2 Timothy 3

1 But know this: that in the last days, grievous times will come.

೧ಆದರೆ ಕಡೆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಠಿಣಕಾಲಗಳು ಬರುವವೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ.

2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

೨ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥಚಿಂತಕರೂ, ಹಣದಾಸೆಯವರೂ, ಬಡಾಯಿಕೊಚ್ಚುವವರೂ, ಅಹಂಕಾರಿಗಳೂ, ದೂಷಕರೂ, ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರೂ, ಉಪಕಾರ ನೆನಸದವರೂ, ದೇವಭಯವಿಲ್ಲದವರೂ,

3 without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good,

೩ಮಮತೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವರೂ, ಸಮಾಧಾನಹೊಂದದವರೂ, ಚಾಡಿಹೇಳುವವರೂ, ದಮೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವರೂ, ಕ್ರೂರರೂ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರೂ,

4 traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

೪ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳೂ, ದುಡುಕುವವರೂ, ದುರಹಂಕಾರವುಳ್ಳವರೂ, ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಭೋಗವನ್ನೇ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರೂ,

5 holding a form of godliness but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also.

೫ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ವೇಷವಿದ್ದು ಅದರ ಬಲವನ್ನು ಬೇಡವೆನ್ನುವವರೂ ಆಗಿರುವರು. ಇಂಥವರ ಸಹವಾಸವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡದಿರು.

6 For some of these are people who creep into houses and take captive gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,

೬ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನುಸುಳಿ, ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದವರೂ, ನಾನಾ ವಿಧವಾದ ಆಸೆಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇರಿತರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಅವಿವೇಕಿಗಳಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು ವಶಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು ಆಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

೭ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಉಪದೇಶ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಸತ್ಯದ ಪರಿಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಲಾರದವರು.

8 Even as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind, who concerning the faith are rejected.

೮ಯನ್ನ, ಯಂಬ್ರ ಎಂಬವರು ಮೋಶೆಯನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಸಹ ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರೂ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಷ್ಪ್ರಯೋಜಕರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

9 But they will proceed no further. For their folly will be evident to all men, as theirs also came to be.

೯ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಆ ಯನ್ನ ಯಂಬ್ರರ ಮೂರ್ಖತನವು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇವರದೂ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗುವುದು.

10 But you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,

೧೦ನೀನಾದರೋ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನನ್ನ ಬೋಧನೆ, ನಡತೆ, ಉದ್ದೇಶ, ನಂಬಿಕೆ, ದೀರ್ಘಶಾಂತಿ, ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಸೈರಣೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೂ,

11 persecutions, and sufferings—those things that happened to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. I endured those persecutions. The Lord delivered me out of them all.

೧೧ಅಂತಿಯೋಕ್ಯ, ಇಕೋನ್ಯ, ಲುಸ್ತ್ರ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಹಿಂಸೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕಷ್ಟಾನುಭವಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿದವನಾಗಿದ್ದೀ. ನಾನು ಎಂಥೆಂಥ ಹಿಂಸೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು, ಅವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳೊಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು.

12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

೧೨ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸದ್ಭಕ್ತರಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹಿಂಸೆಗೊಳಗಾಗುವರು.

13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

೧೩ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟರೂ, ವಂಚಕರೂ ಇತರರನ್ನು ಮೋಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ತಾವೇ ಮೋಸಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವರು.

14 But you remain in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them.

೧೪ನೀನಾದರೋ ಕಲಿತು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಂಬಿದ ಬೋಧನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿರು. ಕಲಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟವರು ಯಾರೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಆಲೋಚಿಸು.

15 From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

೧೫ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಗ್ರಂಥಗಳ ಪರಿಚಯವಾಗಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ. ಆ ಗ್ರಂಥಗಳು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಹೊಂದುವ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತವಾಗಿವೆ.

16 Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness,

೧೬ದೈವ ಪ್ರೇರಿತವಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವು ಉಪದೇಶಕ್ಕೂ, ಖಂಡನೆಗೂ, ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿಗೂ, ನೀತಿಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೂ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ.

17 that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

೧೭ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಬಲ್ಲವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸಕಲಸತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಸನ್ನದ್ಧನಾಗುವನು.
