< 2 Corinthians 1 >

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the assembly of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:
PAULUJ wanporon en Iejuj Krijtuj amen pan kupur en Kot o ri atail Timoteuj on momodijou en Kot, me mi Korint o jaraui kan karoj, me mi Akaia.
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Mak o popol jan ren Kot Jam atail o atail Kaun Iejuj Krijtuj en mi re omail.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
Meid iajanai Kot o Jam en atail Kaun Iejuj Krijtuj, o Jam en kalanan, o Kot en kamait pokon,
4 who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Me kin kamakamait kit ni at kamekam kan karoj, pwe kit en pil kak kamait ir ala, me mi nan jon en kamekam akan karoj, ki kamait, me kit kamait kila ren Kot.
5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ.
Pwe duen Krijtuj a kamekam me muladok on kit, iduen kamait ren Krijtuj pil itar penan kit.
6 But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer.
A ma kit pai olar, nan a kin wiaui, pwen kamait o kamaur komail la, mepukat kin wiaui ni omail kanonama ni kalokolok ota, me kit kin kalokolokki.
7 Our hope for you is steadfast, knowing that, since you are partakers of the sufferings, so you are also of the comfort.
O at kaporopor kin komail me teneten, pwe je aja, ma komail ian kamekam, komail pil pan ian kamaitala.
8 For we don’t desire to have you uninformed, brothers, concerning our affliction which happened to us in Asia: that we were weighed down exceedingly, beyond our power, so much that we despaired even of life.
Ri ai ol akan, je jota men, komail en jaja duen at kamekam nan Ajien o at patau kaualap, lao jolar kaporopor en maur at.
9 Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead,
Ari, kit lamedar, me je pan mela. A mepukat wiauier, pwe jen der keleki pein kit, pwe Kot eta, me kin kaiajada me melar akan.
10 who delivered us out of so great a death, and does deliver, on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us,
Me kotin dore kit ala jan mela wet, o a pil pan dore kit ala; o je kaporoporeki, me a pil pan kotin dore kit ala kokolata.
11 you also helping together on our behalf by your supplication; that, for the gift given to us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on your behalf.
Komail pil jauaja kit ni omail nidinid, pwe me toto en danke pweki at pai me je aleer.
12 For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
Pwe iet kapin pat: Injen at kin kadede on kit, me je weweideki karakarak o melel en Kot nin jappa o nan pun omail, kaidin ni lolekon en pali uduk, a ki mak en Kot.
13 For we write no other things to you than what you read or even acknowledge, and I hope you will acknowledge to the end—
At intin won komail kaidin toror jan me komail kin wadok o kamelele. A i kaporoporeki me komail pan kamelele kit kokolata duen akai komail kamelele kit er.
14 as also you acknowledged us in part—that we are your boasting, even as you also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.
Pwe kit me kapin pa omail, dueta komail me kapin pat ni ran en Kaun Iejuj.
15 In this confidence, I was determined to come first to you, that you might have a second benefit,
A ni kaporopor wet, me i men pwar kilan komail maj o, pwe komail en pur on pereperen.
16 and by you to pass into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and to be sent forward by you on my journey to Judea.
I ap pan daulul lan komail ni ai pan kolan Majetonien, ap pil puredo re omail jan Majetonien, a komail pan kalua ia lan Iudiia.
17 When I therefore planned this, did I show fickleness? Or the things that I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be the “Yes, yes” and the “No, no?”
A iaduen, nai me japun ni ai kileledier mepukat? De i kin kileledi mepukat ni tiak en pali uduk, pwen ei ei o jo jo tapi jan pein nai?
18 But as God is faithful, our word toward you was not “Yes and no.”
A Kot me melel, pwe me je indan komail me jota ei o jo.
19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not “Yes and no,” but in him is “Yes.”
Pwe japwilim en Kot Iejuj Krijtuj, me kit padaki on komail er, nai, o Jilwanuj, o Timoteuj, I kaidin ei o jo, a ei eta re a,
20 For however many are the promises of God, in him is the “Yes.” Therefore also through him is the “Amen”, to the glory of God through us.
Pwe inau en Kot akan karoj me ei eta re a o me amen re a, pwe kit en kaliwanada Kot.
21 Now he who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God,
A me kin katinai kit o komail pan Krijtuj o keie kitail er, iei Kot,
22 who also sealed us and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.
Me pil kotin kileledier kitail o kotiki on kitail er komoan Nen nan monion atail.
23 But I call God for a witness to my soul, that to spare you, I didn’t come to Corinth.
A i kin likwir on Kot me jaunkadede en nen i, me i jaikenta pwara wow komail nan Korint, pwe i de katoutoui komail.
24 We don’t control your faith, but are fellow workers with you for your joy. For you stand firm in faith.
Kit jota men poedi omail pojon, a kit men jauaja ta omail peren, pwe komail keleki pojon.
