Acts 15
1 Some men came down from Judea and taught the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised after the custom of Moses, you can’t be saved.”
ଯିହୂଦାଦେଶାତ୍ କିଯନ୍ତୋ ଜନା ଆଗତ୍ୟ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣମିତ୍ଥଂ ଶିକ୍ଷିତୱନ୍ତୋ ମୂସାୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥଯା ଯଦି ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ତ୍ୱକ୍ଛେଦୋ ନ ଭୱତି ତର୍ହି ଯୂଯଂ ପରିତ୍ରାଣଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତୁଂ ନ ଶକ୍ଷ୍ୟଥ|
2 Therefore when Paul and Barnabas had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul, Barnabas, and some others of them to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.
ପୌଲବର୍ଣବ୍ବୌ ତୈଃ ସହ ବହୂନ୍ ୱିଚାରାନ୍ ୱିୱାଦାଂଶ୍ଚ କୃତୱନ୍ତୌ, ତତୋ ମଣ୍ଡଲୀଯନୋକା ଏତସ୍ୟାଃ କଥାଯାସ୍ତତ୍ତ୍ୱଂ ଜ୍ଞାତୁଂ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ୍ନଗରସ୍ଥାନ୍ ପ୍ରେରିତାନ୍ ପ୍ରାଚୀନାଂଶ୍ଚ ପ୍ରତି ପୌଲବର୍ଣବ୍ବାପ୍ରଭୃତୀନ୍ କତିପଯଜନାନ୍ ପ୍ରେଷଯିତୁଂ ନିଶ୍ଚଯଂ କୃତୱନ୍ତଃ|
3 They, being sent on their way by the assembly, passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles. They caused great joy to all the brothers.
ତେ ମଣ୍ଡଲ୍ୟା ପ୍ରେରିତାଃ ସନ୍ତଃ ଫୈଣୀକୀଶୋମିରୋନ୍ଦେଶାଭ୍ୟାଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ଭିନ୍ନଦେଶୀଯାନାଂ ମନଃପରିୱର୍ତ୍ତନସ୍ୟ ୱାର୍ତ୍ତଯା ଭ୍ରାତୃଣାଂ ପରମାହ୍ଲାଦମ୍ ଅଜନଯନ୍|
4 When they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the assembly and the apostles and the elders, and they reported everything that God had done with them.
ଯିରୂଶାଲମ୍ୟୁପସ୍ଥାଯ ପ୍ରେରିତଗଣେନ ଲୋକପ୍ରାଚୀନଗଣେନ ସମାଜେନ ଚ ସମୁପଗୃହୀତାଃ ସନ୍ତଃ ସ୍ୱୈରୀଶ୍ୱରୋ ଯାନି କର୍ମ୍ମାଣି କୃତୱାନ୍ ତେଷାଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱୱୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତାନ୍ ତେଷାଂ ସମକ୍ଷମ୍ ଅକଥଯନ୍|
5 But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.”
କିନ୍ତୁ ୱିଶ୍ୱାସିନଃ କିଯନ୍ତଃ ଫିରୂଶିମତଗ୍ରାହିଣୋ ଲୋକା ଉତ୍ଥାଯ କଥାମେତାଂ କଥିତୱନ୍ତୋ ଭିନ୍ନଦେଶୀଯାନାଂ ତ୍ୱକ୍ଛେଦଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ମୂସାୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥାଂ ପାଲଯିତୁଞ୍ଚ ସମାଦେଷ୍ଟୱ୍ୟମ୍|
6 The apostles and the elders were gathered together to see about this matter.
ତତଃ ପ୍ରେରିତା ଲୋକପ୍ରାଚୀନାଶ୍ଚ ତସ୍ୟ ୱିୱେଚନାଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ସଭାଯାଂ ସ୍ଥିତୱନ୍ତଃ|
7 When there had been much discussion, Peter rose up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that a good while ago God made a choice among you that by my mouth the nations should hear the word of the Good News and believe.
ବହୁୱିଚାରେଷୁ ଜାତଷୁ ପିତର ଉତ୍ଥାଯ କଥିତୱାନ୍, ହେ ଭ୍ରାତରୋ ଯଥା ଭିନ୍ନଦେଶୀଯଲୋକା ମମ ମୁଖାତ୍ ସୁସଂୱାଦଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ୱିଶ୍ୱସନ୍ତି ତଦର୍ଥଂ ବହୁଦିନାତ୍ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରୋସ୍ମାକଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ ମାଂ ୱୃତ୍ୱା ନିଯୁକ୍ତୱାନ୍|
8 God, who knows the heart, testified about them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just like he did to us.
ଅନ୍ତର୍ୟ୍ୟାମୀଶ୍ୱରୋ ଯଥାସ୍ମଭ୍ୟଂ ତଥା ଭିନ୍ନଦେଶୀଯେଭ୍ୟଃ ପୱିତ୍ରମାତ୍ମାନଂ ପ୍ରଦାଯ ୱିଶ୍ୱାସେନ ତେଷାମ୍ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣାନି ପୱିତ୍ରାଣି କୃତ୍ୱା
9 He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.
ତେଷାମ୍ ଅସ୍ମାକଞ୍ଚ ମଧ୍ୟେ କିମପି ୱିଶେଷଂ ନ ସ୍ଥାପଯିତ୍ୱା ତାନଧି ସ୍ୱଯଂ ପ୍ରମାଣଂ ଦତ୍ତୱାନ୍ ଇତି ଯୂଯଂ ଜାନୀଥ|
10 Now therefore why do you tempt God, that you should put a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
ଅତଏୱାସ୍ମାକଂ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱପୁରୁଷା ୱଯଞ୍ଚ ସ୍ୱଯଂ ଯଦ୍ୟୁଗସ୍ୟ ଭାରଂ ସୋଢୁଂ ନ ଶକ୍ତାଃ ସମ୍ପ୍ରତି ତଂ ଶିଷ୍ୟଗଣସ୍ୟ ସ୍କନ୍ଧେଷୁ ନ୍ୟସିତୁଂ କୁତ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ପରୀକ୍ଷାଂ କରିଷ୍ୟଥ?
11 But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they are.”
ପ୍ରଭୋ ର୍ୟୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟସ୍ୟାନୁଗ୍ରହେଣ ତେ ଯଥା ୱଯମପି ତଥା ପରିତ୍ରାଣଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତୁମ୍ ଆଶାଂ କୁର୍ମ୍ମଃ|
12 All the multitude kept silence, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul reporting what signs and wonders God had done among the nations through them.
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ବର୍ଣବ୍ବାପୌଲାଭ୍ୟାମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରୋ ଭିନ୍ନଦେଶୀଯାନାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ ଯଦ୍ୟଦ୍ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ୟମ୍ ଅଦ୍ଭୁତଞ୍ଚ କର୍ମ୍ମ କୃତୱାନ୍ ତଦ୍ୱୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତଂ ତୌ ସ୍ୱମୁଖାଭ୍ୟାମ୍ ଅୱର୍ଣଯତାଂ ସଭାସ୍ଥାଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ ନୀରୱାଃ ସନ୍ତଃ ଶ୍ରୁତୱନ୍ତଃ|
13 After they were silent, James answered, “Brothers, listen to me.
ତଯୋଃ କଥାଯାଂ ସମାପ୍ତାଯାଂ ସତ୍ୟାଂ ଯାକୂବ୍ କଥଯିତୁମ୍ ଆରବ୍ଧୱାନ୍
14 Simeon has reported how God first visited the nations to take out of them a people for his name.
ହେ ଭ୍ରାତରୋ ମମ କଥାଯାମ୍ ମନୋ ନିଧତ୍ତ| ଈଶ୍ୱରଃ ସ୍ୱନାମାର୍ଥଂ ଭିନ୍ନଦେଶୀଯଲୋକାନାମ୍ ମଧ୍ୟାଦ୍ ଏକଂ ଲୋକସଂଘଂ ଗ୍ରହୀତୁଂ ମତିଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ଯେନ ପ୍ରକାରେଣ ପ୍ରଥମଂ ତାନ୍ ପ୍ରତି କୃପାୱଲେକନଂ କୃତୱାନ୍ ତଂ ଶିମୋନ୍ ୱର୍ଣିତୱାନ୍|
15 This agrees with the words of the prophets. As it is written,
ଭୱିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାଦିଭିରୁକ୍ତାନି ଯାନି ୱାକ୍ୟାନି ତୈଃ ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧମ୍ ଏତସ୍ୟୈକ୍ୟଂ ଭୱତି ଯଥା ଲିଖିତମାସ୍ତେ|
16 ‘After these things I will return. I will again build the tabernacle of David, which has fallen. I will again build its ruins. I will set it up
ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେଷାଂ କର୍ମ୍ମଣାଂ ଯସ୍ତୁ ସାଧକଃ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଃ| ସ ଏୱେଦଂ ୱଦେଦ୍ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ଶେଷାଃ ସକଲମାନୱାଃ| ଭିନ୍ନଦେଶୀଯଲୋକାଶ୍ଚ ଯାୱନ୍ତୋ ମମ ନାମତଃ| ଭୱନ୍ତି ହି ସୁୱିଖ୍ୟାତାସ୍ତେ ଯଥା ପରମେଶିତୁଃ|
17 that the rest of men may seek after the Lord: all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the Lord, who does all these things.’
ତତ୍ୱଂ ସମ୍ୟକ୍ ସମୀହନ୍ତେ ତନ୍ନିମିତ୍ତମହଂ କିଲ| ପରାୱୃତ୍ୟ ସମାଗତ୍ୟ ଦାଯୂଦଃ ପତିତଂ ପୁନଃ| ଦୂଷ୍ୟମୁତ୍ଥାପଯିଷ୍ୟାମି ତଦୀଯଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱୱସ୍ତୁ ଚ| ପତିତଂ ପୁନରୁଥାପ୍ୟ ସଜ୍ଜଯିଷ୍ୟାମି ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଥା||
ଆ ପ୍ରଥମାଦ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରଃ ସ୍ୱୀଯାନି ସର୍ୱ୍ୱକର୍ମ୍ମାଣି ଜାନାତି| (aiōn g165)
19 Therefore my judgment is that we don’t trouble those from among the Gentiles who turn to God,
ଅତଏୱ ମମ ନିୱେଦନମିଦଂ ଭିନ୍ନଦେଶୀଯଲୋକାନାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ ଯେ ଜନା ଈଶ୍ୱରଂ ପ୍ରତି ପରାୱର୍ତ୍ତନ୍ତ ତେଷାମୁପରି ଅନ୍ୟଂ କମପି ଭାରଂ ନ ନ୍ୟସ୍ୟ
20 but that we write to them that they abstain from the pollution of idols, from sexual immorality, from what is strangled, and from blood.
ଦେୱତାପ୍ରସାଦାଶୁଚିଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟଂ ୱ୍ୟଭିଚାରକର୍ମ୍ମ କଣ୍ଠସମ୍ପୀଡନମାରିତପ୍ରାଣିଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟଂ ରକ୍ତଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟଞ୍ଚ ଏତାନି ପରିତ୍ୟକ୍ତୁଂ ଲିଖାମଃ|
21 For Moses from generations of old has in every city those who preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”
ଯତଃ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱକାଲତୋ ମୂସାୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥାପ୍ରଚାରିଣୋ ଲୋକା ନଗରେ ନଗରେ ସନ୍ତି ପ୍ରତିୱିଶ୍ରାମୱାରଞ୍ଚ ଭଜନଭୱନେ ତସ୍ୟାଃ ପାଠୋ ଭୱତି|
22 Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole assembly, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men among the brothers.
ତତଃ ପରଂ ପ୍ରେରିତଗଣୋ ଲୋକପ୍ରାଚୀନଗଣଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱା ମଣ୍ଡଲୀ ଚ ସ୍ୱେଷାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ ବର୍ଶବ୍ବା ନାମ୍ନା ୱିଖ୍ୟାତୋ ମନୋନୀତୌ କୃତ୍ୱା ପୌଲବର୍ଣବ୍ବାଭ୍ୟାଂ ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧମ୍ ଆନ୍ତିଯଖିଯାନଗରଂ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରେଷଣମ୍ ଉଚିତଂ ବୁଦ୍ଧ୍ୱା ତାଭ୍ୟାଂ ପତ୍ରଂ ପ୍ରୈଷଯନ୍|
23 They wrote these things by their hand: “The apostles, the elders, and the brothers, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: greetings.
ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ପତ୍ରେ ଲିଖିତମିଂଦ, ଆନ୍ତିଯଖିଯା-ସୁରିଯା-କିଲିକିଯାଦେଶସ୍ଥଭିନ୍ନଦେଶୀଯଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣାଯ ପ୍ରେରିତଗଣସ୍ୟ ଲୋକପ୍ରାଚୀନଗଣସ୍ୟ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣସ୍ୟ ଚ ନମସ୍କାରଃ|
24 Because we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, ‘You must be circumcised and keep the law,’ to whom we gave no commandment;
ୱିଶେଷତୋଽସ୍ମାକମ୍ ଆଜ୍ଞାମ୍ ଅପ୍ରାପ୍ୟାପି କିଯନ୍ତୋ ଜନା ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ମଧ୍ୟାଦ୍ ଗତ୍ୱା ତ୍ୱକ୍ଛେଦୋ ମୂସାୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥା ଚ ପାଲଯିତୱ୍ୟାୱିତି ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ଶିକ୍ଷଯିତ୍ୱା ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ମନସାମସ୍ଥୈର୍ୟ୍ୟଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ସସନ୍ଦେହାନ୍ ଅକୁର୍ୱ୍ୱନ୍ ଏତାଂ କଥାଂ ୱଯମ୍ ଅଶୃନ୍ମ|
25 it seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose out men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
ତତ୍କାରଣାଦ୍ ୱଯମ୍ ଏକମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାଃ ସନ୍ତଃ ସଭାଯାଂ ସ୍ଥିତ୍ୱା ପ୍ରଭୋ ର୍ୟୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟସ୍ୟ ନାମନିମିତ୍ତଂ ମୃତ୍ୟୁମୁଖଗତାଭ୍ୟାମସ୍ମାକଂ
26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
ପ୍ରିଯବର୍ଣବ୍ବାପୌଲାଭ୍ୟାଂ ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧଂ ମନୋନୀତଲୋକାନାଂ କେଷାଞ୍ଚିଦ୍ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ସନ୍ନିଧୌ ପ୍ରେଷଣମ୍ ଉଚିତଂ ବୁଦ୍ଧୱନ୍ତଃ|
27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who themselves will also tell you the same things by word of mouth.
ଅତୋ ଯିହୂଦାସୀଲୌ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରେଷିତୱନ୍ତଃ, ଏତଯୋ ର୍ମୁଖାଭ୍ୟାଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାଂ କଥାଂ ଜ୍ଞାସ୍ୟଥ|
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay no greater burden on you than these necessary things:
ଦେୱତାପ୍ରସାଦଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟଂ ରକ୍ତଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟଂ ଗଲପୀଡନମାରିତପ୍ରାଣିଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟଂ ୱ୍ୟଭିଚାରକର୍ମ୍ମ ଚେମାନି ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାଣି ଯୁଷ୍ମାଭିସ୍ତ୍ୟାଜ୍ୟାନି; ଏତତ୍ପ୍ରଯୋଜନୀଯାଜ୍ଞାୱ୍ୟତିରେକେନ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକମ୍ ଉପରି ଭାରମନ୍ୟଂ ନ ନ୍ୟସିତୁଂ ପୱିତ୍ରସ୍ୟାତ୍ମନୋଽସ୍ମାକଞ୍ଚ ଉଚିତଜ୍ଞାନମ୍ ଅଭୱତ୍|
29 that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality, from which if you keep yourselves, it will be well with you. Farewell.”
ଅତଏୱ ତେଭ୍ୟଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେଭ୍ୟଃ ସ୍ୱେଷୁ ରକ୍ଷିତେଷୁ ଯୂଯଂ ଭଦ୍ରଂ କର୍ମ୍ମ କରିଷ୍ୟଥ| ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ମଙ୍ଗଲଂ ଭୂଯାତ୍|
30 So, when they were sent off, they came to Antioch. Having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter.
ତେ ୱିସୃଷ୍ଟାଃ ସନ୍ତ ଆନ୍ତିଯଖିଯାନଗର ଉପସ୍ଥାଯ ଲୋକନିୱହଂ ସଂଗୃହ୍ୟ ପତ୍ରମ୍ ଅଦଦନ୍|
31 When they had read it, they rejoiced over the encouragement.
ତତସ୍ତେ ତତ୍ପତ୍ରଂ ପଠିତ୍ୱା ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନାଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ ସାନନ୍ଦା ଅଭୱନ୍|
32 Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged the brothers with many words and strengthened them.
ଯିହୂଦାସୀଲୌ ଚ ସ୍ୱଯଂ ପ୍ରଚାରକୌ ଭୂତ୍ୱା ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣଂ ନାନୋପଦିଶ୍ୟ ତାନ୍ ସୁସ୍ଥିରାନ୍ ଅକୁରୁତାମ୍|
33 After they had spent some time there, they were dismissed in peace from the brothers to the apostles.
ଇତ୍ଥଂ ତୌ ତତ୍ର ତୈଃ ସାକଂ କତିପଯଦିନାନି ଯାପଯିତ୍ୱା ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ପ୍ରେରିତାନାଂ ସମୀପେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଗମନାର୍ଥଂ ତେଷାଂ ସନ୍ନିଧେଃ କଲ୍ୟାଣେନ ୱିସୃଷ୍ଟାୱଭୱତାଂ|
କିନ୍ତୁ ସୀଲସ୍ତତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାତୁଂ ୱାଞ୍ଛିତୱାନ୍|
35 But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.
ଅପରଂ ପୌଲବର୍ଣବ୍ବୌ ବହୱଃ ଶିଷ୍ୟାଶ୍ଚ ଲୋକାନ୍ ଉପଦିଶ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଭୋଃ ସୁସଂୱାଦଂ ପ୍ରଚାରଯନ୍ତ ଆନ୍ତିଯଖିଯାଯାଂ କାଲଂ ଯାପିତୱନ୍ତଃ|
36 After some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”
କତିପଯଦିନେଷୁ ଗତେଷୁ ପୌଲୋ ବର୍ଣବ୍ବାମ୍ ଅୱଦତ୍ ଆଗଚ୍ଛାୱାଂ ଯେଷୁ ନଗରେଷ୍ୱୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ସୁସଂୱାଦଂ ପ୍ରଚାରିତୱନ୍ତୌ ତାନି ସର୍ୱ୍ୱନଗରାଣି ପୁନର୍ଗତ୍ୱା ଭ୍ରାତରଃ କୀଦୃଶାଃ ସନ୍ତୀତି ଦ୍ରଷ୍ଟୁଂ ତାନ୍ ସାକ୍ଷାତ୍ କୁର୍ୱ୍ୱଃ|
37 Barnabas planned to take John, who was called Mark, with them also.
ତେନ ମାର୍କନାମ୍ନା ୱିଖ୍ୟାତଂ ଯୋହନଂ ସଙ୍ଗିନଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ବର୍ଣବ୍ବା ମତିମକରୋତ୍,
38 But Paul didn’t think that it was a good idea to take with them someone who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia, and didn’t go with them to do the work.
କିନ୍ତୁ ସ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ତାଭ୍ୟାଂ ସହ କାର୍ୟ୍ୟାର୍ଥଂ ନ ଗତ୍ୱା ପାମ୍ଫୂଲିଯାଦେଶେ ତୌ ତ୍ୟକ୍ତୱାନ୍ ତତ୍କାରଣାତ୍ ପୌଲସ୍ତଂ ସଙ୍ଗିନଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୁମ୍ ଅନୁଚିତଂ ଜ୍ଞାତୱାନ୍|
39 Then the contention grew so sharp that they separated from each other. Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus,
ଇତ୍ଥଂ ତଯୋରତିଶଯୱିରୋଧସ୍ୟୋପସ୍ଥିତତ୍ୱାତ୍ ତୌ ପରସ୍ପରଂ ପୃଥଗଭୱତାଂ ତତୋ ବର୍ଣବ୍ବା ମାର୍କଂ ଗୃହୀତ୍ୱା ପୋତେନ କୁପ୍ରୋପଦ୍ୱୀପଂ ଗତୱାନ୍;
40 but Paul chose Silas and went out, being commended by the brothers to the grace of God.
