< 2 Peter 3 >

1 This is now, beloved, the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by reminding you
Achanbasa, masi eina nakhoida i-ba anisuba chithini. Chithi animak asida eina nakhoibu hiramsing asi ningsinghanningduna nakhoigi pukningda asengba wakhal khalhannanaba hotnakhibani.
2 that you should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior,
Tengban Mapugi wa phongdokpa asengba maichousingna mamangngeida haikhiba wasing amadi MAPU IBUNGO amasung Kanbiba Mapuna nakhoigi pakhonchatpasinggi mapanna pikhiba yathangsing adu nakhoina ningsingba eina pammi.
3 knowing this first, that in the last days mockers will come, walking after their own lusts
Aroiba numitsingda karemnaba mising lakkani, karemnagani amadi makhoigi masagi phattaba apambasinggi matung in-gani haibasi nakhoina khanggadabani.
4 and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”
Aduga makhoina hanggani, “Mahakna ‘lakkani’ wasakkhiba adu kadaida leire? Eikhoigi ipa ipusingna sikhiba matamdagi, taibangpan asi leisemngeidagi leiramba pot pumnamak hanagumna adumak leiri.”
5 For they willfully forget that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water by the word of God,
Mamangngeida Tengban Mapugi waheigi mapanna swarga semkhibani aduga malemna isingdagi isingna semkhibani haibasi makhoina masi kaoge haina kaobani.
6 by which means the world that existed then, being overflowed with water, perished.
Ising adunasu matam adugi taibangpanbu ising ichaona manghankhi.
7 But the heavens that exist now and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
Adubu wahei adumakna houjik leiriba swarga amasung malem asibu meigidamak khaktuna thamli, wayennaba amasung Tengban Mapu ningdabasingbu manghan-gadaba numit adugidamak khaktuna thamli.
8 But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Adubu achanbasa, masimadi nakhoina kaoganu: Mapu Ibungogi maphamdadi nongma habasi chahi lising amagumbani, aduga chahi lising ama haibasi nongmagumbani.
9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Mi kharana tappa oina singthanabagumna, Mapu Ibungona mahakki wasak ngakpada tapthaba natte. Adubu mi amatabu manghanningdaduna, mi pumnamakna pukning honglakpa pamduna Ibungona kuina khaangbiribani.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat; and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
Adubu Mapu Ibungogi Numit adu huranbana lakpagumna lakkani. Numit aduda swarga yamna nin khongbaga loinna mangkhigani; atiya malemgi machak mathum pumnamak meina manghankhigani, aduga malem amasung madugi manungda leiba pot khudingmak iphong phonggani.
11 Therefore, since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,
Pot pumnamak asumna mangkhigadaba maramna, nakhoi karamba mioi ama oiba tabano? Nakhoina asengba punsi amasung Tengban Mapu ningba punsi ama hingba tabani,
12 looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, which will cause the burning heavens to be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
nakhoina Tengban Mapugi Numit adu ngaiduna amasung madu thuna laknaba nakhoigi angamba hotnou Numit aduda swarga meina chaktuna mangkhini amasung nongmadon atiyada leiba machak mathum pumnamak meisana soudokkhigani.
13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
Adubu Ibungogi wasak adugi matung-inna achumba chatpasingna leigadaba anouba swarga amasung anouba malem ama eikhoina ngaijari.
14 Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight.
Maram aduna, achanbasa, nakhoina Numit adu ngairingeida Tengban Mapugi mityengda asengba amadi asoiba leitaba aduga Ibungo mahakka ingthana leinaba nakhoina ngamba makhei hotnou.
15 Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you,
Eikhoigi Mapu Ibungona kuina khaangbiba haibasi aran-khubhamni haibasi wakhalda ningsing-u, eikhoigi achanba ichil inao Paul-nasu Tengban Mapuna mangonda pibiba lousing adu sijinnaduna nakhoida ikhibagumbani.
16 as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
Mahakki chithi pumnamakta hiram asigi maramda mahakna i-ri. Mahakki chithisingda khangbada waba kharasu yao-i adubu khangdaba amasung areppa leitaba misingna Mapugi Puyada makhoina toubagumna onateinahalli. Maduna maram oiraga makhoina masagi mathakta mangtakpa pujarak-i.
17 You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness.
Aduna achanbasa, nakhoina hiramsing asi hannana khangba maramna wayel yaodaba misinggi aranbana nakhoibu chingkhiduna nakhoigi achetpa maphamdagi takhidanaba cheksillu.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Adubu thoujalda amadi eikhoigi Mapu Ibungo amasung Kanbiba Mapu Jisu Christtabu khangbada mathang mathang chaokhatpa oiyu. Houjik amasung lomba naidana Ibungoda matik mangal leiba oisanu! Amen. (aiōn g165)
