Hebrews 13
1 Let brotherly love continue.
兄弟愛を保ちなさい。
2 Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.
よそから来た人を親切にもてなすことを忘れてはいけません。そうすることにより，ある人たちはそれと知らずにみ使いたちをもてなしたのです。
3 Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body.
獄につながれている人たちのことを，彼らと共につながれているようにして覚えておきなさい。また，虐待されている人たちのことを覚えておきなさい。あなた方も肉体でいるからです。
4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
すべての人たちの間で結婚が尊ばれるようにし，寝床が汚されないようにしなさい。神は，淫行の者たちや姦淫を犯す者たちを裁かれるのです。
5 Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”
お金に対する愛から自由になり，自分の持っているもので満足しなさい。「わたしは決してあなたを離れず，決してあなたを見捨てない」と言われているからです。
6 So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
それで，わたしたちは確信をもって次のように言います。 「主はわたしの助け主。わたしは恐れない。人がわたしに何をできようか」。
7 Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of God, and considering the results of their conduct, imitate their faith.
あなた方の指導者たち，あなた方に神の言葉を語った人たちのことを覚えておきなさい。彼らの行ないの結末を注意深く見て，彼らの信仰に倣いなさい。
イエス・キリストは，昨日も，今日も，そして永久に同じ方です。 (aiōn g165)
9 Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.
さまざまな異なった教えによって運び去られてはいけません。心は，食物ではなく，恵みによって強められるのが良いことだからです。食物に気を取られていた人たちは益を得ませんでした。
10 We have an altar from which those who serve the holy tabernacle have no right to eat.
わたしたちには一つの祭壇があります。それは，聖なる幕屋に仕えている人たちはそこから食べる権利のないものです。
11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp.
なぜなら，動物の血は罪のためのささげ物として大祭司によって聖なる場所に持って行かれますが，その体は宿営の外で焼かれるからです。
12 Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate.
そのため，イエスも，ご自分の血によって民を聖化するために，門の外で苦しみを受けられました。
13 Let’s therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach.
ですから，わたしたちは彼の恥辱を担って，宿営の外に出て彼のもとに行こうではありませんか。
14 For we don’t have here an enduring city, but we seek that which is to come.
わたしたちは，ここには永続する都市を持っておらず，来たるべき都市を得ようとしているからです。
15 Through him, then, let’s offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name.
それで，彼を通して，絶えず神に賛美の犠牲を，すなわちそのみ名を告白する唇の実をささげましょう。
16 But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
しかし，善い行ない，そして分け合うことを忘れてはいけません。そのような犠牲こそ，神は喜ばれるからです。
17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account, that they may do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you.
あなた方の指導者たちに従い，また服しなさい。彼らはやがて言い開きをする者として，あなた方の魂のために見張りをしているからです。彼らが，うめき声ではなく喜びをもって，このことを行なえるようにしなさい。そうでないと，あなた方の益になりません。
18 Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.
わたしたちのために祈ってください。わたしたちは，すべてのことにおいて高潔に生活したいと願っており，自分が正しい良心を持っていると確信しているからです。
19 I strongly urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you sooner.
わたしはあなた方がこのことをしてくれるよう特にお願いします。わたしがなるべく早くあなた方のところに帰れるようになるためです。
20 Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus, (aiōnios g166)
それでは，平和の神，すなわち，永遠の契約の血による羊の偉大な牧者であるわたしたちの主イエスを死んだ者たちの中から連れ戻された方が， (aiōnios g166)
21 make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
イエス・キリストを通して，み前にあってみ心にかなうことをあなた方のうちで行なってくださり，あなた方がそのご意志を行なうため，あらゆる善い業において整えてくださいますように。この方に，栄光がいつまでもありますように。アーメン。 (aiōn g165)
22 But I exhort you, brothers, endure the word of exhortation, for I have written to you in few words.
兄弟たち，わたしはあなた方に，以上の勧告の言葉を我慢してくれるように勧めます。わたしは少しの言葉であなた方に書き記したからです。
23 Know that our brother Timothy has been freed, with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you.
わたしたちの兄弟テモテが釈放されたことを知ってください。彼がすぐに来れば，わたしは彼と共にあなた方に会えるでしょう。
24 Greet all of your leaders and all the saints. The Italians greet you.
あなた方の指導者たち全員と，すべての聖徒たちによろしく伝えてください。イタリアの人たちがあなた方によろしくと言っています。
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.
恵みが，あなた方すべてと共にありますように。アーメン。
