Colossians 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲನಾಗಿರುವ ಪೌಲನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ತಿಮೊಥೆಯನೂ,
2 to the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೊಲೊಸ್ಸೆಯ ದೇವರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರಾದ ಸಹೋದರ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರಿಗೆ: ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೃಪೆಯೂ ಶಾಂತಿಯೂ ಆಗಲಿ.
3 We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
ನಾವು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
4 having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love which you have toward all the saints,
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಇಟ್ಟ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ದೇವಜನರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
5 because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the Good News
ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಾದಿರಿಸಲಾದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಈ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯೂ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಒದಗಿಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯ ಸತ್ಯ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮೊದಲೇ ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
6 which has come to you, even as it is in all the world and is bearing fruit and growing, as it does in you also, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth,
ಆ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯು ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಡಿದಂತೆ, ನಿಮಗೂ ತಲುಪಲು ನೀವು ಸಹ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡ ದಿವಸದಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಫಲಕೊಟ್ಟು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
7 even as you learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on your behalf,
ಇದನ್ನು ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಜೊತೆ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಎಪಫ್ರನಿಂದ ಕಲಿತುಕೊಂಡಿರಿ. ಅವನು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಾದ ಸೇವಕನು.
8 who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.
ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದವನೂ ಅವನೇ.
9 For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾವೂ ಸಹ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದ ದಿನದಿಂದ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನೀವು ದೇವರಾತ್ಮ ನೀಡುವ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೂ ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದಿ, ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತದ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾವು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
10 that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God,
ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯರಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನೇ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ ನೀವು ಸಕಲ ಸತ್ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಫಲಕೊಡುತ್ತಾ ದೇವರ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿರಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ
11 strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy,
ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿ ಬಲಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿ ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಆಗ ನೀವು ಸರ್ವತಾಳ್ಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ದೀರ್ಘಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದಿದವರಾಗಿ,
12 giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light,
ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವಿರಿ. ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವಭಕ್ತರ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲುಗಾರರಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದೆಯು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯೋಗ್ಯರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love,
ತಂದೆಯು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಂಧಕಾರದ ಅಧಿಪತ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಪುತ್ರ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ರಾಜ್ಯದೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿದರು.
14 in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಮಗೆ ವಿಮೋಚನೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯೇ ಆ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ಅದೃಶ್ಯರಾದ ದೇವರ ಸ್ವರೂಪವೂ ಸರ್ವಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗು ಜ್ಯೇಷ್ಠ ಪುತ್ರರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
16 For by him all things were created in the heavens and on the earth, visible things and invisible things, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things have been created through him and for him.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಭೂಪರಲೋಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಾಣುವಂತವುಗಳಾಗಲಿ, ಕಾಣದಂತವುಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತವು ಇವರ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಗಳಾಗಲಿ, ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವಗಳಾಗಲಿ, ದೊರೆತನಗಳಾಗಲಿ, ಅಧಿಕಾರಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗೊಂಡವು. ಸರ್ವವೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರಿಂದಲೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಹೊಂದಿತು.
17 He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ಮೊದಲು ಇದ್ದವರು, ಇವರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
18 He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence.
ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ಸಭೆಯೆಂಬ ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿರಸ್ಸಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎಲ್ಲದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇವರೇ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಸ್ಥಾನಹೊಂದಿರುವಂತೆ, ಆರಂಭವೂ ಸತ್ತು ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಥಮವಾದವರು ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಇವರು ಎಲ್ಲದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸರ್ವಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
19 For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him,
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವಸಂಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯು ವಾಸವಾಗಿರಲು ಬಯಸಿದರು.
20 and through him to reconcile all things to himself by him, whether things on the earth or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.
ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ಶಿಲುಬೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಸಿದ ರಕ್ತದ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ, ದೇವರು ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ಭೂಪರಲೋಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಧಾನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
21 You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil deeds,
ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ದೇವರಿಂದ ದೂರವಿದ್ದವರೂ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
22 yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without defect and blameless before him,
ಈಗಲಾದರೋ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಂದಾರಹಿತರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮಾಂಸದೇಹದ ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಈಗ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂಧಾನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
23 if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a servant.
ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದುವರೆದು ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡು, ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿ ಹೋಗದಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿದಂಥ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಸರ್ವಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸಾರಲಾದ ಈ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಗೆ ಪೌಲನೆಂಬ ನಾನು ಸೇವಕನಾದೆನು.
24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the assembly,
ಈಗ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಾಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಸಂಕಟಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೊರತೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಅವರ ದೇಹವಾಗಿರುವ ಸಭೆಗಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
25 of which I was made a servant according to the stewardship of God which was given me toward you to fulfill the word of God,
ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ದೇವರು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ, ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸಾರಲು ನಾನು ಸಭೆಗೆ ಸೇವಕನಾದೆನು.
26 the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints, (aiōn g165)
ಆ ರಹಸ್ಯವು ಹಿಂದಿನ ಯುಗಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೂ ಈಗ ಅದು ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿದೆ. (aiōn g165)
27 to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ರಹಸ್ಯದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವು ಎಷ್ಟೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆ ರಹಸ್ಯವು ಏನೆಂದರೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದೇ.
28 We proclaim him, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;
ಈ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನೇ ನಾವು ಸಾರುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಪಕ್ವತೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವಂತೆ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
29 for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.
ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಶಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ, ನಾನೂ ಸಹ ಪ್ರಯಾಸ ಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಈ ಗುರಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
