1 Thessalonians 5
1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that anything be written to you.
Valongo vitu, nakuganikiwa kuvayandikila kuvala lusenje na lukumbi lwa mambu aga pegihumila.
2 For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.
Muni mwavene mmanyili kuvya BAMBU yati ibwela chigafula ngati muhiji cheibwela kilu.
3 For when they are saying, “Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.
Vandu pevijova, “Kila chindu chitamili changali chitututu na uteke” Ndi uhakau paukuvagwilila chigafula! Mambu genago yati gihumila chigafula ngati lipyanda la mau mweigana kuveleka, kawaka mundu mweihotola kuyepa.
4 But you, brothers, aren’t in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief.
Nambu nyenye, valongo, muvi lepi pachitita, na ligono lenilo nakuganikiwa kuvabwelela chigafula ngati mundu mwaiyiva.
5 You are all children of light and children of the day. We don’t belong to the night, nor to darkness,
Mwavoha nyenye vandu mwemwitama palumuli, vandu vamuhi. Tete lepi tavandu va milima yingi vandu vangammanya Chapanga.
6 so then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.
Hinu, valongo tikotoka kugona lugono ngati vandu vangi, nambu tiganikiwa kuvya kujilola na kujitalalila tavete.
7 For those who sleep, sleep in the night; and those who are drunk are drunk in the night.
Ndava muni vevigona vigona kilu, na vevigala vigala kilu
8 But since we belong to the day, let’s be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
Nambu tete tavandu vamuhi na tiganikiwa kuvya na kujitalalila tavete. Tiganikiwa kuwala sadika na uganu kujova nyula ya kujikinga panganga, na huvalila yitu ya usangula ngati kofia ya lyuma ya kudivalila mitu yitu.
9 For God didn’t appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Muni Chapanga atihagwili lepi tikomiwa na ligoga laki, ndi tipata usangula kwa njila ya BAMBU witu Yesu Kilisitu
10 who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
ndi afwili ndava yitu, muni titama pamonga na mwene, yivya wumi amala tifwili lukumbi peibwela.
11 Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.
Hinu mpolesanayi mitima na kutangatilana nyenye kwa nyenye, ngati chamwikita hinu.
12 But we beg you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,
Valongo, tikuvayupa muvatopesa vala vevihenga lihengu pagati yinu, vala vevakuvalongosa na kuvawula kuvala kutama mukumsadika Kilisitu.
13 and to respect and honor them in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.
Muvatopesa neju na kuvagana ndava ya lihengu lavikita. Muvya na uteke pagati yinu.
14 We exhort you, brothers: Admonish the disorderly; encourage the faint-hearted; support the weak; be patient toward all.
Valongo, tikuvakofwa muvalapisa vandu vakata, muvakangamalisa mtima vandu vangolongondi, muvatangatila vandu vangali makakala, msindimala kwa vandu voha.
15 See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.
Mlola mundu yoyoha mlekekesanayi nyenye mwavene, muni mgana kuhengelana gabwina nyenye mwavene na kwa vandu voha.
16 Always rejoice.
Mheka magono goha,
17 Pray without ceasing.
muyupa Chapanga magono goha,
18 In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
na kuvya na usengula kwa kila chindu chechihumila. Genago ndi geigana Chapanga kuhuma kwinu mukuwungana kwinu na Kilisitu Yesu.
19 Don’t quench the Spirit.
Mkoto kujimisa motu wa Mpungu Msopi,
20 Don’t despise prophecies.
mkoto kuvevesa ujumbi kuhuma kwa Chapanga.
21 Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good.
Mlinga kila chindu. Mkamula chechivii chabwina,
22 Abstain from every form of evil.
muyepa uhakau wowoha.
23 May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Chapanga mwene mweakutipela uteke avanyambisa nyenye hoti kwa njila yoyoha. Na kuvatangatila mukuholalela kwinu na gemwinogela na muvindu vyoha vyemwihenga mkita genago goha changabuda mbaka peibwela BAMBU witu Yesu Kilisitu.
24 He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.
Chapanga mweakuvakemela nyenye yati itimilisa mambu ago muni mwene msadikika.
25 Brothers, pray for us.
Valongo vitu, mtiyupila na tete mewa.
26 Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.
Muvajambusa valongo voha kwa kulangisa mukuvagana.
27 I solemnly command you by the Lord that this letter be read to all the holy brothers.
Nikuvayupa neju kwa liina la BAMBU muvasomela vamsadika mu Kilisitu vitu voha balua iyi.
28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
Tikuvaganila ubwina wa Chapanga wa BAMBU witu Yesu Kilisitu.
