< Hebrews 10 >

1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.
Kaalok loe krang tangtang to amtuengsak ai, angzo han koi kahoih hmuennawk ih pakhra tahlip ni amtuengsak, to pongah saning kruek angbawnhaih hoiah anih khaeah angzo kaminawk to natuek naah doeh akoephaih paek thai ai.
2 Or else wouldn’t they have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?
Koepsak thaih nahaeloe, Sithaw bok kaminawk vaito ciim o boeh loe zaehaih panoek o mak ai boeh, to pongah angbawnhaih to toengh o sut mak ai boeh maw?
3 But in those sacrifices there is a yearly reminder of sins.
Toe to tiah saning kruek sak ih angbawnhaih loe zaehaih panoeksakkung ah ni oh.
4 For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.
Maitaw tae ih athii hoi maeh ih athiinawk mah zaehaih ciimsak han angcoeng thai ai.
5 Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, “You didn’t desire sacrifice and offering, but you prepared a body for me.
To pongah Anih long nuiah angzoh naah, Anih mah, Nang loe angbawnhaih hoi hmuenpaekhaih to na koeh ai e, kai hanah takpum maeto na paroep pae boeh:
6 You had no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin.
zae pongah sak ih hmai angbawnhaih hoi hmuenpaekhaih to na koeh ai, tiah thuih.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me) to do your will, O God.’”
To naah kai mah, Khenah, (cabu thungah loe kai ih akawng ni tarik o) Aw Sithaw, na koehhaih sak han ih ni kang zoh, tiah thuih.
8 Previously saying, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn’t desire, neither had pleasure in them” (those which are offered according to the law),
Anih mah, Kaalok mah thuih ih baktih toengah, angbawnhaih, hmuenpaekhaih, hmai angbawnhaih, zae pongah hmuenpaekhaihnawk to na koeh ai, to baktih hmuen nuiah doeh palung nang hoe ai, tiah thuih.
9 then he has said, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He takes away the first, that he may establish the second,
To pacoengah anih mah, Khenah, Aw Sithaw, na koehhaih sak han ih ni kang zoh; hnetto haih to caksak hanah, kaom hmaloe to takhoe ving boeh, tiah thuih.
10 by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
To tiah koehhaih baktih toengah, kaminawk boih hanah vaito Jesu Kri mah takpum angpaekhaih rang hoiah aicae loe ciim boeh.
11 Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins,
Qaima boih mah natuek naah doeh zaehaih ciimsak thai ai, angbawnhaih hoi hmuenpaekhaih to nithokkruek vaihi hoi vaihi a sak o.
12 but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God,
Toe hae kami loe, dungzan ah zaehaih ciimsak hanah vaito angpaekhaih sak pacoengah, Sithaw ih bantang bangah anghnut boeh;
13 from that time waiting until his enemies are made the footstool of his feet.
vaihi hoi kamtong anih ih misanawk to a khokkoenghaih ah suem ai karoek to a zing.
14 For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Vaito angpaekhaih rang hoiah Anih mah ciimsak ih kaminawk to dungzan akoephaih a hnuksak.
15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us, for after saying,
Anih mah to tiah lokthuih pacoengah, Kacai Muithla loe aicae khaeah hnukung ah oh,
16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days,” says the Lord, “I will put my laws on their heart, I will also write them on their mind;” then he says,
to pacoengah nihcae khae ka sak han ih lokmaihaih loe hae ni, Nihcae ih palung thungah ka patuk ih lok to ka suek moe, nihcae poekhaih thungah ka tarik pae han, tiah Angraeng mah thuih;
17 “I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more.”
Nihcae zaehaih hoi sakpazaehaihnawk to ka pakuem pae mak ai boeh, tiah a thuih let bae.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
Zae tahmenhaih oh boeh loe, zae angbawnhaih om mak ai boeh.
19 Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,
To pongah nawkamyanawk, Jesu athii rang hoiah Kaciim Koek ahmuen thungah misahoihaih hoiah akunhaih,
20 by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh,
taksa ah kaom, kahni payanghaih rang hoiah anih mah aicae han pae ih hinghaih loklam kangtha ah akun thaihaih to a tawnh o boeh;
21 and having a great priest over God’s house,
Sithaw imthung ah kalen qaima to a tawnh o boeh pongah,
22 let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and having our body washed with pure water,
kasae poekhaih aicae ih palung to tui hoiah bawh moe, aicae ih takpum doeh kaciim tui hoiah pasaeh hanah, kacak tanghaih hoiah Sithaw khaeah anghnai o si.
23 let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.
A tawnh o ih tanghaih to hnuk angnawn taak ai ah, kacakah patawn o si; (lokkamhaih sahkung loe oepthoh; )
24 Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works,
amlunghaih hoi kahoih hmuen sakhaih bangah maeto hoi maeto kawbangah maw thapaek thaih han, tiah poek o si:
25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
thoemto kaminawk mah sak o ih baktih toengah, aicae doeh nawnto amkhuenghaih to pahnawt o sut hmah si; atue phak tom boeh pongah, maeto hoi maeto tha angpaek o si loe, tha pathok o aep si.
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins,
Loktang a hnuk o pacoengah, sak koehhaih palung hoiah zaehaih a sak o let nahaeloe, zaehaih akrang hanah hmuenpaekhaih om mak ai boeh,
27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.
toe zit kathok lokcaekhaih to ni a hnu o tih boeh, hmai baktih kangqong palungphuihaih mah lok kaaek misanawk to kangh tih.
28 A man who disregards Moses’ law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses.
Hnukung hnetto maw, thumto maw om nahaeloe, Mosi ih kaalok aek kami to palungnathaih tawn ai ah hum o:
29 How much worse punishment do you think he will be judged worthy of who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
Sithaw Capa khok hoiah cawh kami, aicae ciimcaihaih ah kaom, athii hoi sak ih lokmaihaih to ciimcai ai, tiah poek kami, tahmenhaih paekkung Muithla kasae thui kami loe, kawkruk ah kalen danpaekhaih maw hnu tih? tito poek oh.
30 For we know him who said, “Vengeance belongs to me. I will repay,” says the Lord. Again, “The Lord will judge his people.”
Lu lakhaih loe kai ih ni, kai mah pathok han, tiah Angraeng mah thuih. Angraeng mah, angmah ih kaminawk to lokcaek tih, tiah thui kami to a panoek o.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Kahing Sithaw ban thungah krak han zitthoh parai.
32 But remember the former days, in which, after you were enlightened, you endured a great struggle with sufferings:
Toe Aanghaih na hnuk o pacoengah, kawkruk kalen patangkhanghaih maw na tongh o vop;
33 partly, being exposed to both reproaches and oppressions, and partly, becoming partakers with those who were treated so.
kawbaktih naah maw loe, minawk hma ah kasae ang thuih o moe, ang pacaekthlaek o, kawbaktih naah maw loe to tiah patangkhang kaminawk baktih toengah ang sak o, canghni ah kaom to baktih atuenawk to pahnet o hmah.
34 For you both had compassion on me in my chains and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an enduring one in the heavens.
Thongim ka krak naah nang tahmen o, minawk mah hmuenmae ang lomh pae o naah doeh, van ah kahoih kue dungzan ah kacak qawk ka tawnh, tiah na panoek o pongah anghoehaih hoiah na pauep o.
35 Therefore don’t throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.
To pongah na tawnh o ih oephaih to va o ving hmah, kalen parai tangqum to na hnu o tih.
36 For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
Sithaw koehhaih na sak o pacoengah, lokkamhaih na hnuk o thai hanah, palungsawkhaih na tawnh o han angaih.
37 “In a very little while, he who comes will come and will not wait.
Tipongah tih nahaeloe angzo han koi kami loe, atue kasawkah om mak ai, akra ai ah angzo tih boeh.
38 But the righteous one will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”
Katoeng kami loe tanghaih hoiah hing tih: toe mi kawbaktih doeh hnuk angnawn kami loe, a nuiah ka hinghaih pakhra anghoe mak ai.
39 But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul.
Toe aicae loe amro hanah hnukbang angnawn kami na ai ni; pakhra pahlonghaih hnuk hanah tanghaih tawn kami ah ni a oh o.
