Acts 27
1 When it was determined that we should sail for Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners to a centurion named Julius, of the Augustan band.
১পাছত যেতিয়া আমাৰ ইটালী দেশলৈ জাহাজেৰে যোৱাৰ কথা নিশ্চিত হ’ল, তেওঁলোকে পৌল আৰু অন্য কিছুমান কাৰাবন্দীক ৰাজাধিৰাজৰ সৈন্য দলৰ যুলিয় নামৰ এজন এশৰ সেনাপতিৰ হাতত শোধাই দিলে৷
2 Embarking in a ship of Adramyttium, which was about to sail to places on the coast of Asia, we put to sea, Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica being with us.
২আদ্ৰামুত্তিয়ৰ পৰা আহি থকা এখন জাহাজত আমি উঠিলো৷ এই জাহাজ খন এচিয়া দেশৰ সমুদ্ৰ-পথৰ উপকূলৰ কাষে কাষে যাত্ৰা কৰাৰ কথা আছিল৷ তাতে আমাৰ লগত থিচলনীকী নগৰৰ মাকিদনিয়াৰ আৰিষ্টাৰ্খ আছিল৷
3 The next day, we touched at Sidon. Julius treated Paul kindly and gave him permission to go to his friends and refresh himself.
৩পাছদিনা আমি চীদোন নগৰৰ পাৰত নামিলো৷
4 Putting to sea from there, we sailed under the lee of Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.
৪তাতে যুলিয়ই পৌলক দয়াৰে গণ্য কৰি বন্ধু-বান্ধৱ সকলৰ ওচৰলৈ গৈ প্ৰাণ জুৰাই আহিবলৈ দিলে৷ সেই ঠাইৰ পৰা আমি জলযাত্ৰা কৰি যাওঁতে সন্মুখত বতাহ পালোঁ, সেই বাবে কুপ্ৰ দ্ৱীপৰ কাষেদি যাবলৈ ললোঁ৷
5 When we had sailed across the sea which is off Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra, a city of Lycia.
৫পাছত কিলিকিয়াৰ আৰু পাম্ফুলিয়াৰ সন্মুখত থকা সাগৰ পাৰ হৈ, লুকিয়া দেশৰ ‘মুৰা নগৰ’ পালোঁ৷
6 There the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing for Italy, and he put us on board.
৬সেই ঠাইতে এশৰ সেনাপতিয়ে, ইটালী দেশলৈ যোৱা আলেকজেন্দ্ৰিয়া নগৰৰ এখন জাহাজ লগ পোৱাত, আমাক তাতে তুলি দিলে৷
7 When we had sailed slowly many days, and had come with difficulty opposite Cnidus, the wind not allowing us further, we sailed under the lee of Crete, opposite Salmone.
৭এনেদৰে বহু দিন লাহে লাহে গৈ, কোনো প্ৰকাৰে ক্লীদৰ ওচৰ পালোঁ, তাতে বতাহে আমাক বাধা দিয়াত আগুৱাই যাব নোৱাৰি, ক্ৰীতী দ্ৱীপৰ সুৰক্ষিত এলেকাৰ কাষে কাষে চল্মোনীৰ সন্মুখেদি আহি,
8 With difficulty sailing along it we came to a certain place called Fair Havens, near the city of Lasea.
৮কোনো প্ৰকাৰে সুন্দৰ ঘুলি নামেৰে এখন ঠাই পালোঁ; এই ঠাইৰ ওচৰত লাচেয়া নগৰ আছিল৷
9 When much time had passed and the voyage was now dangerous because the Fast had now already gone by, Paul admonished them
৯এইদৰে বহু সময় নষ্ট হ’ল আৰু আমাৰ সমুদ্ৰ-যাত্ৰাও অতি বিপদজ্জনক হৈ উঠিছিল; ইয়াৰ উপৰি আমাৰ উপবাস পর্বৰ দিনো পাৰ হৈ গ’ল, সেয়েহে পৌলে তেওঁলোকক পৰামর্শ দিব ধৰিলে;
10 and said to them, “Sirs, I perceive that the voyage will be with injury and much loss, not only of the cargo and the ship, but also of our lives.”
১০তেওঁ ক’লে যে, “হে লোকসকল, মই দেখিছোঁ যে এই যাত্ৰাত আমাৰ বিপদ আৰু বহু ক্ষতি হব; ইয়াত আমাৰ অকল সামগ্ৰী আৰু জাহাজৰে নহয়; আনকি আমাৰ প্ৰাণো সংকটত পৰিব৷”
11 But the centurion gave more heed to the master and to the owner of the ship than to those things which were spoken by Paul.
১১কিন্তু এশৰ সেনাপতিয়ে পৌলে কোৱা কথাতকৈ জাহাজৰ পথ নির্মাণ কৰা লোক জনৰ আৰু জাহাজৰ গৰাকীৰ কথাতহে বেছি গুৰুত্ৱ দিলে৷
12 Because the haven was not suitable to winter in, the majority advised going to sea from there, if by any means they could reach Phoenix and winter there, which is a port of Crete, looking southwest and northwest.
১২সেই বন্দৰটো শীতকালত থাকিবৰ বাবে বেছি সুবিধাজনক নোহোৱাত, দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিম আৰু উত্তৰ-পশ্চিম দিশে থকা ক্ৰীতীৰ ফৈনীক বন্দৰ যদি কোনো প্ৰকাৰে পাব পাৰে, তাতে শীত কালৰ সময়খিনি থাকিবৰ আশাৰে বেছি ভাগ নাবিকে তালৈ যাবলৈ ওলোৱা বিষয়টোত মত দিলে৷
13 When the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, they weighed anchor and sailed along Crete, close to shore.
১৩পাছত দক্ষিণৰ বতাহ অলপ বলিবলৈ ধৰাত, তেওঁলোকৰ অভিপ্ৰায় সিদ্ধ হোৱা বুলি ভাবি, জাহাজ মেলি ক্ৰীতীৰ ওচৰেদি যাবলৈ ধৰিলে৷
14 But before long, a stormy wind beat down from shore, which is called Euroclydon.
১৪কিন্তু অলপ সময়ৰ পাছতে উৰাকুলো নামৰ বৰ ধুমুহা বতাহ দ্ৱীপটোৰ ইমূৰৰ পৰা সিমূৰলৈ বলিব ধৰিলে;
15 When the ship was caught and couldn’t face the wind, we gave way to it and were driven along.
১৫তেতিয়া আমাৰ জাহাজ খন সেই ধুমুহাৰ মাজত সোমাই পৰিল৷ বাধা নেউচি আগবাঢ়িব নোৱাৰাত বতাহৰ গতিত চলি যাবৰ বাবে জাহাজ খনত পাল তৰি দিয়া হ’ল; তেতিয়া বতাহৰ বলতে জাহাজ খন চলি যাব ধৰিলে৷
16 Running under the lee of a small island called Clauda, we were able, with difficulty, to secure the boat.
১৬এনেদৰে আমি কৌদা নামেৰে এটা সৰু দ্ৱীপৰ আঁৰে আঁৰে গৈ থাকিলো; তাতে কোনো প্ৰকাৰে জাহাজৰ লগত থকা সৰু নাও খন তুলি লবলৈ সক্ষম হ’ল৷
17 After they had hoisted it up, they used cables to help reinforce the ship. Fearing that they would run aground on the Syrtis sand bars, they lowered the sea anchor, and so were driven along.
১৭তাৰ পাছত নাও খন তুলি লৈ, তাত থকা ৰছী ব্যৱহাৰ কৰি কোনো প্ৰকাৰেৰে জাহাজ খন তলেদি মেৰাই বান্ধিলে; কিন্তু চুর্ত্তি নামৰ বালিৰ বাধাটোত জাহাজ খন লাগিব বুলি ভাবি ভয় খালে আৰু পাল নমাই দি, আগবাঢ়ি যাব ধৰিলে৷
18 As we labored exceedingly with the storm, the next day they began to throw things overboard.
১৮তাতে ধুমুহাৰ প্ৰকোপ বাঢ়ি যোৱাত জাহাজ খন বেয়াকৈ ঢলং-পলং কৰিবলৈ ধৰাত, পাছদিনা তেওঁলোকে জাহাজ খনৰ পৰা কিছুমান সামগ্ৰী পেলাবলৈ ধৰিলে৷
19 On the third day, they threw out the ship’s tackle with their own hands.
১৯তিনি দিনৰ দিনা তেওঁলোকে নিজ হাতে জাহাজৰ সঁজুলিবোৰ পেলাই দিলে৷
20 When neither sun nor stars shone on us for many days, and no small storm pressed on us, all hope that we would be saved was now taken away.
২০ধুমুহাৰ প্ৰকোপ ক্ৰমে বাঢ়ি থকাত আৰু কেইবাদিনলৈ সূর্য, তৰাও নোলোৱাকৈ থকাত আমাৰ প্ৰাণৰক্ষাৰ সকলো আশা নোহোৱা হৈছিল৷
21 When they had been long without food, Paul stood up in the middle of them and said, “Sirs, you should have listened to me, and not have set sail from Crete and have gotten this injury and loss.
২১তাতে তেওঁলোকে কেইবাদিনো লঘোনে থকাত, পৌলে তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত থিয় হৈ ক’লে, “হে লোকসকল, আপোনালোকৰ এই বিপদ আৰু ক্ষতি নহলেহেতেন যদি মোৰ কথা শুনি ক্ৰীতীৰ পৰা জাহাজ এৰি নিদিলেহেঁতেন৷
22 Now I exhort you to cheer up, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.
২২কিন্তু এতিয়াও মই আপোনালোকক উৎসাহ দিওঁ, অাপোনালোকে সাহস কৰক; কিয়নো আপোনালোকৰ মাজৰ কোনো জীৱৰে প্ৰাণ হানি নহব, মাত্ৰ জাহাজ খনৰহে ক্ষতি হ’ব৷
23 For there stood by me this night an angel, belonging to the God whose I am and whom I serve,
২৩কিয়নো মই যি জন ঈশ্ৱৰৰ লোক আৰু যি জনৰ মই আৰাধনা কৰোঁ; তেওঁৰ দূতে যোৱাৰাতি মোৰ ওচৰত দেখা দিলে;
24 saying, ‘Don’t be afraid, Paul. You must stand before Caesar. Behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you.’
২৪আৰু থিয় হৈ ক’লে ‘হে পৌল, তুমি ভয় নকৰিবা৷ চীজাৰৰ আগত তুমি থিয় হ’ব লাগিব আৰু চোৱা, তোমাৰ লগত যোৱা সকলো মানুহক ঈশ্ৱৰে অনুগ্ৰহ কৰি তোমাক দিলে৷’
25 Therefore, sirs, cheer up! For I believe God, that it will be just as it has been spoken to me.
২৫এই কাৰণে, হে মোৰ প্রিয় সকল, আপোনালোকে সাহস কৰক; কিয়নো মোক যেনেকৈ ক’লে, তেনেকৈ নিশ্চয় ঘটিব৷ ঈশ্ৱৰত মোৰ এনে বিশ্বাস আছে৷
26 But we must run aground on a certain island.”
২৬কিন্তু আমি কোনো এটা দ্ৱীপত উঠিব লাগিব৷”
27 But when the fourteenth night had come, as we were driven back and forth in the Adriatic Sea, about midnight the sailors surmised that they were drawing near to some land.
২৭এনেদৰে ধুমুহাৰ মাজত ইফাল-সিফাল কৰি আন্দ্ৰিয়া সমুদ্ৰত প্ৰায় চৌদ্ধ ৰাতি পাৰ হৈ যোৱাত, মাজনিশা জাহাজৰ খালাচী সকলে বামৰ ওচৰ পালেহি বুলি ভাবিলে৷
28 They took soundings and found twenty fathoms. After a little while, they took soundings again, and found fifteen fathoms.
২৮তাতে তেওঁলোকে পানী জোখোতে প্ৰায় এক শ বিশ ফুট পালে আৰু অলপ সময়ৰ পাছত আকৌ জোখাত নব্বৈ ফুট পালে৷
29 Fearing that we would run aground on rocky ground, they let go four anchors from the stern, and wished for daylight.
২৯কোনো শিলাময় ঠাইত লাগিব বুলি ভয় কৰি, জাহাজৰ পাছফালে লঙ্গৰ পেলালে আৰু ৰাতিপুৱাবৰ বাবে প্ৰাৰ্থনাৰে বাট চাই থাকিল৷
30 As the sailors were trying to flee out of the ship and had lowered the boat into the sea, pretending that they would lay out anchors from the bow,
৩০নাৱৰীয়া সকলে জাহাজ খনৰ আগফালে লঙ্গৰ পেলোৱাৰ ছলেৰে সাগৰত নাও খন নমাই পলোৱাৰ উপায় কৰি থাকোতে,
31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, “Unless these stay in the ship, you can’t be saved.”
৩১পৌলে এশৰ সেনাপতি আৰু সেনাবোৰক ক’লে, “যদিহে এইবোৰ মানুহ জাহাজত নাথাকে তেনেহলে আপোনালোকেও নিজৰ প্ৰাণ ৰক্ষা কৰিব নোৱাৰিব৷”
32 Then the soldiers cut away the ropes of the boat and let it fall off.
৩২তেতিয়া পলাবলৈ খোজা লোকসকলে নাৱৰ লেজু কাতি তাক পানীত উটি যাবলৈ দিলে৷
33 While the day was coming on, Paul begged them all to take some food, saying, “Today is the fourteenth day that you wait and continue fasting, having taken nothing.
৩৩পাছত ৰাতিপুৱাৰ সময়ত, পৌলে সকলোকে আহাৰ কৰিবলৈ অনুৰোধ কৰিলে৷ তেওঁ ক’লে, “আজি চৌদ্ধ দিন আপোনালোকে বাট চাই একো নোখোৱাকৈ অনাহাৰে আছে,
34 Therefore I beg you to take some food, for this is for your safety; for not a hair will perish from any of your heads.”
৩৪সেই বাবে আপোনালোকক মিনতি কৰিছোঁ, আপোনালোকে যেন অলপ আহাৰ গ্ৰহণ কৰে, কিয়নো সেয়ে আপোনালোকৰ জীয়াই থকাত উপকাৰ স্ৱৰূপ হব; কাৰণ আপোনালোকৰ কোনোজনৰে মূৰৰ এডাল চুলিও নষ্ট নহ’ব৷”
35 When he had said this and had taken bread, he gave thanks to God in the presence of all; then he broke it and began to eat.
৩৫ইয়াকে কৈ তেওঁ পিঠা লৈ, সকলোৰে আগত ঈশ্ৱৰৰ স্তুতি কৰি পিঠাটো ভাঙি ভোজন কৰিলে৷
36 Then they all cheered up, and they also took food.
৩৬তেতিয়া সকলোৱে উৎসাহিত হৈ নিজ নিজ আহাৰ গ্ৰহন কৰিলে৷
37 In all, we were two hundred seventy-six souls on the ship.
৩৭জাহাজত আমি দুই শ ছয়সওৰ জন লোক আছিলোঁ৷
38 When they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, throwing out the wheat into the sea.
৩৮সকলোৱে আহাৰ কৰি তৃপ্ত হোৱাত, তেওঁলোকে জাহাজ খনৰ ওজন কমাবলৈ ঘেহুঁবোৰ সাগৰত দলিয়াই দিলে৷
39 When it was day, they didn’t recognize the land, but they noticed a certain bay with a beach, and they decided to try to drive the ship onto it.
৩৯পাছত যেতিয়া দিন হ’ল, তেতিয়াও তেওঁলোকে সেই অঞ্চল চিনি নাপালে, কিন্তু সমান তীৰেৰে এডোখৰ ঘুপীয়া ঠাই দেখি জাহাজ খন তাত সুমুৱাবলৈ চেষ্টা কৰিলে৷
40 Casting off the anchors, they left them in the sea, at the same time untying the rudder ropes. Hoisting up the foresail to the wind, they made for the beach.
৪০সেইবাবে লঙ্গৰবোৰ কাতি সাগৰত পেলাই দিলে আৰু একে সময়তে হালিৰ বান্ধ খুলি দি, বতাহত পাল তৰি সেই তীৰলৈ আগবাঢ়ি গ’ল৷
41 But coming to a place where two seas met, they ran the vessel aground. The bow struck and remained immovable, but the stern began to break up by the violence of the waves.
৪১কিন্তু জাহাজ খন আহি আহি দুখন সাগৰৰ সঙ্গম স্থলৰ এক অশান্ত অঞ্চলত সোমাই পৰিল; তাতে জাহাজৰ আগ অংশটো বালিত খুন্দা খোৱাত, জাহাজ খন নলৰাকৈ লাগি ধৰিল আৰু পাছ অংশটো ভাঙি যাব ধৰিলে৷
42 The soldiers’ counsel was to kill the prisoners, so that none of them would swim out and escape.
৪২সেনা সকলে বন্দীবোৰ সাঁতুৰি পলায় বুলি ভাবি তেওঁলোকে সেই বন্দী সকলক বধ কৰাৰ আচনি কৰিছিল;
43 But the centurion, desiring to save Paul, stopped them from their purpose, and commanded that those who could swim should throw themselves overboard first to go toward the land;
৪৩কিন্তু এশৰ সেনাপতিয়ে পৌলক ৰক্ষা কৰাৰ মনেৰে নিজে সেনা সকলৰ উদ্দেশ্যৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকক নিষেধ কৰি, এই আজ্ঞা দিলে যে, ‘যিবোৰে সাঁতুৰিব জানে, সেইবোৰে যেন আগেয়ে জাঁপ মাৰি সাঁতুৰি বামলৈ যাওক’;
44 and the rest should follow, some on planks and some on other things from the ship. So they all escaped safely to the land.
৪৪আৰু বাকিবোৰে জাহাজৰ কাঠৰ পাট বা আন কোনো জাহাজৰ বস্তুৰ সহায় লৈ পাছে পাছে যাবলৈ কোৱাত, আমি সকলোৱে বামত উঠি ৰক্ষা পালোঁ৷
