< Ephesians 4 >

1 I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,
NAI en Kaun a jalidi men, kin panaui komail, pwe komail en kekeid inenweita ni koa eu, me komail paeker on,
2 with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
Ni karakarak melel, o opampap, o kanonama, o limpok pena nan pun omail.
3 being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Ankelail on wia minimin eu ni Nen jaupena ki jal en popol.
4 There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling,
War ta ieu, o Nen ta ieu, duen me komail paeker on ni kaporopor ta ieu, en omail paeker on.
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Kaun ta men, pojon ta ieu, paptaij ta ieu,
6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in us all.
Kot o Jam en karoj me ta men me kotin poedi meakaroj o daudaulole, o me kotikot lol atail karoj.
7 But to each one of us, the grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
A kitail karoj aleer atail pai en mak duen jon en kupur en Krijtuj.
8 Therefore he says, “When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to people.”
I me a kotin majani: Ni a kotidalan poa, a kotin jaliedi me jalidi kan, o a kotiki on aramaj pai kan.
9 Now this, “He ascended”, what is it but that he also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?
A iaduen, ma a kotidalan poa, kaidin a pil jo kotidilar pa jed, waja lolia maj o?
10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.
Me kotidila, i ota, me kotida wei ileila jan nanlan kan karoj, pwen kadirela waja karoj.
11 He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
O a kotin kajapwilada akai, en wanporon akan o akai en jaukop akan, o akai en waronamau kan, o akai en jilepa o jaunpadak kan.
12 for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ,
Pwen kapunala jaraui kan on wiawia dodok eu, me pan kauada war en Krijtuj.
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,
Kitail karoj lao lel on pojon ta ieu, o lolekon ki Japwilim en Kot, o wiala ol melel, me paroki on Krijtuj ni a unjokela,
14 that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
Pwe kitail en jolar tau en jeri pwelel, me mokimokideki jili padak likam, me kin pwai kida kotaue en aramaj akan o ar likam, o widiwidin me re kin wiada, pwen kaweid japun.
15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ,
A kitail en melel ni limpok, ap kakairida ni jon karoj on Krijtuj, me tapwi o.
16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.
Me war pon kakauda jan o kokon akan karoj kateneten pena ia; a kokon pukat papa pena, duen dodok en kokon akan eu eu, duen ar itar on, iduen war o kin kakairida o maular ni limpok.
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,
I me i indai on komail o kadede kila Kaun o, me komail ender weweid dueta men liki kan kin wia ni aklapalap en nen ir.
18 being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts.
Me nen arail rotorotalar, o re jan maur en Kot, pweki ar jololekon me mi lol arail o pweki monion arail kapitakailar.
19 They, having become callous, gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
Me jolar pam waja, ap mueid on pein irail, en dender o inon ion kapwaiada jon en jaut akan karoj.
20 But you didn’t learn Christ that way,
A kaidin iduen, me komail ajadar ren Krijtuj.
21 if indeed you heard him and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus:
Ma komail roner duen i o padakki i, me tiak melel mi ren Iejuj.
22 that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit,
Komail ari muei jan tiak en maj o aramaj marin, me kin kawe kila pein i inon jued.
23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
A komail en kawilikapada nen omail!
24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
O danwar anekila aramaj kap, me wiauier duen kupur en Kot, ni melel o pun o jaraui.
25 Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.
I me komail en kajela likam amen amen ap lokaia melel on men impa, pwe kitail jau ta ieu.
26 “Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath,
Ni makar komail der wia dip, o katipin der kirila mon omail injenemaula.
27 and don’t give place to the devil.
Ender duki on tewil o!
28 Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.
Me pirap, ender pur on pirap, a mak eta, en dodok, kadokeki pa kan dipijou mau, pwen kaonop da kijakij on me jamama kan.
29 Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Kajoi jaut ender ko wei jan nan au omail, a men kamau, pwen papaki on me karon akan me mau.
30 Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Komail der kamauke Nen jaraui en Kot, me komail kilelekier on ran en kajapaledo!
31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice.
A limelimek jued, o linaranar, o makar, o men pei, o lalaue en doo wei jan komail, o pil jon en jued karoj.
32 And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
A komail en kadek pena, o poka pena, o mak pena amen amen, dueta Kot kotin maki on komail ren Krijtuj.
