John 6
1 After these things, Jesus went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee, which is also called the Sea of Tiberias.
ತತಃ ಪರಂ ಯೀಶು ರ್ಗಾಲೀಲ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶೀಯಸ್ಯ ತಿವಿರಿಯಾನಾಮ್ನಃ ಸಿನ್ಧೋಃ ಪಾರಂ ಗತವಾನ್|
2 A great multitude followed him, because they saw his signs which he did on those who were sick.
ತತೋ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಮಲ್ಲೋಕಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯಕರಣರೂಪಾಣಿ ತಸ್ಯಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯ್ಯಾಣಿ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮಾಣಿ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ಬಹವೋ ಜನಾಸ್ತತ್ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ ಅಗಚ್ಛನ್|
3 Jesus went up into the mountain, and he sat there with his disciples.
ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಃ ಪರ್ವ್ವತಮಾರುಹ್ಯ ತತ್ರ ಶಿಷ್ಯೈಃ ಸಾಕಮ್|
4 Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was at hand.
ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸಮಯ ನಿಸ್ತಾರೋತ್ಸವನಾಮ್ನಿ ಯಿಹೂದೀಯಾನಾಮ ಉತ್ಸವ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತೇ
5 Jesus therefore, lifting up his eyes and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?”
ಯೀಶು ರ್ನೇತ್ರೇ ಉತ್ತೋಲ್ಯ ಬಹುಲೋಕಾನ್ ಸ್ವಸಮೀಪಾಗತಾನ್ ವಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ಫಿಲಿಪಂ ಪೃಷ್ಟವಾನ್ ಏತೇಷಾಂ ಭೋಜನಾಯ ಭೋಜದ್ರವ್ಯಾಣಿ ವಯಂ ಕುತ್ರ ಕ್ರೇತುಂ ಶಕ್ರುಮಃ?
6 He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.
ವಾಕ್ಯಮಿದಂ ತಸ್ಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾರ್ಥಮ್ ಅವಾದೀತ್ ಕಿನ್ತು ಯತ್ ಕರಿಷ್ಯತಿ ತತ್ ಸ್ವಯಮ್ ಅಜಾನಾತ್|
7 Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may receive a little.”
ಫಿಲಿಪಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವೋಚತ್ ಏತೇಷಾಮ್ ಏಕೈಕೋ ಯದ್ಯಲ್ಪಮ್ ಅಲ್ಪಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ನೋತಿ ತರ್ಹಿ ಮುದ್ರಾಪಾದದ್ವಿಶತೇನ ಕ್ರೀತಪೂಪಾ ಅಪಿ ನ್ಯೂನಾ ಭವಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ|
8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him,
ಶಿಮೋನ್ ಪಿತರಸ್ಯ ಭ್ರಾತಾ ಆನ್ದ್ರಿಯಾಖ್ಯಃ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾಣಾಮೇಕೋ ವ್ಯಾಹೃತವಾನ್
9 “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these among so many?”
ಅತ್ರ ಕಸ್ಯಚಿದ್ ಬಾಲಕಸ್ಯ ಸಮೀಪೇ ಪಞ್ಚ ಯಾವಪೂಪಾಃ ಕ್ಷುದ್ರಮತ್ಸ್ಯದ್ವಯಞ್ಚ ಸನ್ತಿ ಕಿನ್ತು ಲೋಕಾನಾಂ ಏತಾವಾತಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ತೈಃ ಕಿಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ?
10 Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in that place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ ಯೀಶುರವದತ್ ಲೋಕಾನುಪವೇಶಯತ ತತ್ರ ಬಹುಯವಸಸತ್ತ್ವಾತ್ ಪಞ್ಚಸಹಸ್ತ್ರೇಭ್ಯೋ ನ್ಯೂನಾ ಅಧಿಕಾ ವಾ ಪುರುಷಾ ಭೂಮ್ಯಾಮ್ ಉಪಾವಿಶನ್|
11 Jesus took the loaves, and having given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to those who were sitting down, likewise also of the fish as much as they desired.
ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಾನ್ ಪೂಪಾನಾದಾಯ ಈಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ಗುಣಾನ್ ಕೀರ್ತ್ತಯಿತ್ವಾ ಶಿಷ್ಯೇಷು ಸಮಾರ್ಪಯತ್ ತತಸ್ತೇ ತೇಭ್ಯ ಉಪವಿಷ್ಟಲೋಕೇಭ್ಯಃ ಪೂಪಾನ್ ಯಥೇಷ್ಟಮತ್ಸ್ಯಞ್ಚ ಪ್ರಾದುಃ|
12 When they were filled, he said to his disciples, “Gather up the broken pieces which are left over, that nothing be lost.”
ತೇಷು ತೃಪ್ತೇಷು ಸ ತಾನವೋಚದ್ ಏತೇಷಾಂ ಕಿಞ್ಚಿದಪಿ ಯಥಾ ನಾಪಚೀಯತೇ ತಥಾ ಸರ್ವ್ವಾಣ್ಯವಶಿಷ್ಟಾನಿ ಸಂಗೃಹ್ಲೀತ|
13 So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten.
ತತಃ ಸರ್ವ್ವೇಷಾಂ ಭೋಜನಾತ್ ಪರಂ ತೇ ತೇಷಾಂ ಪಞ್ಚಾನಾಂ ಯಾವಪೂಪಾನಾಂ ಅವಶಿಷ್ಟಾನ್ಯಖಿಲಾನಿ ಸಂಗೃಹ್ಯ ದ್ವಾದಶಡಲ್ಲಕಾನ್ ಅಪೂರಯನ್|
14 When therefore the people saw the sign which Jesus did, they said, “This is truly the prophet who comes into the world.”
ಅಪರಂ ಯೀಶೋರೇತಾದೃಶೀಮ್ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯಾಂ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ಲೋಕಾ ಮಿಥೋ ವಕ್ತುಮಾರೇಭಿರೇ ಜಗತಿ ಯಸ್ಯಾಗಮನಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ ಸ ಏವಾಯಮ್ ಅವಶ್ಯಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಕ್ತ್ತಾ|
15 Jesus therefore, perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain by himself.
ಅತಏವ ಲೋಕಾ ಆಗತ್ಯ ತಮಾಕ್ರಮ್ಯ ರಾಜಾನಂ ಕರಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತೇಷಾಮ್ ಈದೃಶಂ ಮಾನಸಂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ಪುನಶ್ಚ ಪರ್ವ್ವತಮ್ ಏಕಾಕೀ ಗತವಾನ್|
16 When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea.
ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತೇ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ಜಲಧಿತಟಂ ವ್ರಜಿತ್ವಾ ನಾವಮಾರುಹ್ಯ ನಗರದಿಶಿ ಸಿನ್ಧೌ ವಾಹಯಿತ್ವಾಗಮನ್|
17 They entered into the boat, and were going over the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not come to them.
ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸಮಯೇ ತಿಮಿರ ಉಪಾತಿಷ್ಠತ್ ಕಿನ್ತು ಯೀಷುಸ್ತೇಷಾಂ ಸಮೀಪಂ ನಾಗಚ್ಛತ್|
18 The sea was tossed by a great wind blowing.
ತದಾ ಪ್ರಬಲಪವನವಹನಾತ್ ಸಾಗರೇ ಮಹಾತರಙ್ಗೋ ಭವಿತುಮ್ ಆರೇಭೇ|
19 When therefore they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were afraid.
ತತಸ್ತೇ ವಾಹಯಿತ್ವಾ ದ್ವಿತ್ರಾನ್ ಕ್ರೋಶಾನ್ ಗತಾಃ ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ ಯೀಶುಂ ಜಲಧೇರುಪರಿ ಪದ್ಭ್ಯಾಂ ವ್ರಜನ್ತಂ ನೌಕಾನ್ತಿಕಮ್ ಆಗಚ್ಛನ್ತಂ ವಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ತ್ರಾಸಯುಕ್ತಾ ಅಭವನ್
20 But he said to them, “It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
ಕಿನ್ತು ಸ ತಾನುಕ್ತ್ತವಾನ್ ಅಯಮಹಂ ಮಾ ಭೈಷ್ಟ|
21 They were willing therefore to receive him into the boat. Immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.
ತದಾ ತೇ ತಂ ಸ್ವೈರಂ ನಾವಿ ಗೃಹೀತವನ್ತಃ ತದಾ ತತ್ಕ್ಷಣಾದ್ ಉದ್ದಿಷ್ಟಸ್ಥಾನೇ ನೌರುಪಾಸ್ಥಾತ್|
22 On the next day, the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except the one in which his disciples had embarked, and that Jesus hadn’t entered with his disciples into the boat, but his disciples had gone away alone.
ಯಯಾ ನಾವಾ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ಅಗಚ್ಛನ್ ತದನ್ಯಾ ಕಾಪಿ ನೌಕಾ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸ್ಥಾನೇ ನಾಸೀತ್ ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಃ ಶಿಷ್ಯೈಃ ಸಾಕಂ ನಾಗಮತ್ ಕೇವಲಾಃ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ಅಗಮನ್ ಏತತ್ ಪಾರಸ್ಥಾ ಲೋಕಾ ಜ್ಞಾತವನ್ತಃ|
23 However, boats from Tiberias came near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.
ಕಿನ್ತು ತತಃ ಪರಂ ಪ್ರಭು ರ್ಯತ್ರ ಈಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ಗುಣಾನ್ ಅನುಕೀರ್ತ್ತ್ಯ ಲೋಕಾನ್ ಪೂಪಾನ್ ಅಭೋಜಯತ್ ತತ್ಸ್ಥಾನಸ್ಯ ಸಮೀಪಸ್ಥತಿವಿರಿಯಾಯಾ ಅಪರಾಸ್ತರಣಯ ಆಗಮನ್|
24 When the multitude therefore saw that Jesus wasn’t there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.
ಯೀಶುಸ್ತತ್ರ ನಾಸ್ತಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ಅಪಿ ತತ್ರ ನಾ ಸನ್ತಿ ಲೋಕಾ ಇತಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ಯೀಶುಂ ಗವೇಷಯಿತುಂ ತರಣಿಭಿಃ ಕಫರ್ನಾಹೂಮ್ ಪುರಂ ಗತಾಃ|
25 When they found him on the other side of the sea, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?”
ತತಸ್ತೇ ಸರಿತ್ಪತೇಃ ಪಾರೇ ತಂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾವೋಚನ್ ಹೇ ಗುರೋ ಭವಾನ್ ಅತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾನೇ ಕದಾಗಮತ್?
26 Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಾನ್ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವಾದೀದ್ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನಹಂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತರಂ ವದಾಮಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ್ಯಕರ್ಮ್ಮದರ್ಶನಾದ್ಧೇತೋ ರ್ನ ಕಿನ್ತು ಪೂಪಭೋಜನಾತ್ ತೇನ ತೃಪ್ತತ್ವಾಞ್ಚ ಮಾಂ ಗವೇಷಯಥ|
27 Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.” (aiōnios g166)
ಕ್ಷಯಣೀಯಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಾರ್ಥಂ ಮಾ ಶ್ರಾಮಿಷ್ಟ ಕಿನ್ತ್ವನ್ತಾಯುರ್ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಾರ್ಥಂ ಶ್ರಾಮ್ಯತ, ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ತಾದೃಶಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಮನುಜಪುತ್ರೋ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭ್ಯಂ ದಾಸ್ಯತಿ; ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ತಾತ ಈಶ್ವರಃ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಂ ಪ್ರಾದಾತ್| (aiōnios g166)
28 They said therefore to him, “What must we do, that we may work the works of God?”
ತದಾ ತೇಽಪೃಚ್ಛನ್ ಈಶ್ವರಾಭಿಮತಂ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತ್ತುಮ್ ಅಸ್ಮಾಭಿಃ ಕಿಂ ಕರ್ತ್ತವ್ಯಂ?
29 Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
ತತೋ ಯೀಶುರವದದ್ ಈಶ್ವರೋ ಯಂ ಪ್ರೈರಯತ್ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ವಿಶ್ವಸನಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರಾಭಿಮತಂ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮ|
30 They said therefore to him, “What then do you do for a sign, that we may see and believe you? What work do you do?
ತದಾ ತೇ ವ್ಯಾಹರನ್ ಭವತಾ ಕಿಂ ಲಕ್ಷಣಂ ದರ್ಶಿತಂ ಯದ್ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ಭವತಿ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿಷ್ಯಾಮಃ? ತ್ವಯಾ ಕಿಂ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮ ಕೃತಂ?
31 Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.’”
ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಾನ್ತರೇ ಮಾನ್ನಾಂ ಭೋಕ್ತ್ತುಂ ಪ್ರಾಪುಃ ಯಥಾ ಲಿಪಿರಾಸ್ತೇ| ಸ್ವರ್ಗೀಯಾಣಿ ತು ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಾಣಿ ಪ್ರದದೌ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಃ|
32 Jesus therefore said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, it wasn’t Moses who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುರವದದ್ ಅಹಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನತಿಯಥಾರ್ಥಂ ವದಾಮಿ ಮೂಸಾ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭ್ಯಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗೀಯಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ನಾದಾತ್ ಕಿನ್ತು ಮಮ ಪಿತಾ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭ್ಯಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗೀಯಂ ಪರಮಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ದದಾತಿ|
33 For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”
ಯಃ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದವರುಹ್ಯ ಜಗತೇ ಜೀವನಂ ದದಾತಿ ಸ ಈಶ್ವರದತ್ತಭಕ್ಷ್ಯರೂಪಃ|
34 They said therefore to him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”
ತದಾ ತೇ ಪ್ರಾವೋಚನ್ ಹೇ ಪ್ರಭೋ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಿದಂ ನಿತ್ಯಮಸ್ಮಭ್ಯಂ ದದಾತು|
35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
ಯೀಶುರವದದ್ ಅಹಮೇವ ಜೀವನರೂಪಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಮಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಮ್ ಆಗಚ್ಛತಿ ಸ ಜಾತು ಕ್ಷುಧಾರ್ತ್ತೋ ನ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ, ತಥಾ ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಮಾಂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇತಿ ಸ ಜಾತು ತೃಷಾರ್ತ್ತೋ ನ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ|
36 But I told you that you have seen me, and yet you don’t believe.
ಮಾಂ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾಪಿ ಯೂಯಂ ನ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿಥ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನಹಮ್ ಇತ್ಯವೋಚಂ|
37 All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.
ಪಿತಾ ಮಹ್ಯಂ ಯಾವತೋ ಲೋಕಾನದದಾತ್ ತೇ ಸರ್ವ್ವ ಏವ ಮಮಾನ್ತಿಕಮ್ ಆಗಮಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿಚ್ಚ ಮಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಮ್ ಆಯಾಸ್ಯತಿ ತಂ ಕೇನಾಪಿ ಪ್ರಕಾರೇಣ ನ ದೂರೀಕರಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ|
38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.
ನಿಜಾಭಿಮತಂ ಸಾಧಯಿತುಂ ನ ಹಿ ಕಿನ್ತು ಪ್ರೇರಯಿತುರಭಿಮತಂ ಸಾಧಯಿತುಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದ್ ಆಗತೋಸ್ಮಿ|
39 This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.
ಸ ಯಾನ್ ಯಾನ್ ಲೋಕಾನ್ ಮಹ್ಯಮದದಾತ್ ತೇಷಾಮೇಕಮಪಿ ನ ಹಾರಯಿತ್ವಾ ಶೇಷದಿನೇ ಸರ್ವ್ವಾನಹಮ್ ಉತ್ಥಾಪಯಾಮಿ ಇದಂ ಮತ್ಪ್ರೇರಯಿತುಃ ಪಿತುರಭಿಮತಂ|
40 This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (aiōnios g166)
ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿನ್ ಮಾನವಸುತಂ ವಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿತಿ ಸ ಶೇಷದಿನೇ ಮಯೋತ್ಥಾಪಿತಃ ಸನ್ ಅನನ್ತಾಯುಃ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಸ್ಯತಿ ಇತಿ ಮತ್ಪ್ರೇರಕಸ್ಯಾಭಿಮತಂ| (aiōnios g166)
41 The Jews therefore murmured concerning him, because he said, “I am the bread which came down out of heaven.”
ತದಾ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದ್ ಯದ್ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಮ್ ಅವಾರೋಹತ್ ತದ್ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಮ್ ಅಹಮೇವ ಯಿಹೂದೀಯಲೋಕಾಸ್ತಸ್ಯೈತದ್ ವಾಕ್ಯೇ ವಿವದಮಾನಾ ವಕ್ತ್ತುಮಾರೇಭಿರೇ
42 They said, “Isn’t this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say, ‘I have come down out of heaven’?”
ಯೂಷಫಃ ಪುತ್ರೋ ಯೀಶು ರ್ಯಸ್ಯ ಮಾತಾಪಿತರೌ ವಯಂ ಜಾನೀಮ ಏಷ ಕಿಂ ಸಏವ ನ? ತರ್ಹಿ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದ್ ಅವಾರೋಹಮ್ ಇತಿ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಕಥಂ ವಕ್ತ್ತಿ?
43 Therefore Jesus answered them, “Don’t murmur among yourselves.
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಾನ್ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವದತ್ ಪರಸ್ಪರಂ ಮಾ ವಿವದಧ್ವಂ
44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up in the last day.
ಮತ್ಪ್ರೇರಕೇಣ ಪಿತ್ರಾ ನಾಕೃಷ್ಟಃ ಕೋಪಿ ಜನೋ ಮಮಾನ್ತಿಕಮ್ ಆಯಾತುಂ ನ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ ಕಿನ್ತ್ವಾಗತಂ ಜನಂ ಚರಮೇಽಹ್ನಿ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಥಾಪಯಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ|
45 It is written in the prophets, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who hears from the Father and has learned, comes to me.
ತೇ ಸರ್ವ್ವ ಈಶ್ವರೇಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿತಾ ಭವಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಾದಿನಾಂ ಗ್ರನ್ಥೇಷು ಲಿಪಿರಿತ್ಥಮಾಸ್ತೇ ಅತೋ ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿತ್ ಪಿತುಃ ಸಕಾಶಾತ್ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷತೇ ಸ ಏವ ಮಮ ಸಮೀಪಮ್ ಆಗಮಿಷ್ಯತಿ|
46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from God. He has seen the Father.
ಯ ಈಶ್ವರಾದ್ ಅಜಾಯತ ತಂ ವಿನಾ ಕೋಪಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯೋ ಜನಕಂ ನಾದರ್ಶತ್ ಕೇವಲಃ ಸಏವ ತಾತಮ್ ಅದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೀತ್|
ಅಹಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನ್ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತರಂ ವದಾಮಿ ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಮಯಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಂ ಕರೋತಿ ಸೋನನ್ತಾಯುಃ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ನೋತಿ| (aiōnios g166)
48 I am the bread of life.
ಅಹಮೇವ ತಜ್ಜೀವನಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ|
49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died.
ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಾನ್ತರೇ ಮನ್ನಾಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಭೂಕ್ತ್ತಾಪಿ ಮೃತಾಃ
50 This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.
ಕಿನ್ತು ಯದ್ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದಾಗಚ್ಛತ್ ತದ್ ಯದಿ ಕಶ್ಚಿದ್ ಭುಙ್ಕ್ತ್ತೇ ತರ್ಹಿ ಸ ನ ಮ್ರಿಯತೇ|
51 I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” (aiōn g165)
ಯಜ್ಜೀವನಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದಾಗಚ್ಛತ್ ಸೋಹಮೇವ ಇದಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಭುಙ್ಕ್ತ್ತೇ ಸ ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವೀ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ| ಪುನಶ್ಚ ಜಗತೋ ಜೀವನಾರ್ಥಮಹಂ ಯತ್ ಸ್ವಕೀಯಪಿಶಿತಂ ದಾಸ್ಯಾಮಿ ತದೇವ ಮಯಾ ವಿತರಿತಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಮ್| (aiōn g165)
52 The Jews therefore contended with one another, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”
ತಸ್ಮಾದ್ ಯಿಹೂದೀಯಾಃ ಪರಸ್ಪರಂ ವಿವದಮಾನಾ ವಕ್ತ್ತುಮಾರೇಭಿರೇ ಏಷ ಭೋಜನಾರ್ಥಂ ಸ್ವೀಯಂ ಪಲಲಂ ಕಥಮ್ ಅಸ್ಮಭ್ಯಂ ದಾಸ್ಯತಿ?
53 Jesus therefore said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don’t have life in yourselves.
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಾನ್ ಆವೋಚದ್ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನಹಂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತರಂ ವದಾಮಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರಸ್ಯಾಮಿಷೇ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭಿ ರ್ನ ಭುಕ್ತ್ತೇ ತಸ್ಯ ರುಧಿರೇ ಚ ನ ಪೀತೇ ಜೀವನೇನ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಸಮ್ಬನ್ಧೋ ನಾಸ್ತಿ|
54 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios g166)
ಯೋ ಮಮಾಮಿಷಂ ಸ್ವಾದತಿ ಮಮ ಸುಧಿರಞ್ಚ ಪಿವತಿ ಸೋನನ್ತಾಯುಃ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ನೋತಿ ತತಃ ಶೇಷೇಽಹ್ನಿ ತಮಹಮ್ ಉತ್ಥಾಪಯಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ| (aiōnios g166)
55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
ಯತೋ ಮದೀಯಮಾಮಿಷಂ ಪರಮಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ತಥಾ ಮದೀಯಂ ಶೋಣಿತಂ ಪರಮಂ ಪೇಯಂ|
56 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಮದೀಯಂ ಪಲಲಂ ಸ್ವಾದತಿ ಮದೀಯಂ ರುಧಿರಞ್ಚ ಪಿವತಿ ಸ ಮಯಿ ವಸತಿ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ನಹಞ್ಚ ವಸಾಮಿ|
57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.
ಮತ್ಪ್ರೇರಯಿತ್ರಾ ಜೀವತಾ ತಾತೇನ ಯಥಾಹಂ ಜೀವಾಮಿ ತದ್ವದ್ ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿನ್ ಮಾಮತ್ತಿ ಸೋಪಿ ಮಯಾ ಜೀವಿಷ್ಯತಿ|
58 This is the bread which came down out of heaven—not as our fathers ate the manna and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.” (aiōn g165)
ಯದ್ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದಾಗಚ್ಛತ್ ತದಿದಂ ಯನ್ಮಾನ್ನಾಂ ಸ್ವಾದಿತ್ವಾ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪಿತರೋಽಮ್ರಿಯನ್ತ ತಾದೃಶಮ್ ಇದಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ನ ಭವತಿ ಇದಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಯೋ ಭಕ್ಷತಿ ಸ ನಿತ್ಯಂ ಜೀವಿಷ್ಯತಿ| (aiōn g165)
59 He said these things in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
ಯದಾ ಕಫರ್ನಾಹೂಮ್ ಪುರ್ಯ್ಯಾಂ ಭಜನಗೇಹೇ ಉಪಾದಿಶತ್ ತದಾ ಕಥಾ ಏತಾ ಅಕಥಯತ್|
60 Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying! Who can listen to it?”
ತದೇತ್ಥಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ತಸ್ಯ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾಣಾಮ್ ಅನೇಕೇ ಪರಸ್ಪರಮ್ ಅಕಥಯನ್ ಇದಂ ಗಾಢಂ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ವಾಕ್ಯಮೀದೃಶಂ ಕಃ ಶ್ರೋತುಂ ಶಕ್ರುಯಾತ್?
61 But Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble?
ಕಿನ್ತು ಯೀಶುಃ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾಣಾಮ್ ಇತ್ಥಂ ವಿವಾದಂ ಸ್ವಚಿತ್ತೇ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್ ಇದಂ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಕಿಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ವಿಘ್ನಂ ಜನಯತಿ?
62 Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
ಯದಿ ಮನುಜಸುತಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನಮ್ ಊರ್ದ್ವ್ವಂ ಗಚ್ಛನ್ತಂ ಪಶ್ಯಥ ತರ್ಹಿ ಕಿಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ?
63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.
ಆತ್ಮೈವ ಜೀವನದಾಯಕಃ ವಪು ರ್ನಿಷ್ಫಲಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಭ್ಯಮಹಂ ಯಾನಿ ವಚಾಂಸಿ ಕಥಯಾಮಿ ತಾನ್ಯಾತ್ಮಾ ಜೀವನಞ್ಚ|
64 But there are some of you who don’t believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who didn’t believe, and who it was who would betray him.
ಕಿನ್ತು ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಕೇಚನ ಅವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿನಃ ಸನ್ತಿ ಕೇ ಕೇ ನ ವಿಶ್ವಸನ್ತಿ ಕೋ ವಾ ತಂ ಪರಕರೇಷು ಸಮರ್ಪಯಿಷ್ಯತಿ ತಾನ್ ಯೀಶುರಾಪ್ರಥಮಾದ್ ವೇತ್ತಿ|
65 He said, “For this cause I have said to you that no one can come to me, unless it is given to him by my Father.”
ಅಪರಮಪಿ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್ ಅಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಕಾರಣಾದ್ ಅಕಥಯಂ ಪಿತುಃ ಸಕಾಶಾತ್ ಶಕ್ತ್ತಿಮಪ್ರಾಪ್ಯ ಕೋಪಿ ಮಮಾನ್ತಿಕಮ್ ಆಗನ್ತುಂ ನ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ|
66 At this, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.
ತತ್ಕಾಲೇಽನೇಕೇ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ವ್ಯಾಘುಟ್ಯ ತೇನ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಂ ಪುನ ರ್ನಾಗಚ್ಛನ್|
67 Jesus said therefore to the twelve, “You don’t also want to go away, do you?”
ತದಾ ಯೀಶು ರ್ದ್ವಾದಶಶಿಷ್ಯಾನ್ ಉಕ್ತ್ತವಾನ್ ಯೂಯಮಪಿ ಕಿಂ ಯಾಸ್ಯಥ?
68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
ತತಃ ಶಿಮೋನ್ ಪಿತರಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವೋಚತ್ ಹೇ ಪ್ರಭೋ ಕಸ್ಯಾಭ್ಯರ್ಣಂ ಗಮಿಷ್ಯಾಮಃ? (aiōnios g166)
69 We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
ಅನನ್ತಜೀವನದಾಯಿನ್ಯೋ ಯಾಃ ಕಥಾಸ್ತಾಸ್ತವೈವ| ಭವಾನ್ ಅಮರೇಶ್ವರಸ್ಯಾಭಿಷಿಕ್ತ್ತಪುತ್ರ ಇತಿ ವಿಶ್ವಸ್ಯ ನಿಶ್ಚಿತಂ ಜಾನೀಮಃ|
70 Jesus answered them, “Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುರವದತ್ ಕಿಮಹಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ದ್ವಾದಶಜನಾನ್ ಮನೋನೀತಾನ್ ನ ಕೃತವಾನ್? ಕಿನ್ತು ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇಪಿ ಕಶ್ಚಿದೇಕೋ ವಿಘ್ನಕಾರೀ ವಿದ್ಯತೇ|
71 Now he spoke of Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, for it was he who would betray him, being one of the twelve.
ಇಮಾಂ ಕಥಂ ಸ ಶಿಮೋನಃ ಪುತ್ರಮ್ ಈಷ್ಕರೀಯೋತೀಯಂ ಯಿಹೂದಾಮ್ ಉದ್ದಿಶ್ಯ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್ ಯತೋ ದ್ವಾದಶಾನಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಗಣಿತಃ ಸ ತಂ ಪರಕರೇಷು ಸಮರ್ಪಯಿಷ್ಯತಿ|
