2 Samuel 22
1 David spoke to Yahweh the words of this song in the day that Yahweh delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul,
യഹോവ ദാവീദിനെ സകലശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും ശൌലിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും വിടുവിച്ചശേഷം അവൻ യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു സംഗീതംപാടി ചൊല്ലിയതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
2 and he said: “Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, even mine;
യഹോവ എന്റെ ശൈലവും എൻ കോട്ടയും എന്റെ രക്ഷകനും ആകുന്നു.
3 God is my rock in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge. My savior, you save me from violence.
എന്റെ പാറയായ ദൈവം; അവനിൽ ഞാൻ ആശ്രയിക്കും; എന്റെ പരിചയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയായ കൊമ്പും എന്റെ ഗോപുരവും എന്റെ സങ്കേതവും തന്നേ. എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ എന്നെ സാഹസത്തിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
4 I call on Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.
സ്തുത്യനായ യഹോവയെ ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളിൽനിന്നു താൻ എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കും.
5 For the waves of death surrounded me. The floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
മരണത്തിന്റെ തിരമാല എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു; ദുഷ്ടതയുടെ പ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിച്ചു;
പാതാളപാശങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ചുഴന്നു; മരണത്തിന്റെ കണികൾ എന്റെമേൽ വീണു. (Sheol h7585)
7 In my distress, I called on Yahweh. Yes, I called to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry came into his ears.
എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചു, എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു തന്നേ നിലവിളിച്ചു, അവൻ തന്റെ മന്ദിരത്തിൽനിന്നു എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു; എന്റെ നിലവിളി അവന്റെ ചെവികളിൽ എത്തി.
8 Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations of heaven quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.
ഭൂമി ഞെട്ടി വിറെച്ചു, ആകാശത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ ഇളകി, അവൻ കോപിക്കയാൽ അവ കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോയി.
9 Smoke went up out of his nostrils. Consuming fire came out of his mouth. Coals were kindled by it.
അവന്റെ മൂക്കിൽനിന്നു പുക പൊങ്ങി, അവന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു തീ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു, തീക്കനൽ അവങ്കൽനിന്നു ജ്വലിച്ചു.
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down. Thick darkness was under his feet.
അവൻ ആകാശം ചായിച്ചിറങ്ങി; കൂരിരുൾ അവന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
11 He rode on a cherub, and flew. Yes, he was seen on the wings of the wind.
അവൻ കെരൂബിനെ വാഹനമാക്കി പറന്നു, കാറ്റിൻ ചിറകിന്മേൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.
12 He made darkness a shelter around himself, gathering of waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
അവൻ അന്ധകാരം തനിക്കു ചുറ്റും മണ്ഡപമാക്കി; ജലാശയവും കനത്ത മേഘങ്ങളും കൂടെ.
13 At the brightness before him, coals of fire were kindled.
അവന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള പ്രകാശത്താൽ തീക്കനൽ ജ്വലിച്ചു.
14 Yahweh thundered from heaven. The Most High uttered his voice.
യഹോവ ആകാശത്തിൽ ഇടിമുഴക്കി, അത്യുന്നതൻ തന്റെ നാദം കേൾപ്പിച്ചു.
15 He sent out arrows and scattered them, lightning and confused them.
അവൻ അസ്ത്രം എയ്തു അവരെ ചിതറിച്ചു, മിന്നൽ അയച്ചു അവരെ തോല്പിച്ചു.
16 Then the channels of the sea appeared. The foundations of the world were laid bare by Yahweh’s rebuke, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
യഹോവയുടെ ഭത്സനത്താൽ, തിരുമൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ഊത്തിനാൽ കടലിന്റെ ചാലുകൾ കാണായ്‌വന്നു ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ വെളിപ്പെട്ടു.
17 He sent from on high and he took me. He drew me out of many waters.
അവൻ ഉയരത്തിൽനിന്നു കൈനീട്ടി എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു, പെരുവെള്ളത്തിൽനിന്നു എന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുത്തു.
18 He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me.
ബലമുള്ള ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ പകെച്ചവരുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; അവർ എന്നിലും ബലമേറിയവർ ആയിരുന്നു.
19 They came on me in the day of my calamity, but Yahweh was my support.
എന്റെ അനൎത്ഥദിവസത്തിൽ അവർ എന്നെ ആക്രമിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എനിക്കു തുണയായിരുന്നു.
20 He also brought me out into a large place. He delivered me, because he delighted in me.
അവൻ എന്നെ വിശാലതയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു, എന്നിൽ പ്രസാദിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.
21 Yahweh rewarded me according to my righteousness. He rewarded me according to the cleanness of my hands.
യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പ്രതിഫലം നല്കി, എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ വെടിപ്പിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പകരം തന്നു.
22 For I have kept Yahweh’s ways, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ വഴികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു, എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തതുമില്ല.
23 For all his ordinances were before me. As for his statutes, I didn’t depart from them.
അവന്റെ വിധികൾ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ മുമ്പിലുണ്ടു; അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ വിട്ടുനടന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.
24 I was also perfect toward him. I kept myself from my iniquity.
ഞാൻ അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു, അകൃത്യം ചെയ്യാതെ എന്നെ തന്നേ കാത്തു.
25 Therefore Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness, According to my cleanness in his eyesight.
യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണവും അവന്റെ കാഴ്ചയിൽ എന്റെ നിൎമ്മലതെക്കൊത്തവണ്ണവും എനിക്കു പകരം നല്കി.
26 With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man you will show yourself perfect.
ദയാലുവോടു നീ ദയാലുവാകുന്നു; നിഷ്കളങ്കനോടു നീ നിഷ്കളങ്കൻ.
27 With the pure you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.
നിൎമ്മലനോടു നീ നിൎമ്മലനാകുന്നു; വക്രനോടു നീ വക്രത കാണിക്കുന്നു.
28 You will save the afflicted people, but your eyes are on the arrogant, that you may bring them down.
എളിയ ജനത്തെ നീ രക്ഷിക്കും; നിഗളിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവരെ താഴ്ത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കുന്നു.
29 For you are my lamp, Yahweh. Yahweh will light up my darkness.
യഹോവേ, നീ എന്റെ ദീപം ആകുന്നു; യഹോവ എന്റെ അന്ധകാരത്തെ പ്രകാശമാക്കും.
30 For by you, I run against a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.
നിന്നാൽ ഞാൻ പടക്കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലും; എന്റെ ദൈവത്താൽ ഞാൻ മതിൽ ചാടിക്കടക്കും.
31 As for God, his way is perfect. Yahweh’s word is tested. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി തികവുള്ളതു, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം ഊതിക്കഴിച്ചതു; തന്നെ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന ഏവൎക്കും അവൻ പരിച ആകുന്നു.
32 For who is God, besides Yahweh? Who is a rock, besides our God?
യഹോവയല്ലാതെ ദൈവം ആരുള്ളു? നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം ഒഴികെ പാറ ആരുള്ളു?
33 God is my strong fortress. He makes my way perfect.
ദൈവം എന്റെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള കോട്ട, നിഷ്കളങ്കനെ അവൻ വഴിനടത്തുന്നു.
34 He makes his feet like hinds’ feet, and sets me on my high places.
അവൻ എന്റെ കാലുകളെ മാൻപേടക്കാല്ക്കു തുല്യമാക്കി എന്റെ ഗിരികളിൽ എന്നെ നില്ക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.
35 He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.
അവൻ എന്റെ കൈകൾക്കു യുദ്ധാഭ്യാസം വരുത്തുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങൾ താമ്രചാപം കുലെക്കുന്നു.
36 You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your gentleness has made me great.
നിന്റെ രക്ഷ എന്ന പരിചയെ നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ സൌമ്യത എന്നെ വലിയവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
37 You have enlarged my steps under me. My feet have not slipped.
ഞാൻ കാലടിവെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ വിശാലത വരുത്തി; എന്റെ നരിയാണികൾ വഴുതിപ്പോയതുമില്ല.
38 I have pursued my enemies and destroyed them. I didn’t turn again until they were consumed.
ഞാൻ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ പിന്തുടൎന്നൊടുക്കി അവരെ മുടിക്കുവോളം ഞാൻ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല.
39 I have consumed them, and struck them through, so that they can’t arise. Yes, they have fallen under my feet.
അവൎക്കു എഴുന്നേറ്റുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവരെ തകൎത്തൊടുക്കി, അവർ എന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴിൽ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.
40 For you have armed me with strength for the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
യുദ്ധത്തിന്നായി നീ എന്റെ അരെക്കു ശക്തി കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിൎത്തവരെ എനിക്കു കീഴടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
41 You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ സംഹരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ എനിക്കു പുറം കാട്ടുമാറാക്കി.
42 They looked, but there was no one to save; even to Yahweh, but he didn’t answer them.
അവർ ചുറ്റും നോക്കിയെങ്കിലും രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു നോക്കി, അവൻ ഉത്തരം അരുളിയതുമില്ല.
43 Then I beat them as small as the dust of the earth. I crushed them as the mire of the streets, and spread them abroad.
ഞാൻ അവരെ നിലത്തിലെ പൊടിപോലെ പൊടിച്ചു, വീഥികളിലെ ചെളിയെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ അവരെ ചവിട്ടി ചിതറിച്ചു.
44 You also have delivered me from the strivings of my people. You have kept me to be the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known will serve me.
എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ കലഹങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു, ജാതികൾക്കു എന്നെ തലവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അറിയാത്ത ജനം എന്നെ സേവിക്കുന്നു.
45 The foreigners will submit themselves to me. As soon as they hear of me, they will obey me.
അന്യജാതിക്കാർ എന്നോടു അനസരണഭാവം കാണിക്കും; അവർ കേട്ട മാത്രെക്കു എന്നെ അനുസരിക്കും.
46 The foreigners will fade away, and will come trembling out of their close places.
അന്യജാതിക്കാർ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ ദുൎഗ്ഗങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു അവർ വിറെച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു.
47 Yahweh lives! Blessed be my rock! Exalted be God, the rock of my salvation,
യഹോവ ജീവിക്കുന്നു; എൻ പാറ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ. എൻ രക്ഷയുടെ പാറയായ ദൈവം ഉന്നതൻ തന്നേ.
48 even the God who executes vengeance for me, who brings down peoples under me,
ദൈവം എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്കയും ജാതികളെ എനിക്കു കീഴാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
49 who brings me away from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.
അവൻ ശത്രുവശത്തുനിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിൎക്കുന്നവർക്കു മീതെ നീ എന്നെ ഉയൎത്തുന്നു; സാഹസക്കാരന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.
50 Therefore I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.
അതുകൊണ്ടു, യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും, നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഞാൻ കീൎത്തിക്കും.
51 He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.”
അവൻ തന്റെ രാജാവിന്നു മഹാരക്ഷ നല്കുന്നു; തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്നു ദയ കാണിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിന്നും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നെന്നേക്കും തന്നേ.
