John 9
1 As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.
୧ୟୀଶୁ ସେନଃତାନ୍ ତାଇକେନ୍ ଇମ୍ତା ଜାନାମ୍ଏତେ କାଣାଁକାନ୍ ମିଆଁଦ୍ ହଡ଼କେ ନେଲ୍କିୟାଏ ।
2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
୨ଆଡଃ ଇନିୟାଃ ଚେଲାକ ଇନିଃକେ କୁଲିକିୟାଃକ, “ହେ ଗୁରୁ, ଅକଏୟାଃ ପାପ୍ ଖାତିର୍ ନିଃ କାଣାଁକେଦ୍ତେ ଜାନାମ୍ୟାନାଏ? ଚିୟାଃ ଆୟାଃ ପାପ୍ତେଗିଚି ଆୟାଃ ଏଙ୍ଗା ଆପୁକିନାଃ?”
3 Jesus answered, “This man didn’t sin, nor did his parents, but that the works of God might be revealed in him.
୩ୟୀଶୁ କାଜିରୁହାଡ଼ାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଇନିୟାଃ କାଣାଁକାନ୍ତେୟାଃ ଆୟାଃ ଚାଏ ଆୟାଃ ଏଙ୍ଗା ଆପୁକିନାଃ ପାପ୍ ନାଗେନ୍ତେଦ କାହାଗି ମେନ୍ଦ ନିଃତାଃରେ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ କାମି ଉଦୁବଃକା ମେନ୍ତେ ଇନିଃ କାଣାଁକେଦ୍ତେ ଜାନାମ୍ କାନାଏ ।
4 I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.
୪ସିଙ୍ଗି ତାଇନ୍ ତାଇନ୍ଗି ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍କେ କୁଲ୍ନିୟାଃ କାମି ଆବୁକେ କାମି ଲାଗାତିୟାଃଁ, ଅକ ଘାଡ଼ିରେ ଜେତାଏ କାକ କାମି ଦାଡ଼ିୟାଃ ଏନ୍ଲେକାନ୍ ନିଦା ହିଜୁଃତାନା ।
5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
୫ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଅତେଦିଶୁମ୍ରେ ତାଇନ୍ ଜାକେଦ୍ ଅତେଦିଶୁମ୍ରେନ୍ ମାର୍ସାଲ୍ ତାନିଙ୍ଗ୍ ।”
6 When he had said this, he spat on the ground, made mud with the saliva, anointed the blind man’s eyes with the mud,
୬ନେୟାଁ କାଜିକେଦ୍ତେ ୟୀଶୁ ଅତେରେ ବେଏକ୍କେଦାଏ ଆଡଃ ଏନ୍ ବେଏକ୍ହାସାକେ ଲସଦ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ଏନ୍ ହଡ଼ରାଃ ମେଦ୍ରେ ଗସଃକେଦାଏ, ଆଡଃ ଇନିଃକେ ମେତାଇୟାଏ,
7 and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means “Sent”). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.
୭“ଜୁ ସେନଃମେ ଆଡଃ ‘ଶିଲୋହ’ ନୁତୁମ୍ ବାନ୍ଦାରେ ଆବୁଙ୍ଗ୍ଅଃମେ ।” ଇନିଃ ସେନଃୟାନ୍ତେ ଆବୁଙ୍ଗ୍ୟାନାଏ ଆଡଃ ନେନେଲ୍ତାନ୍ଲଃ ଅଡ଼ାଃତେ ହିଜୁଃୟାନାଏ ।
8 Therefore the neighbors and those who saw that he was blind before said, “Isn’t this he who sat and begged?”
୮ଏନାତେ ହପର୍ଜାପାଃରେନ୍କ ଆଡଃ ଅକନ୍କ ଇନିଃକେ ସିଦା କଏଁତାନ୍ ନେଲାକାଇକ, କାଜିକେଦାଃକ “ଦୁବ୍କେଦ୍ତେ କଏଁତାନ୍ ତାଇକେନ୍ନିଃ ଚିୟାଃ ନିଃଗି ନାହାଲିଃ?”
9 Others were saying, “It is he.” Still others were saying, “He looks like him.” He said, “I am he.”
୯ଚିମିନ୍କ କାଜିକେଦା, “ନିଃଗି ତାନିଃ” ଆଡଃ ଏଟାଃକ କାଜିକେଦା, “ବାନଃ ନିଃ ଇନିଃଲେକାନିଃ ତାନିଃ ।” ଏନାତେ ଇନିଃ ଆଇଃକ୍ଗି କାଜିକେଦାଏ, “ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଇନିଃଗି ତାନିଙ୍ଗ୍ ।”
10 They therefore were asking him, “How were your eyes opened?”
୧୦ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନ୍କୁ ଇନିଃକେ କୁଲିକିୟାଃକ, “ଚିଲ୍କାତେ ନାହାଁଃ ଆମ୍ ନେଲ୍ଦାଡ଼ିତାନାମ୍?”
11 He answered, “A man called Jesus made mud, anointed my eyes, and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went away and washed, and I received sight.”
୧୧ଇନିଃ କାଜିରୁହାଡ଼ାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଏନ୍ ୟୀଶୁ ନୁତୁମ୍ ହଡ଼ ବେଏକ୍ହାସାକେ ଲସଦ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ଆଇଁୟାଃ ମେଦ୍ରେ ଗସଃକେଦାଏ ଆଡଃ ଶିଲୋହରେୟାଃ ବାନ୍ଦାତେ ସେନ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ଆବୁଙ୍ଗ୍ଅଃମେ ମେତାଦିୟାଁଏ । ଏନ୍ତେ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ସେନ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ଆବୁଙ୍ଗ୍ୟାନ୍ ତର୍ସା ନେଲ୍ ଦାଡ଼ିକେଦାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ।”
12 Then they asked him, “Where is he?” He said, “I don’t know.”
୧୨ଇନ୍କୁ ଇନିଃକେ କୁଲିକିୟାଃକ, “ଇନିଃ କତାଃରିୟା?” ଇନିଃ ମେତାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାରିୟାଃ ।”
13 They brought him who had been blind to the Pharisees.
୧୩ଏନ୍ତେ ଜାନାମ୍ଏତେ କାଣାଁତାଇକେନ୍ ହଡ଼କେ ଇନ୍କୁ ଫାରୁଶୀକତାଃତେ ଇଦିକିୟାଃକ ।
14 It was a Sabbath when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.
୧୪ୟୀଶୁ ଅକନ୍ ହୁଲାଙ୍ଗ୍ ହାସା ଲସଦ୍କେଦ୍ତେ କାଣାଁ ହଡ଼ରାଃ ମେଦ୍ ବୁଗିକାଇତାଇକେନାଏ, ଏନା ରୁଡ଼ୁନ୍ ହୁଲାଙ୍ଗ୍ ତାଇକେନା ।
15 Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. He said to them, “He put mud on my eyes, I washed, and I see.”
୧୫ଏନାମେନ୍ତେ ଇନିଃ ଚିଲ୍କାତେ ନେଲ୍ ଦାଡ଼ିକେନାଏ, ଏନା ଫାରୁଶୀକ ଇନିଃକେ ଆଡଃମିସା କୁଲିକିୟାଃକ । ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନିଃ ଇନ୍କୁକେ କାଜିୟାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଇନିଃ ଆଇଁୟାଃ ମେଦ୍ରେ ଲସଦ୍ ହାସାକେ ଗସଃକେଦାଏ ଆଡଃ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆବୁଙ୍ଗ୍ୟାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଏନ୍ତେ ନାହାଁଃ ନେଲ୍ ଦାଡ଼ିତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ।”
16 Some therefore of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, because he doesn’t keep the Sabbath.” Others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” So there was division among them.
୧୬ଏନ୍ତେ ଫାରୁଶୀକଏତେ ଚିମିନ୍କ କାଜିକେଦା, “ନେୟାଁ କାମିକାଦ୍ ହଡ଼ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ସାଃଏତେ ନାହାଁଲିଃ, ଚିୟାଃଚି ଇନିଃଦ ରୁଡ଼ୁନ୍ ହୁଲାଙ୍ଗ୍କେ କାଏ ମାନାତିଙ୍ଗ୍ତାନା ।” ଆଡଃ ଏଟାଃକ କାଜିକେଦା, “ପାପିହଡ଼ ଚିଲ୍କାତେ ନେ ଲେକାନ୍ ପେଡ଼େୟାନ୍ କାମିକ କାମିଦାଡ଼ିୟାଏ?” ଏନ୍ତେ ଆକଆଃ ଥାଲାରେ ବିପିଙ୍ଗାଅୟାନାକ ।
17 Therefore they asked the blind man again, “What do you say about him, because he opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”
୧୭ଏନାମେନ୍ତେ ଫାରୁଶୀକ ଏନ୍ ହଡ଼କେ ଆଡଃମିସା କୁଲିକିୟାଃକ, “ଆମାଃ ମେଦ୍ ବୁଗିକେଦ୍ମେୟାଏ ଇନିୟାଃ ବିଷାଏରେ ଆମ୍ ଚିନାଃମ୍ ମେନେତାନା?” ଇନିଃ ମେତାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଇନିଃ ମିଆଁଦ୍ ନାବୀ ତାନିଃ ।”
18 The Jews therefore didn’t believe concerning him, that he had been blind and had received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight,
୧୮ଇନିଃ କାଣାଁ ତାଇକେନାଏ ଆଡଃ ନାହାଁଃ ନେଲ୍ ଦାଡ଼ିକେଦାଏ, ଏନ୍ ମେଦ୍ ବୁଗିୟାକାନ୍ ହଡ଼ଆଃ ଏଙ୍ଗା ଆପୁକିନ୍କେ ଆଉରି କୁଲିକିନ୍ ଜାକେଦ୍ ଯିହୁଦୀକଆଃ ହାକିମ୍କ କାକ ପାତିୟାର୍କେଦାଃ ।
19 and asked them, “Is this your son, whom you say was born blind? How then does he now see?”
୧୯ଆଡଃ ଇନ୍କୁ ଇନ୍କିନ୍କେ କୁଲିକେଦ୍କିନାକ, “ମେଦ୍ କାଣାଁକେଦ୍ତେ ଜାନାମାକାନ୍ ହନ୍ ତାବେନାଃ ନିଃଗି ତାନିଃଚି? ଚିଲ୍କାତେ ନାହାଁଃ ଇନିଃ ନେଲ୍ ଦାଡ଼ିତାନାଏ?”
20 His parents answered them, “We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind;
୨୦ଇନିୟାଃ ଏଙ୍ଗାଆପୁକିନ୍ ମେତାଦ୍କଆକିନ୍, “ଇନିଃ ଆଲିଙ୍ଗ୍ୟାଁଃ ହନ୍ ତାନିଃ ଆଡଃ ମେଦ୍ କାଣାଁକେଦ୍ତେ ଜାନାମ୍କାନ୍ ତାଇକେନାଏ ନେୟାଁଲିଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାରିକାଦା,
21 but how he now sees, we don’t know; or who opened his eyes, we don’t know. He is of age. Ask him. He will speak for himself.”
୨୧ମେନ୍ଦ ଇନିଃ ଚିଲ୍କାତେ ନାହାଁଃ ନେଲ୍ ଦାଡ଼ିତାନାଏ ଏନା କାଲିଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାରିୟାଃ, ଚାଏ ଅକଏ ଇନିୟାଃ ମେଦ୍ ବୁଗିକିୟାଏ ଏନାହ କାଲିଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାରିୟାଃ । ଇନିଃକେ କୁଲିପେ, ଇନିଃଦ ସେୟାନାନ୍ଗିୟାଏ, ଆୟାଃ କାଜି ଆଇଃକ୍ଗି କାଜିୟାଏ ।”
22 His parents said these things because they feared the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if any man would confess him as Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.
୨୨ଇନିୟାଃ ଏଙ୍ଗାଆପୁକିନ୍ ଯିହୁଦୀକଆଃ ହାକିମ୍କଆଃ ବରତେ ନେ ସବେନାଃକିନ୍ କାଜିକେଦା, ଚିୟାଃଚି ଜେତାଏ ୟୀଶୁକେ ମାସି ତାନିଃ ମେନ୍ତେ ମାନାତିଙ୍ଗ୍ରେଦ ଇନିଃ ସାମାଜ୍ଅଡ଼ାଃଏତେ ଆତମଃଆଏ ମେନ୍ତେ ଯିହୁଦୀକ ଆକ ଆକରେକ ରୋଜୋଟକାଦ୍ ତାଇକେନାକ ।
23 Therefore his parents said, “He is of age. Ask him.”
୨୩ଏନାମେନ୍ତେ ଇନିୟାଃ ଏଙ୍ଗାଆପୁକିନ୍ କାଜିୟାଦ୍କଆକିନ୍, “ଇନିଃ ସେୟାନାନ୍ଗିୟାଏ; ଇନିଃକେ କୁଲିପେ ।”
24 So they called the man who was blind a second time, and said to him, “Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.”
୨୪ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନ୍କୁ ଏନ୍ ମେଦ୍ କାଣାଁକାନ୍ ହଡ଼କେ ଆଡଃମିସା କେଡ଼ାକେଦ୍ତେ କାଜିକିୟାଃକ, ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ଆୟାର୍ରେ କିରିୟାକେଦ୍ତେ ସାର୍ତି କାଜିମେ, “ଆଲେ ସାରିତାନାଲେ ଅକ ହଡ଼ ଆମ୍କେ ନେନେଲ୍ ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ପେଡ଼େଃ ଏମାକାଦ୍ମେୟାଁଏ, ଇନିଃ ପାପିତାନିଃ ।”
25 He therefore answered, “I don’t know if he is a sinner. One thing I do know: that though I was blind, now I see.”
୨୫ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନିଃ କାଜିରୁହାଡ଼ାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଇନିଃ ପାପିହଡ଼ ତାନିଃ ଚାଏ ନାହାଁଲିଃ ଏନା କାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାରିୟାଃ? ମିଆଁଦ୍ କାଜି ସାରିତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍, ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଣାଁ ତାଇକେନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍, ଆଡଃ ନାହାଁଃ ନେଲ୍ ଦାଡ଼ିତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ।”
26 They said to him again, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?”
୨୬ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନ୍କୁ ଇନିଃକେ ଆଡଃଗି କୁଲିକିୟାଃକ, “ଇନିଃ ଚିକ୍ନାଃ ଚିକାକେଦ୍ମେୟାଏ? ଆଡଃ ଚିଲ୍କାତେ କାଣାଁକାନ୍ ମେଦ୍ତାମାଃ ବୁଗିକେଦ୍ମେୟାଏ?”
27 He answered them, “I told you already, and you didn’t listen. Why do you want to hear it again? You don’t also want to become his disciples, do you?”
୨୭ଇନିଃ ଇନ୍କୁକେ ମେତାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ସିଦାରେ ଆପେକେ କାଜିୟାଦ୍ପେୟାଇଙ୍ଗ୍, ଆଡଃ ଆପେ କାପେ ଆୟୁମ୍କେଦାଃ, ଚିନାଃ ମେନ୍ତେ ଆଡଃଗି ଆୟୁମ୍ ସାନାଙ୍ଗ୍ତାନାପେ? ଚିୟାଃ ଆପେୟଚି ଇନିୟାଃ ଚେଲା ବାଇୟଃ ସାନାଙ୍ଗ୍ତାନାପେ?”
28 They insulted him and said, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.
୨୮ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନ୍କୁ ଇନିଃକେ ସାର୍ପାଅକେଦ୍ତେ କାଜିକିୟାଃକ, “ଆମ୍ ଇନିୟାଃ ଚେଲା ତାନ୍ମେ ମେନ୍ଦ ଆଲେ ମୁଶାରାଃ ଚେଲାକ ତାନ୍ଲେ ।
29 We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we don’t know where he comes from.”
୨୯ମୁଶାଲଃ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ ଜାଗାର୍ତାନ୍ ତାଇକେନାଏ ନେୟାଁଲେ ସାରିତାନା ମେନ୍ଦ ନିଃ କତାଃଏତେ ହିଜୁଃକାନାଏ, ଏନା କାଲେ ସାରିୟାଃ ।”
30 The man answered them, “How amazing! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes.
୩୦ଏନ୍ ହଡ଼ ଇନ୍କୁକେ କାଜିରୁହାଡ଼ାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଇନିଃ କତାଃଏତେ ହିଜୁଃକାନାଏ ଏନା କାପେ ସାରିୟାଃ ଆଡଃ ଇନିଃ ଆଇଁୟାଃ ମେଦ୍ ବୁଗିକେଦିୟାଁଏ, ନେୟାଁଦ ଆକ୍ଦାନ୍ଦାଅ କାଜିତାନାଃ ।
31 We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, he listens to him.
୩୧ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ ପାପିକଆଃ ବିନ୍ତି କାଏ ଆୟୁମାଃ, ନେୟାଁବୁ ସାରିତାନା, ମେନ୍ଦ ଜେତାଏ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍କେ ସୁସାରିରେଦ ଆଡଃ ଆୟାଃ ମନେଲେକାତେ ସେସେନ୍ରେଦ ଇନିୟାଃ ବିନ୍ତି ଆୟୁମେୟାଏ ।
32 Since the world began it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of someone born blind. (aiōn g165)
୩୨ଅତେଦିଶୁମ୍ରେୟାଃ ମୁନୁଏତେ ଜେତାଏ ହଡ଼ ଜାନାମ୍କାଣାଁକେ ବୁଗିତେୟାଃ, ଚିଉଲାହ କା ଆୟୁମ୍କାନା । (aiōn g165)
33 If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”
୩୩ନେ ହଡ଼ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ତାଃଏତେ କାଏ ହିଜୁଃକାନ୍ରେଦ ଚିଉଲାହ ଜେତ୍ନାଃ କାଏ କାମି ରିକାଦାଡ଼ିତେୟାଃ ।”
34 They answered him, “You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us?” Then they threw him out.
୩୪ଇନ୍କୁ ଇନିଃକେ କାଜିରୁହାଡ଼୍କିୟାଃକ, “ଆମ୍ଦ ପାପ୍ରେ ଜାନାମ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ପାପ୍ରେ ମେନାମେଆ ଆଡଃ ଆମ୍ଚି ଆଲେକେ ଇତୁ ସାନାଙ୍ଗ୍ତାନାମ୍?” ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନ୍କୁ ଇନିଃକେ ସାମାଜ୍ଅଡ଼ାଃଏତେ ବାହାରି ଅଡଙ୍ଗ୍କିୟାଃକ ।
35 Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and finding him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of God?”
୩୫ଇନ୍କୁ ଇନିଃକେ ସାମାଜ୍ଅଡ଼ାଃଏତେ ବାହାରି ଅଡଙ୍ଗ୍କିୟାଃକ, ନେୟାଁ ୟୀଶୁ ଆୟୁମ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ଇନିଃକେ ନେଲ୍ନାମ୍ତାଇଲଃ କୁଲିକିୟାଏ, “ଚିୟାଃ ଆମ୍ ମାନୱାହନ୍ତାଃରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସେତାନାମ୍?”
36 He answered, “Who is he, Lord, that I may believe in him?”
୩୬ଇନିଃ କାଜିରୁହାଡ଼୍କିୟାଏ, “ହେ ପ୍ରାଭୁ, ଇନିଃ ଅକଏ ତାନିଃ କାଜିମେ, ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ଦ ଇନିଃରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସେଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ।”
37 Jesus said to him, “You have both seen him, and it is he who speaks with you.”
୩୭ୟୀଶୁ ଇନିଃକେ କାଜିକିୟାଏ, “ଆମ୍ ଇନିଃକେ ନେଲାକାଇୟାମ୍, ଆଡଃ ଇନିଃ ଆମାଃଲଃ ଜାଗାର୍ତାନ୍ନିଃଗି ତାନିଃ ।”
38 He said, “Lord, I believe!” and he worshiped him.
୩୮ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନିଃ “ହେ ପ୍ରାଭୁ, ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ୍ ତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍” ମେତାଇୟାଏ ଆଡଃ ଇନିଃକେ ଅମ୍ବାଃକେଦ୍ତେ ଜହାର୍କିୟାଏ ।
39 Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, that those who don’t see may see; and that those who see may become blind.”
୩୯ୟୀଶୁ ମେତାଇୟାଏ, “ହଡ଼କଆଃ ବିଚାର୍ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଅତେଦିଶୁମ୍ତେ ହିଜୁଆକାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ।” କା ନେଲ୍ତାନ୍କ ନେଲେୟାକ ଆଡଃ ନେନେଲ୍ତାନ୍କ କାଣାଁୱାଃ ।
40 Those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?”
୪୦ଇନିଃଲଃ ତାଇକେନ୍ ଫାରୁଶୀକ ନେୟାଁ ଆୟୁମ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ମେନ୍କେଦାଃକ, “ଚିୟାଃ ଆଲେୟଚି କାଣାଁକାନାଲେ?”
41 Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.
୪୧ୟୀଶୁ ଇନ୍କୁକେ କାଜିୟାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଆପେ କାଣାଁକାନ୍ରେଦ ଆପେୟାଃ ପାପ୍ କା ତାଇନ୍ତେୟାଃ, ମେନ୍ଦ ଆଲେ ନେଲେତାନାଲେ, ନେୟାଁ ନାହାଁଃ କାଜିତାନାପେ ଏନାମେନ୍ତେ, ଆପେୟାଃ ପାପ୍ ତାଇନଃତାନା ।”
