Genesis 30
1 When Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister. She said to Jacob, “Give me children, or else I will die.”
၁ရာခေလသည် ယာကုပ်အား သားမဘွား ကြောင်းကို မိမိသိမြင်သောအခါ၊ အစ်မကို ငြူစူသော စိတ်ရှိ၍၊ ငါ့အား သားကို ပေးပါ။ သို့မဟုတ် ငါသေတော့ အံ့ဟု ယာကုပ်ကို ဆိုလေ၏။
2 Jacob’s anger burned against Rachel, and he said, “Am I in God’s place, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”
၂ယာကုပ်ကလည်း၊ ငါသည် သင့်အား သားဘွား သောအခွင့်ကို ပေးတော်မမူသော ဘုရားသခင် ကိုယ်စား တော်ဖြစ်သလောဟု၊ ရာခေလကို အမျက်ထွက်၍ ပြန်ဆို ၏။
3 She said, “Behold, my maid Bilhah. Go in to her, that she may bear on my knees, and I also may obtain children by her.”
၃ရာခေလကလည်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၌ ကျွန်မဗိလဟာ ရှိပါ၏။ သူ့ထံသို့ ဝင်ပါ။ သူသည် အကျွန်ုပ်ဒူးပေါ်မှာ သားဘွား၍၊ သူ့အားဖြင့် အကျွန်ုပ်သည် တည်ဆောက် ခြင်းရှိပါလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆိုလျက်၊
4 She gave him Bilhah her servant as wife, and Jacob went in to her.
၄ကျွန်မဗိလဟာကို ယာကုပ်၏မယားဖြစ်စေခြင်း ငှါ အပ်၍၊ သူ့ထံသို့ ယာကုပ်ဝင်လေ၏။
5 Bilhah conceived, and bore Jacob a son.
၅ဗိလဟာသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေယူ၍၊ ယာကုပ်အား သားကို ဘွားမြင်သည်ရှိသော်၊
6 Rachel said, “God has judged me, and has also heard my voice, and has given me a son.” Therefore she called his name Dan.
၆ရာခေလက၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ငါ့ဘက်၌ တရားစီရင်တော်မူပြီ။ ငါ့စကားကိုကြား၍ သားကို ပေးသနားတော်မူပြီဟု ဆိုသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ ထိုသားကို ဒန် အမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်လေ၏။
7 Bilhah, Rachel’s servant, conceived again, and bore Jacob a second son.
၇တဖန် ရာခေလ၏ကျွန်မ ဗိလဟာသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေယူပြန်၍၊ ယာကုပ်အား နှစ်ကြိမ်မြောက်သော သားကိုဘွားမြင်သည်ရှိသော်၊
8 Rachel said, “I have wrestled with my sister with mighty wrestlings, and have prevailed.” She named him Naphtali.
၈ရာခေလက၊ ငါသည် ငါ့အစ်မနှင့် ကျပ်ကျပ် လုံးထွေး၍ နိုင်ခဲ့ပြီဟု ဆို၍၊ ထိုသားကို နဿလိအမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်လေ၏။
9 When Leah saw that she had finished bearing, she took Zilpah, her servant, and gave her to Jacob as a wife.
၉လေအာသည် သားပြတ်၍ မဘွားဘဲနေ ကြောင်းကို မိမိသိမြင်သောအခါ၊ မိမိကျွန်မ ဇိလပကို ယူ၍၊ ယာကုပ်၏မယားဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ အပ်လေ၏။
10 Zilpah, Leah’s servant, bore Jacob a son.
၁၀လေအာ၏ ကျွန်မဇိလပသည်လည်း ယာကုပ် အား သားကိုဘွားမြင်သည်ရှိသော်၊
11 Leah said, “How fortunate!” She named him Gad.
၁၁လေအာက၊ ကောင်းကျိုးလာသည်ဟု ဆို၍၊ ထိုသားကို ဂဒ်အမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်လေ၏။
12 Zilpah, Leah’s servant, bore Jacob a second son.
၁၂တဖန်လေအာ၏ ကျွန်မဇိလပသည် ယာကုပ် အား နှစ်ကြိမ်မြောက်သောသားကို ဘွားမြင်သည် ရှိသော်၊
13 Leah said, “Happy am I, for the daughters will call me happy.” She named him Asher.
၁၃လေအားက၊ ငါ၌ မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။ လူသမီးတို့သည် ငါ့ကိုမင်္ဂလာရှိသောသူဟူ၍ ခေါ်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆိုသဖြင့်၊ ထိုသားကို အာရှာအမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်လေ၏။
14 Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them to his mother, Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, “Please give me some of your son’s mandrakes.”
၁၄ထိုနောက်၊ ဂျုံစပါးကို စုသိမ်းသော အချိန် ကာလ၌၊ ရုဗင်သည် လယ်ပြင်သို့ထွက်သွားပြီးလျှင်၊ အနု ဆေးသီးကိုတွေ့၍၊ မိမိအမိလေအာထံသို့ ဆောင်ခဲ့လေ ၏။ ရာခေလကလည်း၊ သင်၏သား ရခဲ့သော အနုဆေးသီး အချို့ကို ပေးပါလော့ဟု၊ လေအာကိုတောင်းလျှင်၊
15 Leah said to her, “Is it a small matter that you have taken away my husband? Would you take away my son’s mandrakes, also?” Rachel said, “Therefore he will lie with you tonight for your son’s mandrakes.”
၁၅လေအာက၊ သင်သည် ငါ့လင်ကိုယူ၍ အတွက် မရှိထင်သလော။ ငါ့သား၏ အနုဆေးသီးကိုလည်း ယူချင် သေးသည်တကားဟု ဆိုလေသော်၊ ရာခေလက၊ သို့ဖြစ် လျှင်၊ သင့်သား၏ အနုဆေးသီးအတွက်၊ လင်သည် ယနေ့ ညဉ့်တွင် သင်နှင့်အိပ်ရမည်ဟု ဆို၏။
16 Jacob came from the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, “You must come in to me; for I have surely hired you with my son’s mandrakes.” He lay with her that night.
၁၆ညဦးအချိန်၌၊ လယ်ပြင်မှယာကုပ်လာသော အခါ၊ လေအာသည် ခရီးဦးကြိုပြုခြင်းငှါ သွား၍၊ သင် သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ထံသို့ ဝင်ရမည်။ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏သားရခဲ့ သော အနုဆေးသီးနှင့် သင့်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်ငှါးသည် မှန်ပါ ၏ဟုဆိုသဖြင့်၊ ထိုနေ့ညဉ့်တွင် သူနှင့်အိပ်ရလေ၏။
17 God listened to Leah, and she conceived, and bore Jacob a fifth son.
၁၇လေအာစကားကို ဘုရားသခင်နားထောင် တော်မူသဖြင့်၊ သူသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေယူ၍၊ ယာကုပ်အား ပဥ္စမသားကို ဘွားမြင်လေသော်၊
18 Leah said, “God has given me my hire, because I gave my servant to my husband.” She named him Issachar.
၁၈ငါ့ကျွန်မကို ငါ့လင်အား ပေးသောကြောင့်၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ငါ့အား အခကို ပေးတော်မူပြီဟုဆို၍၊ ထိုသားကို ဣသခါအမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်လေ၏။
19 Leah conceived again, and bore a sixth son to Jacob.
၁၉တဖန် လေအာသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေယူပြန်၍၊ ယာကုပ်အား ဆဌမသားကို ဘွားမြင်လေသော်၊
20 Leah said, “God has endowed me with a good dowry. Now my husband will live with me, because I have borne him six sons.” She named him Zebulun.
၂၀ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကောင်းသောလက်ဖွဲ့ကို ပေးသနားတော်မူပြီ။ ငါ့လင်အား သားခြောက်ယောက်ကို ဘွားမြင်သောကြောင့်၊ ယခုငါနှင့် အမြဲနေလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆို၍၊ ထိုသားကို ဇာဗုလုန် အမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်လေ၏။
21 Afterwards, she bore a daughter, and named her Dinah.
၂၁ထိုနောက်မှ သမီးကိုဘွား၍၊ ဒိနအမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်လေ၏။
22 God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her, and opened her womb.
၂၂ထိုအခါ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ရာခေလကို အောက်မေ့တော်မူ၏။ သူ၏စကားကို နားထောင်၍၊ သားဘွားသောအခွင့်ကို ပေးတော်မူသဖြင့်၊
23 She conceived, bore a son, and said, “God has taken away my reproach.”
၂၃သူသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေယူ၍ သားကိုဘွားမြင်လျှင်၊ ငါခံရသော ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်းအကြောင်းကို ဘုရားသခင်သည် ပယ်တော်မူပြီဟူ၍၎င်း၊
24 She named him Joseph, saying, “May Yahweh add another son to me.”
၂၄ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အခြားသောသားကို ထပ်၍ ပေးတော်မူပါစေသောဟူ၍၎င်းဆိုလျက်၊ ထိုသားကို ယောသပ်အမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်လေ၏။
25 When Rachel had borne Joseph, Jacob said to Laban, “Send me away, that I may go to my own place, and to my country.
၂၅ရာခေလသည် ယောသပ်ကို ဘွားမြင်ပြီးသော နောက်၊ ယာကုပ်က၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်နေရင်းပြည်သို့ သွားမည်အကြောင်း အကျွန်ုပ်ကို လွှတ်ပါလော့။
26 Give me my wives and my children for whom I have served you, and let me go; for you know my service with which I have served you.”
၂၆ကျွန်ုပ်သည် အစေခံ၍ရသော မယားနှင့်သား တို့ကို ဆောင်ယူ၍၊ သွားရသောအခွင့်ကို ပေးပါလော့။ ကျွန်ုပ်အစေခံသည်အကြောင်းကို အဘသိပါသည်ဟု လာဗန်အားဆိုလျှင်၊
27 Laban said to him, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, stay here, for I have divined that Yahweh has blessed me for your sake.”
၂၇လာဗန်က၊ သင်၏စိတ်နှင့် တွေ့ပါစေ။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် သင်၏အကြောင်းကြောင့် ငါ့အား ကောင်း ကြီးပေးတော်မူသည်ကို ငါရိပ်မိပြီ။
28 He said, “Appoint me your wages, and I will give it.”
၂၈ငါပေးရမည်အခကို ပြောပါ၊ ငါပေးမည်ဟု ဆိုလေသော်၊
29 Jacob said to him, “You know how I have served you, and how your livestock have fared with me.
၂၉ကျွန်ုပ်သည် အဘ၌ အဘယ်သို့ အစေခံသည် ကို၎င်း အဘ၏တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့သည် ကျွန်ုပ်၌အဘယ်သို့ ရှိနေသည်ကို၎င်း အဘသိပါ၏။
30 For it was little which you had before I came, and it has increased to a multitude. Yahweh has blessed you wherever I turned. Now when will I provide for my own house also?”
၃၀အထက်က အဘ၏ဥစ္စာနည်းလှ၏။ ယခု တိုးပွါး၍ များပြားလျက်ရှိ၏။ ကျွန်ုပ်သွားလာလုပ် ကိုင်သောအားဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အဘအား ကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူပြီ။ ယခုမှာ၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ် အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားတို့ကို အဘယ်သောအခါ ကျွန်ုပ်ပြုစု ရပါအံ့နည်းဟု ဆိုလေ၏။
31 Laban said, “What shall I give you?” Jacob said, “You shall not give me anything. If you will do this thing for me, I will again feed your flock and keep it.
၃၁လာဗန်ကလည်း၊ အဘယ်အခကို ပေးရမည် နည်းဟု မေးပြန်လျှင်၊ ယာကုပ်က၊ ဘာကိုမျှမပေးပါနှင့်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်၌ကျေးဇူးတခု ပြုလိုလျှင်၊ အဘ၏သိုးစု၊ ဆိတ်စုကို တဖန်ကျွေးမွေးစောင့်ထိန်းပါဦးမည်။
32 I will pass through all your flock today, removing from there every speckled and spotted one, and every black one among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats. This will be my hire.
၃၂ယနေ့သိုးစု၊ ဆိတ်စုတရှောက်လုံးကို ကျွန်ုပ် သွား၍၊ ပြောက်ကျား သောဆိတ်များ ညိုသော သိုးများ၊ ရှိသမျှတို့ကိုရွေးနှုတ်ခွဲထားပါမည်။ နောက်မှ ပြောက်ကျားသောဆိတ်၊ ညိုသောသိုးတို့သည် ကျွန်ုပ်၏ အခ ဖြစ်စေလော့။
33 So my righteousness will answer for me hereafter, when you come concerning my hire that is before you. Every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and black among the sheep, that might be with me, will be considered stolen.”
၃၃သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ နောင်ကာလ၌ ကျွန်ုပ်၏အခသည်၊ အဘရှေ့သို့ ရောက်သောအခါ၊ ကျွန်ုပ်၏ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်း သည် ကျွန်ုပ်ကို စောင့်ရှောက်ပါလိမ့်မည်။ မပြောက် မကျားသော ဆိတ်၊ မညိုသောသိုး ရှိသမျှတို့ကို၊ ကျွန်ုပ်ခိုး သော အကောင်ဟူ၍ မှတ်စေလော့ဟု ဆိုလေ၏။
34 Laban said, “Behold, let it be according to your word.”
၃၄လာဗန်ကလည်း၊ သင်ပြောတိုင်းဖြစ်လော့ဟု ဝန်ခံ၍၊ ထိုနေ့၌ပင်၊ ပြောက်ကျားသော ဆိတ်ထီး၊ ပြောက်ကျားသောဆိတ်မ၊
35 That day, he removed the male goats that were streaked and spotted, and all the female goats that were speckled and spotted, every one that had white in it, and all the black ones among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons.
၃၅အဖြူပါသော ဆိတ်ရှိသမျှတို့နှင့်၊ အဆင်းညို သော သိုးရှိသမျှတို့ကိုရွေး၍၊ မိမိသားတို့လက်သို့ အပ်ပေး လေ၏။
36 He set three days’ journey between himself and Jacob, and Jacob fed the rest of Laban’s flocks.
၃၆ကိုယ်နေရာ အရပ်နှင့်၊ ယာကုပ်နေရာအရပ်ကို သုံးရက်ခရီး ကွာစေခြင်းငှါ စီရင်သေး၏။ ယာကုပ်သည် ကြွင်းသော လာဗန်၏သိုးဆိတ်များကို ထိန်းလျက် နေရ လေ၏။
37 Jacob took to himself rods of fresh poplar, almond, and plane tree, peeled white streaks in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.
၃၇ထိုအခါ ယာကုပ်သည်၊ စိမ်းသောလိဗနာပင်၊ လုဇပင်၊ အာရမုန်ပင်တို့၏ အခက်တံဖျားများကိုယူ၍၊ အဖြူ၊ အစိမ်း၊ အတန့်တန့်ပေါ်အောင် အခွံကို လှီးခွာ ပြီးလျှင်၊
38 He set the rods which he had peeled opposite the flocks in the watering troughs where the flocks came to drink. They conceived when they came to drink.
၃၈ရေသောက်လာသောသိုး၊ ဆိတ်အထီးအမ ရှက်တင်စေမည်အကြံရှိ၍၊ ရေသောက်လာသောအခါ၊ အခွံခွာပြီးသော တံဖျာတို့ကို ရေသောက်ကျင်း၊ သောက် ခွက်တို့၌ သိုးဆိတ်တို့ ရှေ့မှာစိုက်ထားလေ၏။
39 The flocks conceived before the rods, and the flocks produced streaked, speckled, and spotted.
၃၉သိုးဆိတ်တို့သည် တံဖျာများရှေ့မှာ ရှက်တင်၍၊ အပြောက်အကျား စသည်တို့ကို ဘွားကြ၏။
40 Jacob separated the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the streaked and all the black in Laban’s flock. He put his own droves apart, and didn’t put them into Laban’s flock.
၄၀ယာကုပ်သည် သိုး၊ ဆိတ်သငယ်တို့ကိုလည်း ခွဲထား၍၊ လာဗန်၏သိုးစု၊ ဆိတ်စုတွင် အဆင်းပြောက် ကျားသော အကောင်၊ အဆင်းညိုသော အကောင်ရှိသမျှ တို့ ရှေ့မှာ သိုးဆိတ်များကိုမျက်နှာပြုစေ၏။ မိမိတိရစ္ဆာန် များနှင့်လာဗန်၏ တိရစ္ဆာန်များကိုလည်း မရောမနှော စေဘဲ၊ တစုစီခွဲထားလေ၏။
41 Whenever the stronger of the flock conceived, Jacob laid the rods in front of the eyes of the flock in the watering troughs, that they might conceive among the rods;
၄၁အားကြီးသောအကောင်တို့သည် ရှက်တင် သောအခါ၊ တံဖျာတို့တွင် ရှက်တင်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ယာကုပ် သည် တံဖျာများကို ရေကျင်း၌၊ သူတို့ မျက်မှောက်တွင် ထားတတ်၏။
42 but when the flock were feeble, he didn’t put them in. So the feebler were Laban’s, and the stronger Jacob’s.
၄၂အားနည်းသောအကောင်တို့ရှေမှာ တံဖျာတို့ကို မပြမထား။ ထိုကြောင့် အားနည်းသောအကောင်တို့သည် လာဗန်၏ဥစ္စာဖြစ်လေ၏။ အားကြီးသော အကောင်တို့မူ ကား၊ ယာကုပ်၏ ဥစ္စာဖြစ်လေ၏။
43 The man increased exceedingly, and had large flocks, female servants and male servants, and camels and donkeys.
၄၃ထိုသို့ယာကုပ်၌ စည်းစိမ်တိုးပွား၍၊ သိုး၊ဆိတ်၊ ကျွန်ယောက်ျား၊ ကျွန်မိန်းမ၊ ကုလားအုပ်၊ မြည်းအများ ရှိကြ၏။
