< 1 Timothy 2 >

1 I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men,
Diawu, ndinlubudila tuamina mambu moso, bika theti ti zindombolo, zitsambulu, nata batu mu lusambulu ayi phutudulu yi matondo bivangama mu diambu di batu boso;
2 for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
mu diambu di mintinu ayi babo badi mu bibuangu bizangama muingi tuzinga luzingu lu ndembama ayi lu luvovomo mu khadulu yivedila ayi yi kambulu luvunu.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
Bila didi diambu di mboti ayi di monisanga Nzambi, Mvulusi eto, khini.
4 who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
Niandi tidi ti batu boso bavuka ayi batula ku diela di zabila mambu ma kiedika.
5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
Bila Nzambi yimosi kaka yidi, ayi, phovi yimosi kaka yidi va khatitsika Nzambi ayi batu; mutu beni Klisto Yesu.
6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time,
Wukiyekula niandi veka mu diambu di kula batu boso. Kiawu kioki kimbangi kitelomono mu thangu yifuana.
7 to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am telling the truth in Christ, not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
Mu bila kioki minu ndibiekolo nlongi ayi mvuala. Makiedika ndintuba; ndikadi vuna; nlongi kuidi Bapakanu mu minu ayi mu mambu ma kiedika.
8 I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.
Diawu thidi ti: babakala basambila mu bibuangu bioso ayi bavumunamioko miawu mivedila kuidi Nzambi mu kambu nganzi ayi ziphaka.
9 In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety, not with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing,
Thidi ti baketo bavuata minledi mu phuatulu yi mboti, mukukikulula ayi mu lukinzu. Babika viokisanga tezo mu khangusulu yi zitsuki, babika vuatanga bilunga bi nolo, minsanga voti minledi mithalu.
10 but with good works, which is appropriate for women professing godliness.
Vayi bika bavanga mavanga mamboti momo mamvanganga baketo bansadilanga Nzambi.
11 Let a woman learn in quietness with full submission.
Bufueni kuidi nketo mu longuka mu ndembama ayi mu bulemvo.
12 But I don’t permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
Ndikadi vana minsua kuidi nketo mu longa voti yadila bakala. Vayi bika kaba dio sui.
13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
Bila Adami niandi wuba wutheti mu vangu bosi Eva.
14 Adam wasn’t deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
Ayi Adami kasia vunu ko vayi nketo bu kavunu, wubua mu masumu.
15 but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness with sobriety.
Vayi wela vuka mu mbutulu yi bana enati bantatamana diatila mu minu mu luzolo, mu bunlongo ayi mu kukikulula.
