1 King Ahasuerus laid a tribute on the land and on the islands of the sea.

Bongo misala nyonso ya bokonzi mpe ya nguya na ye, elongo na makambo nyonso ya lokumu ya Maridoshe oyo mokonzi atombolaki, ekomamaki kati na buku ya masolo ya bakonzi ya Medi mpe ya Persi.
3 For Mordecai the Jew was next to King Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews and accepted by the multitude of his brothers, seeking the good of his people and speaking peace to all his descendants.
Moyuda Maridoshe azalaki moto ya mibale kati na bokonzi sima na mokonzi Kizerisesi. Maridoshe azalaki moto monene mpe ya lokumu na miso ya Bayuda, bandeko na ye; pamba te azalaki koluka bolamu ya bato na ye mpe kobundela bolamu ya Bayuda nyonso.
