନିଙ୍ଗେ ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ହା଼ଟା ମାନାସି, ଏ଼ୱାସି ୱା଼ହାନା ଈୱାଣାକି ଈ ଟା଼ୟୁ ପିସାହୀମୁ ଇଞ୍ଜାନେସି, ଏଚେ଼ତା ନୀନୁ ଲାଜାତଲେ ଊଣା ଟା଼ୟୁତା କୁଗିଦି ।
10 But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place, so that when he who invited you comes, he may tell you, ‘Friend, move up higher.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all who sit at the table with you.
୧୦ସାମା ଏଚିବେ଼ଲା ନୀନୁ ହା଼ଟ୍କି ଆ଼ହାମାନି ତା଼ଣା ହାଜାନା ଡ଼଼ଇତି ଟା଼ୟୁତା କୁଗାମୁ, ଏଚେଟିଏ ନିଙ୍ଗେ ହା଼ଟି କିହାମାଞ୍ଜାନାସି, ଏ଼ ତ଼ଣେ ନୀନୁ ଈ ନେହିଁ ଟା଼ୟୁତା କୁଗାମୁ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ହା଼ଟାସାରେ ଏଚିବେ଼ଲା କୂଡ଼ା ଆ଼ହାମାନି ଲ଼କୁ ନ଼କିତା ଗାଡି ମା଼ନି ବେଟାଆ଼ଦି ।
11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”
୧୧ଇଚିହିଁ ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ନା଼ନୁ କାଜାତେଏଁ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ କଡିନାଣାଇଁ ଊଣା କିୱିଆ଼ନେ, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ତାଙ୍ଗେ ଊଣା କିହାକଡିନେସି ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ କାଜାସି କିୱିଆ଼ନେ ।”
12 He also said to the one who had invited him, “When you make a dinner or a supper, don’t call your friends, nor your brothers, nor your kinsmen, nor rich neighbors, or perhaps they might also return the favor, and pay you back.
୧୨ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଜୀସୁ ତାଙ୍ଗେ ହା଼ଟି କିହା ମାଚାଣାଇଁ ଜିକେଏ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ନୀନୁ ବ଼ଜି ହୀନାଟି ନୀ ତ଼ଣେସିଙ୍ଗାଣି, ତାୟିୟାଁ, ସାମ୍ନ୍ଦିୟାଁ କି ନୀ ନା଼ୟୁଁତା ମାନି ଦ଼ନ ଗାଟାରାଇଁ ହା଼ଟାଆନି, ଇଚିହିଁ ଏ଼ୱାରି ଜିକେଏ ନିଙ୍ଗେ ହା଼ଟାଲି ଆ଼ଡାନେରି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ନୀନୁ ୱେଣ୍ତେ ବେଟାଆ଼ଦି ।
13 But when you make a feast, ask the poor, the maimed, the lame, or the blind;
୧୩ସାମା ବ଼ଜି କିତିସାରେ ହିଲାଆ ଗାଟାରି, କଲାୟାଁ, ସଟାୟାଁ, କା଼ଣାୟାଁଣି ହା଼ଟାମୁ; ଆତିହିଁ ନୀନୁ ନେହାଁତି ଆ଼ଦି,
14 and you will be blessed, because they don’t have the resources to repay you. For you will be repaid in the resurrection of the righteous.”
୧୪ଆତିହିଁ ନିଙ୍ଗେତାକି ନେହେଁ, ଇଚିହିଁ ନିଙ୍ଗେ ୱେଣ୍ତେ ହୀହାଲି ଏ଼ୱାରିତା଼ଣା ଏ଼ନାୟି ହିଲେଏ; ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ତୀରିଗାଟାରି ୱେଣ୍ତେ ନିଙ୍ଗିନାଟି ମାହାପୂରୁ ନିଙ୍ଗେ ୱେଣ୍ତେ ହିୟାନେସି ।”
15 When one of those who sat at the table with him heard these things, he said to him, “Blessed is he who will feast in God’s Kingdom!”
୧୫ଈ କାତା ୱେଞ୍ଜାନା ଏ଼ୱାଣିତଲେ ତିଞ୍ଜାଲି କୁଗାମାଚାରି ବିତ୍ରାଟି ରଅସି ଜୀସୁଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଆମିନିଗାଟାସି ମାହାପୂରୁ ରା଼ଜିତା ବ଼ଜି ତିନାସି ଏ଼ୱାସି ନେହାଁସି ।”
16 But he said to him, “A certain man made a great supper, and he invited many people.
୧୬ସାମା ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ରଅସି ର଼ କାଜା ବ଼ଜି ଲ଼କୁକି ହୀଇଁ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ଅଣ୍ପାନା ହା଼ରେକା ଲ଼କୁଇଁ ହା଼ଟିତେସି;
17 He sent out his servant at supper time to tell those who were invited, ‘Come, for everything is ready now.’
୧୭ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ତିନି କାଟୁ ଆୟାଲିଏ, ଏ଼ୱାସି ହା଼ଟାମାନି ଲ଼କୁତା଼ଣା ତାନି ହ଼ଲେଏଣାଇଁ ପାଣ୍ତାନା ଏଲେଇଚେସି, ‘ବାରେ ଆ଼ତେୟିଏ ନୀଏଟି ମୀରୁ ତିଞ୍ଜାଲି ୱା଼ଦୁ ।’
18 They all as one began to make excuses. “The first said to him, ‘I have bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please have me excused.’
୧୮ସାମା ବାରେଜା଼ଣା ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ରଣ୍ତିଏ କାତା ଏଲେଇଚେରି, ରଅସି ୱେସ୍ତେସି, ‘ନା଼ନୁ ଇଚାଣି ବୂମି କଡାମାଇଁ ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ ସିନିକିହାଲି ହାନାୟିମାନେ; ଏ଼ଦାଆଁତାକି ନାଙ୍ଗେ କାର୍ମା ଅଣ୍ପାମୁ ନା଼ନୁ ୱା଼ହାଲି ଆ଼ଡଅଁ ।’
19 “Another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I must go try them out. Please have me excused.’
୧୯ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ରଅସି ଏଲେଇଚେସି, ‘ନା଼ନୁ ପା଼ସା ହେ଼ରୁ କ଼ଡିୟାଁ କଡାମାଇଁ, ନା଼ନୁ ଏ଼ୱାସିକାଣି ମା଼ତ୍ନାୟି ମାନେ ଏ଼ଦାଣିତାକି ନାଙ୍ଗେ କାର୍ମା ଅଣ୍ପାମୁ ନା଼ନୁ ୱା଼ହାଲି ଆ଼ଡଅଁ ।’
20 “Another said, ‘I have married a wife, and therefore I can’t come.’
୨୦ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ରଅସି ଏଲେଇଚେସି, ‘ନା଼ନୁ ନୀଞ୍ଜୁ ବୀହା ଆ଼ହାମାଇଁ ଏ଼ଦାଆଁତାକି ନା଼ନୁ ୱା଼ହାଲି ଆ଼ଡଅଁ ।’
21 “That servant came, and told his lord these things. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in the poor, maimed, blind, and lame.’
୨୧ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଏ଼ ହ଼ଲେଏସି ୱା଼ହାନା ବାରେ ତାନି ସା଼ୱୁକାରିଇଁ ୱେସ୍ତେସି । ଏଚେଟିଏ ଏ଼ କାତା ୱେଞ୍ଜାନା ଏ଼ୱାସି କାର୍ବି ଆ଼ହାନା ତାନି ହ଼ଲେଏଣାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, ନୀନୁ ତବେ ଗା଼ଡ଼ାତି ସାହ୍ଡ଼ାୟାଁ ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଡାଣ୍ତେଣାଁ ହାଜାନା ହିଲାଆଗାଟାରାଇଁ, କଲାୟାଇଁ, ସଟାୟାଁଇଁ ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ କା଼ଣାୟାଁଇଁ ଇମ୍ବାଆଁ ହା଼ଟାତାମୁ ।
22 “The servant said, ‘Lord, it is done as you commanded, and there is still room.’
୨୨ଡା଼ୟୁ ଏ଼ ହ଼ଲେଏସି ଏଲେଇଚେସି, ‘ଏ଼ ପ୍ରବୁ ନୀ କାତାତଲେ ବାରେ କିତମି ସାମା ଇଲୁ ନେଞ୍ଜା ହିଲେଏ ।’
23 “The lord said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
୨୩ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ସା଼ୱୁକାରି ହ଼ଲେଏଣାଇଁ ଟା଼ଣ୍ତିତେସି, ‘କାଜା ଆଂଗେଣି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ମା଼ର୍ନୁ ଡ଼଼ଇ ହାଜାନା ନା଼ ଇଲୁ ଏ଼ନିକିଁ ନେଞ୍ଜିନେ ଏ଼ଦାଆଁତାକି ଲ଼କୁଣି ୱା଼ହାଲି ଏଲେଇନାମୁ ।
24 For I tell you that none of those men who were invited will taste of my supper. For many are called, but few are chosen.’”
୨୪ନା଼ନୁ ୱେସିମାଞ୍ଜାଇଁ ତଲି ହା଼ଟାମାଚାରି ବିତ୍ରାଟି ରଅସି ଜିକେଏ ନା଼ ବ଼ଜି ୱାଣ୍ତାଲି ବେଟାଆ଼ଅସି ।’”
25 Now great multitudes were going with him. He turned and said to them,
୨୫ମାନ୍ଦା ଲ଼କୁ ଜୀସୁତଲେ ହାଜିମାଚେରି, ଏ଼ୱାସି ଡା଼ୟୁୱାକି ସିନିକିହାନା ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି,
26 “If anyone comes to me, and doesn’t disregard his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can’t be my disciple.
୨୬“ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ନା଼ ତା଼ଣା ୱା଼ହାନା ତାନି ତାଲି, ତାଞ୍ଜି, ଡକ୍ରି, ମୀର୍କା, ମା଼ସ୍କା, ତାୟି ତାଙ୍ଗିସ୍କାଣି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ତାନି ଜୀୱୁତି ଜିକେଏ ଅ଼ପଅସି ଏ଼ୱାସି ନା଼ ସୀସୁ ଆୟାଲି ଆ଼ଡଅସି ।
27 Whoever doesn’t bear his own cross and come after me, can’t be my disciple.
୨୭ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ତାନି କ୍ରୁସ ଡେ଼କାନା ନା଼ ଜେ଼ଚ ଜେ଼ଚ ୱା଼ଅସି, ଏ଼ୱାସି ନା଼ ସୀସୁ ଆୟାଲି ଆ଼ଡଅସି ।
28 For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doesn’t first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?
୨୮ମୀ ବିତ୍ରାଟି ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ପାଡିକିହିଁ କ଼ଟା ଇଲୁ ଦସାଲି ଅଣ୍ପିନେସି, ଦହ୍ନି କାମା ରା଼ପ୍ହାଲି ଟାକାୟାଁ ଏନୁ କି ଏଉ ଇଞ୍ଜିହିଁ ଏମ୍ବାତି ଲେକା କିଅସିକି?
29 Or perhaps, when he has laid a foundation and isn’t able to finish, everyone who sees begins to mock him,
୨୯ଏଚେ଼ତା ଏ଼ୱାସି ପୁନାଦି ନିପ୍ହାନା ରା଼ପ୍ହାଲି ଆ଼ଡାଆସାରେ, ଏଚେକା ଲ଼କୁ ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ ମେହ୍ନେରି, ବାରେଜା଼ଣା ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ କାକ୍ନେରି,
30 saying, ‘This man began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’
୩୦ଲ଼କୁ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଲାଜାକିହିଁ ଏଲେଇନେରି, ଈୱାସି ଇଲୁ ଦସାଲି ମା଼ଟ୍ହେସି ରା଼ପ୍ହାଲି ଆ଼ଡାଆତେସି ।
31 Or what king, as he goes to encounter another king in war, will not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand?
୩୧ର଼ ରାଜା ଅ଼ର ରାଜା କ଼ପାଟି ଜୁଜୁ କିହାଲି ହାଜିମାନାଟି ଦସ ମା଼ଣା କ଼ସ୍କା ଏ଼ୱାଣି କଡ଼େ ମା଼ଣା କ଼ସ୍କା କ଼ପାଟି ଜୁଜୁ କିହାଲି ଆ଼ଡିନେରିକି ଆ଼ଏ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ଅଣ୍ପଅସିକି?
32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends an envoy and asks for conditions of peace.
୩୨ଆ଼ଡାଆଲେହେଁ ଇଚିହିଁ ଏ଼ ରାଜା ହେକ ମାନାଟିଏ ଏ଼ୱାସି ରା଼ଜିମା଼ନା ଆୟାଲି କ଼ସ୍କାଣି ହିତ୍ଡ଼ି ତାକି ଏଲେଇଞ୍ଜା ପାଣ୍ତିନେସି ।
33 So therefore, whoever of you who doesn’t renounce all that he has, he can’t be my disciple.
୩୩ଏଲେକିହିଁଏ ମୀ ବିତ୍ରାଟି ଜିକେଏ ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ତାନି ବାରେ ପିହ୍ଆତିହିଁ ଏ଼ୱାସି ନା଼ ସୀସୁ ଆୟାଲି ଆ଼ଡଅସି ।”
34 “Salt is good, but if the salt becomes flat and tasteless, with what do you season it?
୩୪“ହା଼ରୁତ ନେହାୟି; ସାମା ହା଼ରୁ ମୂଆସାରେ ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ ଏ଼ନିକିଁ ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଏ଼ନାଆଁତଲେ ହା଼ରୁ ଲେହେଁ ମୂପି କିନାୟି?
35 It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile. It is thrown out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
୩୫ଏ଼ଦି ବୂମିତା କି ଗାତା କ଼ଟୁତା କୁତୁସାଲି ଜିକେଏ ଜ଼ଗେ ଆ଼ଏ । ଲ଼କୁ ଏ଼ଦାନି ପାଙ୍ଗାତା କୁତା ତୁହ୍ନେରି । ଆମ୍ବାଆରି ୱେଞ୍ଜାଲି କୀର୍କା ମାଚିହିଁ, ୱେଞ୍ଜୁ ।”
