Colossians 3

1 If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.

ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಮೇಲಿರುವವುಗಳನ್ನೇ ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ದೇವರ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.

ಪರಲೋಕದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಡಿರಿ, ಭೂಸಂಬಂಧವಾದವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.

3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಸತ್ತಿರುವಿರಲ್ಲಾ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

4 When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.

ನಿಮಗೆ ಜೀವವಾಗಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗುವಾಗ, ನೀವು ಸಹ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗುವಿರಿ.

5 Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅನೈತಿಕತೆ, ಅಶುದ್ಧತ್ವ, ಕಾಮಾಭಿಲಾಷೆ, ದುರಾಶೆ, ದೇವರಲ್ಲದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮರಾಗಿರುವರು ಲೋಭ ಮುಂತಾದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಲೌಕಿಕವಾದ ಸ್ವಭಾವಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಯಿಸಿರಿ.

6 For these things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

ಇವುಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ದೇವರ ಕೋಪವು ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತಲಿದೆ.

7 You also once walked in those, when you lived in them,

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ನೀವೂ ಸಹ ಅಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಜೀವಿಸಿದಿರಿ.

8 but now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth.

ಈಗಲಾದರೋ ಕ್ರೋಧ, ಕೋಪ, ಮತ್ಸರ, ದೂಷಣೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವ ದುರ್ಭಾಷೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಿರಿ.

9 Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings,

ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ, ನೀವು ಹಳೆಯ ಸ್ವಭಾವವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲವೇ!

10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,

ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನ ಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು, ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನವೀಕರಣ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಿರುವ ಆ ನೂತನ ಸ್ವಭಾವವನ್ನೇ ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ.

11 where there can’t be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondservant, or free person; but Christ is all, and in all.

ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲದವರು, ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದವರು, ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಹೊಂದದವರು, ನಾಗರಿಕ, ಅನಾಗರಿಕ, ಆಳು, ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರರು ಎಂಬ ಭೇದವಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವೇ ಸಮಸ್ತರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

12 Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;

ಆದಕಾರಣ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದವರೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರೂ ಪ್ರಿಯರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ನೀವು ಕನಿಕರ, ದಯೆ, ದೀನತ್ವ, ಸಾತ್ವಿಕತ್ವ, ದೀರ್ಘಶಾಂತಿ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.

ಯಾವನಿಗಾದರೂ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನ ಮೇಲೆ ದೂರು ಇದ್ದರೂ, ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿರಿ. ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ, ನೀವು ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿರಿ.

14 Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.

ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮಿಗಿಲಾಗಿ, ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವಾದ ಐಕ್ಯತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಿಸುವ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.

ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಸಮಾಧಾನವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳಲಿ, ಆ ಸಮಾಧಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ನೀವು ಸಹ ಒಂದೇ ದೇಹವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನೀವು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರಿ.

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.

ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸಲಿ. ಆ ವಾಕ್ಯದಿಂದಲೇ, ನೀವು ಸಕಲ ಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಸಂಗೀತಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಆತ್ಮಿಕ ಹಾಡುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಇರಿ.

17 Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

ನೀವು ಮಾತಿನಿಂದಾಗಲಿ, ಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಏನು ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಅದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನಮಗೆ ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರಿ.

18 Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರೇ, ನೀವು ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಗ್ಯರಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾಗಿರಿ.

19 Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them.

ಗಂಡಂದಿರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿರಿ. ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ವರ್ತಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ.

20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord.

ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಧಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇದು ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ಬಹು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

21 Fathers, don’t provoke your children, so that they won’t be discouraged.

ತಂದೆಯರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ರೇಗಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಅವರು ನಿರಾಶರಾಗುವರು.

22 Servants, obey in all things those who are your masters according to the flesh, not just when they are looking, as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God.

ಸೇವಕರೇ, ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯಜಮಾನರಾಗಿರುವವರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗದೆ, ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರಾಗಿ ಸರಳ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿರಿ.

23 And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,

ನೀವು ಏನನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೆಂದು ಮಾಡದೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಎಂದು ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.

24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಿಂದ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಬಹುಮಾನವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವಿರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನೇ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.

25 But he who does wrong will receive again for the wrong that he has done, and there is no partiality.

ಆದರೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಮಾಡುವವನು ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕದ್ದನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
