< Galatians 3 >

1 Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly portrayed among you as crucified?
Zihole za Magalata! Menso aani mavilala avamileteli inkonzi? Kana kuti Jesu Krisite ava swaniswe na hanzikwitwe habusu bwa menso enu? Kuti kanzi mukuteki initi?
2 I just want to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
Nisa kulituta izi kwenu. Chumuva amuhela luhuho lujola cha musebezi wamulao kapa chakuzumina chimubazuwi?
3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now completed in the flesh?
Muzihole ahulu? Muvatangi mu luhuho feela ni kumana hanu mwi nyama?
4 Did you suffer so many things in vain, if it is indeed in vain?
Kana muvavi ni nzivo ingi isena chimwi-Heba cheniti ni kusena?
5 He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you and does miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
Lunu iye yomiha luhuho ni ku panga imakazo zikolete mukati kanu uzipanga cha mulao kapa cha kuzuwa che tumelo?
6 Even so, Abraham “believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness.”
Abrahama “A vazumine kwa Ireeza mi a vazumininwa cha kuluka kwakwe.”
7 Know therefore that those who are of faith are children of Abraham.
Mwinzila iswana, kuzuwisisa, linu, kuti avo va zumina vaana va Abrahama.
8 The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you all the nations will be blessed.”
Mi iñolo chakuvona kuti Ireeza kachenise valichava che intumelo. Inzwii nilya wambailwa che ntanzi kwa Abrahama: “Mwaako mishovao yonse ye nkanda kayi itonolofazwe.”
9 So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.
Kuti linu, avo veena itumelo va tonolofezwe ni Abrahama, yavena intumelo.
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.”
Avo vahalila ha musebezi wa mulao vena mwikonde lya chikuto. Kakuli ku ñoletwe, va kutitwe vantu vonse vasechilili zintu ziñoletwe mwi mbuka yamulao, kuzipanga zonse.”
11 Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, “The righteous will live by faith.”
Hanu kuvoneka cwale kuti Ireeza kachenisi muntu cha mulao, kakuti “Valukite muvahale che intumelo.”
12 The law is not of faith, but, “The man who does them will live by them.”
Mulao kawuzwi kwintumelo, kono nihakuva vulyo, “Iye yo panga izi zintu chamulao mwahale cho milao.”
13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,”
Kresite ava tuhazi kuchikuto cha mulao heza kuba chikuto chetu. Kakuti kuñoletwe, “Yo kutitwe muntu yense yo dengelela kwi samu.”
14 that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Vutokwa ivali kuti imboyoti ivena kwa Abrahama pona chikeza ku chicaba chaa Jesu Keresite. Ili kuti chitutambula insepiso yaluhuho che intumelo.
15 Brothers, speaking of human terms, though it is only a man’s covenant, yet when it has been confirmed, no one makes it void or adds to it.
Vaakwaangu, niwamba cha mukwa wa muntu. Nihaike chilikani cha bantu chicha kolela, ka kwina yowola kuchikani kapa kuchi ekeza.
16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his offspring. He doesn’t say, “To descendants”, as of many, but as of one, “To your offspring”, which is Christ.
Hanu insepiso ziva zivawamba kwa Abrahama ni lusika lwakwe. Kakuwambi kuti, “kulusika lwakwe,” kuvoza kuvaangi, kono nihakuba bulyo kumuntu yenke, “nikulusika lwenu,” yeli nji Keresite.
17 Now I say this: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God in Christ, the law, which came four hundred thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect.
Hanu ni wamba izi. Mulao, uvekezi mwaaka yina miyanda yone ne makumi otatwe ku masule aho, kaikanisi chilikani chibapangwa kuma masule ni Ireeza.
18 For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by promise.
Kakuti chifumu chibakezi cho mulao, ni chisena chibakezi che nzila ye sepiso. Kono Ireeza chakulukuluha ava chihi Abrahama che isepiso.
19 Then why is there the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.
Chinzi linu mulao ha u vahewa? Uva ekezwa che baka lya mafosisa, mbwita valusika lwa Abrahama lu vakwiza kwavo vavasepiswe. Mulao uva vikwa cha mañiloi che yanza lya muzimanini.
20 Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.
Linu muzimanini uzimanina bantu bahitilila muntu yenke, kono Ireeza yenke bulyo.
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could make alive, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law.
Kana mulao ulwisanisa insepo ya Ireeza? Sanzi kuwamba vulyo! Cwale mulao heva u bahewa u va kuwola kuha buhalo, valukite vava kuswanela cheniti kwiza cha mulao.
22 But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Kono nihakuba bulyo, iñolo lisuminine zintu zonse mwikonde lya chivi. Ireeza ava tendi izi kuti insepiso yakwe itutuse che ntumelo mi Jesu Kresite pona cho hewa kwa vo vazumina.
23 But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, confined for the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Kono intumelo ni seni kusika cha Keresite, tuva suminwe ni ku lyatililwa cha mulao kusikila hakuvezili insinulo ya ntumelo.
24 So that the law has become our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Cwale linu mulao chi wa keza kuba Muvavaleli wetu kusikila Jesu hasika, ili kuti tu tucheniswe che ntumelo.
25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
Hanu intumelo hachiya keza, katusina mwi konde lya muvavaleli.
26 For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.
Kakuti muvonse muvana ve Ireeza mwi intumelo cha Jesu Keresite.
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Muvonse mu kolovezwa cha Kresite muvalizwatiki Kresite muvene.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Kakusina kuti uzu mu Juda kapa Mu Gerike, muhikana kapa mulukuluhi, mukwame kapa mwanakazi, kakuti muvonse muchintu chonke kwa Jesu Keresite.
29 If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise.
Haiva muva Kresite, Linu muva lusika lwa Abrahama, mikamuyole kakuya che nsepiso.
