Exodus 37

1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood. Its length was two and a half cubits, and its width a cubit and a half, and a cubit and a half its height.

So gjorde Besalel kista; ho var av akazietre, halvtridje aln lang og halvonnor aln breid og halvonnor aln høg.

2 He overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a molding of gold for it around it.

Han klædde henne med skirt gull både innan og utan, og gjorde ein gullkrans på henne rundt ikring.

3 He cast four rings of gold for it in its four feet—two rings on its one side, and two rings on its other side.

Og han støypte fire gullringar, som han feste i dei fire føterne på kista, tvo på den eine sida og tvo på den andre.

4 He made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.

So gjorde han stenger av akazietre, og klædde deim med gull,

5 He put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.

og smøygde deim inn i ringarne på sidorne av kista, til å bera henne etter.

6 He made a mercy seat of pure gold. Its length was two and a half cubits, and a cubit and a half its width.

So gjorde han eit lok av skirt gull, halvtridje aln lang og halvonnor aln breid.

7 He made two cherubim of gold. He made them of beaten work, at the two ends of the mercy seat:

På endarne av det gjorde han tvo kerubar; av drive gull gjorde han deim,

8 one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end. He made the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat at its two ends.

den eine keruben ytst på den eine enden og den andre ytst på hin enden; i eitt med loket gjorde han kerubarne, ein på kvar ende.

9 The cherubim spread out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat.

Kerubarne heldt vengjerne utbreidde og upplyfte, so dei tekte yver loket med vengjerne sine, og andliti deira snudde mot kvarandre; dei vende augo mot loket.

10 He made the table of acacia wood. Its length was two cubits, and its width was a cubit, and its height was a cubit and a half.

So gjorde han bordet; det var av akazietre, tvo alner langt og ei aln breidt og halvonnor aln høgt.

11 He overlaid it with pure gold, and made a gold molding around it.

Han klædde det med skirt gull, og gjorde ein gullkrans på det, rundt ikring.

12 He made a border of a hand’s width around it, and made a golden molding on its border around it.

Ei løvdebreid list gjorde han rundt um det, og på listi sette han og ein gullkrans, som gjekk heilt ikring.

13 He cast four rings of gold for it, and put the rings in the four corners that were on its four feet.

So støypte han fire gullringar og sette i hyrno på dei fire bordføterne.

14 The rings were close by the border, the places for the poles to carry the table.

Ringarne sat tett uppmed listi; dei var til å smøygja berestenger inn i.

15 He made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold, to carry the table.

Stengerne gjorde han av akazietre, og klædde deim med gull; deim var det bordet skulde berast etter.

16 He made the vessels which were on the table, its dishes, its spoons, its bowls, and its pitchers with which to pour out, of pure gold.

So gjorde han dei kjeraldi som skulde setjast på bordet, fati og skålerne som høyrde til, og bollarne og kannorne som skulde skjenkjast drykkoffer av, alt av skirt gull.

17 He made the lamp stand of pure gold. He made the lamp stand of beaten work. Its base, its shaft, its cups, its buds, and its flowers were of one piece with it.

So gjorde han ljosestaken; den var av skirt gull, og drive arbeid var det, både hoven og leggen. På staken var det blomar, med knuppar og utsprotne blad, og dei var samgjorde med honom.

18 There were six branches going out of its sides: three branches of the lamp stand out of its one side, and three branches of the lamp stand out of its other side:

Seks armar greina seg ut ifrå honom, tri på den eine sida og tri på den andre.

19 three cups made like almond blossoms in one branch, a bud and a flower, and three cups made like almond blossoms in the other branch, a bud and a flower; so for the six branches going out of the lamp stand.

På den eine armen var det tri utsprotne mandelblomar, med knupp og blad, og på den andre armen var og tri utsprotne mandelblomar, med knupp og blad, og soleis på alle dei seks armarne som greina seg ut ifrå ljosestaken.

20 In the lamp stand were four cups made like almond blossoms, its buds and its flowers;

På sjølve staken var det fire utsprotne mandelblomar, med knupp og blad,

21 and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of it.

ein blomsterknupp under dei fyrste tvo armarne, og ein under dei næste tvo armarne, og ein under det tridje paret av dei seks armarne som greina seg ut ifrå ljosestaken.

22 Their buds and their branches were of one piece with it. The whole thing was one beaten work of pure gold.

Både blomsterknupparne og armarne var samsmidde med staken; alt var eit heilgjort arbeid av drive, skirt gull.

23 He made its seven lamps, and its snuffers, and its snuff dishes, of pure gold.

Sidan gjorde han lamporne til ljosestaken, sju i talet, og sakserne og saksplatorne som høyrde til, alt av skirt gull.

24 He made it of a talent of pure gold, with all its vessels.

Tri vågar skirt gull bruka han til ljosestaken og alle desse gognerne.

25 He made the altar of incense of acacia wood. It was square: its length was a cubit, and its width a cubit. Its height was two cubits. Its horns were of one piece with it.

So gjorde han røykjelsealtaret av akazietre, ei aln langt og ei aln breidt, firkanta, og tvo alner høgt. Horni på det var i eitt med sjølve altaret.

26 He overlaid it with pure gold: its top, its sides around it, and its horns. He made a gold molding around it.

Han klædde det med skirt gull, både ovanpå og rundt ikring på sidorne og på horni, og gjorde ein gullkrans på det, heilt ikring.

27 He made two golden rings for it under its molding crown, on its two ribs, on its two sides, for places for poles with which to carry it.

Nedanfor kransen på dei tvo sidorne sette han tvo gullringar, tvo på kvar sida, til å smøygja stenger inn i som altaret skulde berast etter.

28 He made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.

Stengerne og gjorde han av akazietre, og klædde deim med gull.

29 He made the holy anointing oil and the pure incense of sweet spices, after the art of the perfumer.

So laga han den heilage salvingsoljen og den reine, angande røykjelsen på same måten som apotekarane gjer det.
