< 2 Chronicles 21 >

1 Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in David’s city; and Jehoram his son reigned in his place.
Jozafati akendeki kokutana na bakoko na ye, mpe bakundaki ye esika moko na bakoko na ye kati na engumba ya Davidi. Yorami, mwana na ye ya mobali, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
2 He had brothers, the sons of Jehoshaphat: Azariah, Jehiel, Zechariah, Azariah, Michael, and Shephatiah. All these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel.
Tala bandeko mibali ya Yorami: Azaria, Yeyeli, Zakari, Azaria, Mikaeli mpe Shefatia. Bango nyonso bazalaki bana mibali ya Jozafati, mokonzi ya Isalaele.
3 Their father gave them great gifts of silver, of gold, and of precious things, with fortified cities in Judah; but he gave the kingdom to Jehoram, because he was the firstborn.
Tata na bango apesaki bango bakado ebele ya palata, ya wolo, ya biloko ya talo; apesaki bango lisusu bingumba batonga makasi kati na Yuda, kasi apesaki bokonzi epai ya Yorami mpo ete azalaki mwana na ye ya liboso ya mobali.
4 Now when Jehoram had risen up over the kingdom of his father, and had strengthened himself, he killed all his brothers with the sword, and also some of the princes of Israel.
Tango Yorami azwaki bokonzi ya tata na ye mpe alendaki na bokonzi yango, abomaki na mopanga bandeko na ye nyonso ya mibali elongo na ndambo ya bakambi ya Isalaele.
5 Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.
Yorami azalaki na mibu tuku misato na mibale ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mibu mwambe na Yelusalemi.
6 He walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did Ahab’s house, for he had Ahab’s daughter as his wife. He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight.
Alandaki nzela oyo bakonzi ya Isalaele batambolaki na yango mpe asalaki mabe na miso ya Yawe ndenge libota ya Akabi esalaki, pamba te abalaki mwana mwasi ya Akabi.
7 However Yahweh would not destroy David’s house, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a lamp to him and to his children always.
Nzokande, Yawe alingaki te kobebisa libota ya Davidi, mpo na boyokani oyo Ye moko Yawe asalaki elongo na Davidi, mpe mpo ete alakaki kopesa mpo na libela bokonzi epai ya Davidi mpe epai ya bana na ye.
8 In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and made a king over themselves.
Na tango oyo Yorami azalaki na bokonzi, bato ya Edomi batombokelaki Yuda mpe bamipesaki mokonzi.
9 Then Jehoram went there with his captains and all his chariots with him. He rose up by night and struck the Edomites who surrounded him, along with the captains of the chariots.
Yorami akendeki kuna elongo na bakonzi na ye ya basoda mpe bashar na ye nyonso. Na butu, atelemaki mpe abetaki bato ya Edomi oyo bazingelaki ye elongo na bakonzi ya basoda oyo babundaka na bashar.
10 So Edom has been in revolt from under the hand of Judah to this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time from under his hand, because he had forsaken Yahweh, the God of his fathers.
Wuta mokolo wana kino lelo, Edomi etombokelaka kaka Yuda. Na tango wana, Libina mpe etombokelaki Yorami, pamba te Yorami asundolaki Yawe, Nzambe ya batata na ye.
11 Moreover he made high places in the mountains of Judah, and made the inhabitants of Jerusalem play the prostitute, and led Judah astray.
Yorami atongaki kutu bisambelo ya likolo ya bangomba ya Yuda; atindikaki bato ya Yelusalemi na kosambela bikeko mpe apengwisaki Yuda.
12 A letter came to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, “Yahweh, the God of David your father, says, ‘Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah,
Yorami azwaki mokanda kowuta na mosakoli Eliya; ezalaki koloba: « Tala makambo oyo Yawe, Nzambe ya mokonzi na yo Davidi, alobi: ‹ Lokola olandi te ndakisa ya Jozafati, tata na yo, mpe ya Asa, mokonzi ya Yuda,
13 but have walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and have made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to play the prostitute like Ahab’s house did, and also have slain your brothers of your father’s house, who were better than yourself,
kasi olandi banzela ya bakonzi ya Isalaele, mpe otindiki bato ya Yuda mpe ya Yelusalemi na kosambela banzambe ya bikeko ndenge libota ya Akabi esalaki; lokola obomaki lisusu bandeko na yo ya mibali, bato ya ndako ya tata na yo, bato oyo bazalaki malamu koleka yo,
14 behold, Yahweh will strike your people with a great plague, including your children, your wives, and all your possessions;
Yawe alingi sik’oyo koboma, na nzela ya etumbu ya somo, bato na yo, bana na yo ya mibali, basi na yo mpe biloko na yo nyonso.
15 and you will have great sickness with a disease of your bowels, until your bowels fall out by reason of the sickness, day by day.’”
Yo moko mpe okobela bokono ya makasi, bokono ya libumu oyo pasi na yango ekomata se komata mikolo nyonso kino kobimisa yo misopo na libanda. › »
16 Yahweh stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines and of the Arabians who are beside the Ethiopians;
Yawe asalaki ete bato ya Filisitia mpe bato ya Arabi oyo bazalaki kovanda pembeni ya bato ya Kushi babundisa Yorami.
17 and they came up against Judah, broke into it, and carried away all the possessions that were found in the king’s house, including his sons and his wives, so that there was no son left to him except Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.
Babundisaki Yuda, bakotaki kati na yango na makasi mpe bamemaki biloko nyonso oyo bamonaki kati na ndako ya mokonzi elongo na bana na ye ya mibali mpe basi na ye; mwana mobali moko kaka atikalaki: Yoakazi, mwana na ye ya suka.
18 After all this Yahweh struck him in his bowels with an incurable disease.
Sima na makambo oyo nyonso, Yawe atindelaki ye bokono ya libumu oyo esilaka te.
19 In process of time, at the end of two years, his bowels fell out by reason of his sickness, and he died of severe diseases. His people made no burning for him, like the burning of his fathers.
Pasi na yango ezalaki mikolo nyonso komata se komata; mpe na suka ya mobu ya mibale, misopo ya Yorami ebimaki na libanda mpo na bokono mpe akufaki kati na pasi makasi. Bato na ye batumbaki te biloko ya solo kitoko mpo na kopesa ye lokumu ndenge basalaki mpo na batata na ye.
20 He was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years. He departed with no one’s regret. They buried him in David’s city, but not in the tombs of the kings.
Yorami azalaki na mibu tuku misato na mibale ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mibu mwambe na Yelusalemi. Akendeki kaka ndenge wana, moto ata moko te ayokaki mawa. Bakundaki ye kati na engumba ya Davidi, kasi kati na bakunda ya bakonzi te.
