Acts 15
1 Some men came down from Judea and taught the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised after the custom of Moses, you can’t be saved.”

2 Therefore when Paul and Barnabas had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul, Barnabas, and some others of them to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.
Sa dihang si Pablo ug si Barnabas adunay dili pag-uyon ug paglantugi uban kanila, ang mga kaigsoonan nakahukom nga si Pablo, Barnabas, ug ang pipila sa uban kinahanglan motungas sa Jerusalem ngadto sa mga apostoles ug sa mga kadagkoan mahitungod niini nga pangutana.
3 They, being sent on their way by the assembly, passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles. They caused great joy to all the brothers.
Busa sila, nga pinadala sa simbahan, susamang milabay sa Phoenicia ug sa Samaria ug gipahibalo ang pagkakabig sa mga Gentil; ilang gidala ang hingpit nga kalipay ngadto sa mga kaigsoonan.
4 When they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the assembly and the apostles and the elders, and they reported everything that God had done with them.

5 But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.”
Apan pipila sa mga lalaki nga nagtuo, nga nahisakop sa pundok sa mga Pariseo, mitindog ug miingon, “Kinahanglan nga magpatuli sila ug sa pagsugo kanila sa pagbantay sa balaod ni Moises.”
6 The apostles and the elders were gathered together to see about this matter.

7 When there had been much discussion, Peter rose up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that a good while ago God made a choice among you that by my mouth the nations should hear the word of the Good News and believe.

8 God, who knows the heart, testified about them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just like he did to us.
Ang Dios, nga maoy nakabalo sa kasingkasing, nagsaksi kanila, naghatag kanila sa Balaang Espiritu, sama sa iyang gibuhat kanato;
9 He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

10 Now therefore why do you tempt God, that you should put a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
Unya karon nganong inyong gisulayan ang Dios, nga kinahanglan inyong ibutang ang yugo sa liog sa mga disipulo nga bisan ang atong mga amahan ni bisan kita dili makahimo pagdala?
11 But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they are.”
Apan kita nagtuo nga kita naluwas pinaagi sa grasya ni Ginoong Jesus, sama kanila.”
12 All the multitude kept silence, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul reporting what signs and wonders God had done among the nations through them.
Ang tanan nga katawhan nagpabilin sa paghilom samtang sila naminaw kang Barnabas ug Pablo nga nagsaysay sa mga timailhan ug mga kahibulongan nga gibuhat sa Dios taliwala sa mga Gentil pinaagi kanila.
13 After they were silent, James answered, “Brothers, listen to me.

14 Simeon has reported how God first visited the nations to take out of them a people for his name.
Si Simon nag-ingon unsa ka maluluy-on ang Dios pagtabang sa mga Gentil aron sa pagkuha gikan kanila nga usa ka katawhan alang sa iyang ngalan.
15 This agrees with the words of the prophets. As it is written,
Ang mga pulong sa mga propeta nag-uyon niini, ingon nga kini nahisulat.
16 ‘After these things I will return. I will again build the tabernacle of David, which has fallen. I will again build its ruins. I will set it up
Pagkahuman niining mga butanga ako mobalik. Ug akong tukuron pag-usab ang barongbarong ni David, nga nahulog; ako kining ipatindog ug ipasig-uli pag-usab.
17 that the rest of men may seek after the Lord: all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the Lord, who does all these things.’
Kay aron ang nahibilin sa mga tawo mangita sa Ginoo, lakip ang tanang mga Gentil nga gitawag pinaagi sa akong ngalan.
Mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoo, nga maoy naghimo nining karaang mga butang nga mailhan. (aiōn g165)
19 Therefore my judgment is that we don’t trouble those from among the Gentiles who turn to God,
Busa, ang akong hunahuna mao, nga kinahanglan dili na nato samukon kadtong mga Gentil nga midawat sa Dios;
20 but that we write to them that they abstain from the pollution of idols, from sexual immorality, from what is strangled, and from blood.
apan kita magsulat ngadto kanila nga kinahanglan magdumili sila gikan sa mahugaw nga mga diosdios, gikan sa malaw-ay nga pakighilawas, ug gikan sa unsang linuok, ug gikan sa dugo.
21 For Moses from generations of old has in every city those who preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”
Alang kang Moises gikan sa karaang mga kaliwatan adunay mga tawo sa matag siyudad nga nagasangyaw ug nagabasa kaniya ngadto sa sinagoga matag Adlaw nga Igpapahulay.”
22 Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole assembly, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men among the brothers.
Unya kini daw maayo ngadto sa mga apostoles ug sa mga kadagkoan, uban ang tibuok simbahan, sa pagpili kang Judas Barsabbas ug Silas, mga pangulo sa simbahan, ug ipadala sila sa Antioquia uban kang Pablo ug Barnabas.
23 They wrote these things by their hand: “The apostles, the elders, and the brothers, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: greetings.
Sila misulat niini, “Ang mga apostoles, mga kadagkoan ug mga kaigsoonan, ngadto sa mga Gentil nga mga kaigsoonan sa Antioch, Syria ug Cilicia, mga pagtimbaya.
24 Because we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, ‘You must be circumcised and keep the law,’ to whom we gave no commandment;
Kami nakadungog nga ang pipila ka mga lalaki nga wala namo gihatagan ug igong sugo, migawas gikan kanamo ug nagsamok kaninyo uban sa mga pagtudlo nga nakahimo pagsamok sa inyong mga kalag.
25 it seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose out men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
Busa daw kini maayo kanatong tanan sa pag-uyon sa pagpili sa mga lalaki ug ipadala sila kaninyo uban ang among hinigugmang Barnabas ug Pablo,
26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
mga tawo nga anaa sa kuyaw ang ilang kinabuhi alang sa pangalan sa atong Ginoong Jesu-Cristo.
27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who themselves will also tell you the same things by word of mouth.
Busa among ipadala si Judas ug Silas, nga maoy magsulti usab kaninyo sa susamang mga butang.
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay no greater burden on you than these necessary things:
Kay kini daw mas maayo ngadto sa Balaang Espiritu ug kanato, sa pagbutang diha kaninyo nga walay dakong palas-anon kay sa niining mga mahinungdanong mga butang:
29 that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality, from which if you keep yourselves, it will be well with you. Farewell.”
nga kamo mobiya gikan sa mga butang nga gihalad sa mga diosdios, dugo, sa mga butang nga linuok, ug gikan sa malaw-ay nga pakighilawas. Kung magbantay kamo sa inyong kaugalingon gikan niini, kini makaayo gayod kaninyo. Panamilit.”
30 So, when they were sent off, they came to Antioch. Having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter.
Busa sila, sa dihang sila nagbulagbulag na, miabot didto sa Antioch; pagkahuman ilang gitapok ang pundok sa katawhan, ug ilang gipadala ang sulat.
31 When they had read it, they rejoiced over the encouragement.

32 Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged the brothers with many words and strengthened them.
Si Judas ug si Silas, ug ang mga propeta usab, nagdasig sa mga kaigsoonan uban sa daghang mga pulong ug naglig-on kanila.
33 After they had spent some time there, they were dismissed in peace from the brothers to the apostles.
Pagkahuman nila ug gahin sa pipila ka higayon didto, sila gipadala diha sa kalinaw gikan sa mga kaigsoonan alang adtong nagpadala kanila.
Ang labing maayong karaang kopya giwala sa bersikulo 34 ( tan-awa sa Buhat 15: 40). Bersikulo 34, Apan kini daw maayo nga si Silas magpabilin didto.
35 But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.
Apan si Pablo ug Barnabas nagpabilin sa Antioch uban ang kadaghanan, diin sila nagtudlo ug nagwali sa pulong sa Ginoo.
36 After some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”
Pagkahuman sa pipila ka mga adlaw si Pablo miingon ngadto kang Barnabas, “Mamalik na kita karon ug duawon ang mga kaigsoonan sa kada siyudad diin kita nagmantala sa pulong sa Ginoo, ug pagtan-aw kung naunsa sila.
37 Barnabas planned to take John, who was called Mark, with them also.
Si Barnabas buot usab nga ubanon si Juan nga gitawag ug Marcos uban kanila.
38 But Paul didn’t think that it was a good idea to take with them someone who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia, and didn’t go with them to do the work.
Apan si Pablo naghunahuna nga dili maayo ubanon si Marcos, nga maoy mibiya kanila gikan sa Pamphylia ug dugang pa wala na mikuyog kanila sa pagpamuhat.
39 Then the contention grew so sharp that they separated from each other. Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus,
Unya didto miulbo ang hait nga panagsumpaki, busa sila nagbulag gikan sa matag-usa, ug si Barnabas gidala si Marcos uban kaniya ug milawig palayo sa Cyprus.
40 but Paul chose Silas and went out, being commended by the brothers to the grace of God.
Apan si Pablo gipili si Silas ug mibiya, pagkahuman siya gitugyan pinaagi sa mga kaigsoonan sa grasya sa Ginoo.
41 He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the assemblies.
Ug siya miadto padulong sa Syria ug Cilicia, naglig-on sa mga kasimbahanan.
