Hebrews 13
1 Let brotherly love continue.
Que continúe el amor fraternal.
2 Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.
No os olvidéis de dar hospitalidad a los extraños, pues al hacerlo, algunos han hospedado a los ángeles sin saberlo.
3 Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body.
Acuérdate de los presos, como si estuvieras atado a ellos, y de los maltratados, ya que tú también estás en el cuerpo.
4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
Que el matrimonio sea honrado entre todos, y que el lecho sea incontaminado; pero Dios juzgará a los inmorales y a los adúlteros.
5 Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”
Sed libres del amor al dinero, contentos con lo que tenéis, porque él ha dicho: “No os dejaré en absoluto, ni os abandonaré”.
6 So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
Para que con buen ánimo digamos, “El Señor es mi ayudante. No temeré. ¿Qué puede hacerme el hombre?”
7 Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of God, and considering the results of their conduct, imitate their faith.
Recordad a vuestros líderes, hombres que os hablaron de la palabra de Dios, y considerando los resultados de su conducta, imitad su fe.
Jesucristo es el mismo ayer, hoy y siempre. (aiōn g165)
9 Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.
No os dejéis llevar por enseñanzas diversas y extrañas, pues es bueno que el corazón se establezca por la gracia, no por las comidas, por las que no se beneficiaron los que se ocuparon de esa manera.
10 We have an altar from which those who serve the holy tabernacle have no right to eat.
Tenemos un altar del que no tienen derecho a comer los que sirven al sagrado tabernáculo.
11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp.
Porque los cuerpos de esos animales, cuya sangre es introducida en el lugar santo por el sumo sacerdote como ofrenda por el pecado, son quemados fuera del campamento.
12 Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate.
Por eso también Jesús, para santificar al pueblo con su propia sangre, padeció fuera de la puerta.
13 Let’s therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach.
Salgamos, pues, hacia él fuera del campamento, llevando su vituperio.
14 For we don’t have here an enduring city, but we seek that which is to come.
Porque no tenemos aquí una ciudad duradera, sino que buscamos la que ha de venir.
15 Through him, then, let’s offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name.
Por lo tanto, ofrezcamos continuamente a Dios un sacrificio de alabanza, es decir, el fruto de los labios que proclaman la fidelidad a su nombre.
16 But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Pero no se olviden de hacer el bien y de compartir, porque con tales sacrificios Dios se complace.
17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account, that they may do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you.
Obedezcan a sus jefes y sométanse a ellos, pues velan por sus almas, como quienes han de dar cuenta, para que lo hagan con alegría y no con gemidos, pues eso sería inútil para ustedes.
18 Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.
Ruega por nosotros, pues estamos persuadidos de que tenemos buena conciencia, deseando vivir honradamente en todo.
19 I strongly urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you sooner.
Os ruego encarecidamente que lo hagáis, para que yo me restablezca antes.
20 Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus, (aiōnios g166)
Que el Dios de la paz, que resucitó de entre los muertos al gran pastor de las ovejas con la sangre de un pacto eterno, nuestro Señor Jesús, (aiōnios g166)
21 make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
os haga completos en toda obra buena para que hagáis su voluntad, obrando en vosotros lo que es agradable a sus ojos, por Jesucristo, a quien sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén. (aiōn g165)
22 But I exhort you, brothers, endure the word of exhortation, for I have written to you in few words.
Pero os exhorto, hermanos, a que soportéis la palabra de exhortación, pues os he escrito con pocas palabras.
23 Know that our brother Timothy has been freed, with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you.
Sabed que nuestro hermano Timoteo ha sido liberado, con el cual, si viene pronto, os veré.
24 Greet all of your leaders and all the saints. The Italians greet you.
Saludad a todos vuestros jefes y a todos los santos. Los italianos te saludan.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.
La gracia sea con todos vosotros. Amén.
