1 Peter 5
1 Therefore I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and who will also share in the glory that will be revealed:
ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย เกฺลศานำ สากฺษี ปฺรกาศิษฺยมาณสฺย ปฺรตาปสฺยำศี ปฺราจีนศฺจาหํ ยุษฺมากํ ปฺราจีนานฺ วินีเยทํ วทามิฯ
2 shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily; not for dishonest gain, but willingly;
ยุษฺมากํ มธฺยวรฺตฺตี ย อีศฺวรสฺย เมษวฺฤนฺโท ยูยํ ตํ ปาลยต ตสฺย วีกฺษณํ กุรุต จ, อาวศฺยกเตฺวน นหิ กินฺตุ เสฺวจฺฉาโต น ว กุโลเภน กินฺตฺวิจฺฉุกมนสาฯ
3 not as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.
อปรมฺ อํศานามฺ อธิการิณ อิว น ปฺรภวต กินฺตุ วฺฤนฺทสฺย ทฺฤษฺฏานฺตสฺวรูปา ภวตฯ
4 When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that doesn’t fade away.
เตน ปฺรธานปาลก อุปสฺถิเต ยูยมฺ อมฺลานํ เคารวกิรีฏํ ลปฺสฺยเธฺวฯ
5 Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility and subject yourselves to one another; for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
เห ยุวาน: , ยูยมปิ ปฺราจีนโลกานำ วศฺยา ภวต สรฺเวฺว จ สรฺเวฺวษำ วศีภูย นมฺรตาภรเณน ภูษิตา ภวต, ยต: ,อาตฺมาภิมานิโลกานำ วิปกฺโษ ภวตีศฺวร: ฯ กินฺตุ เตไนว นเมฺรภฺย: ปฺรสาทาทฺ ทียเต วร: ฯ
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time,
อโต ยูยมฺ อีศฺวรสฺย พลวตฺกรสฺยาโธ นมฺรีภูย ติษฺฐต เตน ส อุจิตสมเย ยุษฺมานฺ อุจฺจีกริษฺยติฯ
7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
ยูยํ สรฺวฺวจินฺตำ ตสฺมินฺ นิกฺษิปต ยต: ส ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺรติ จินฺตยติฯ
8 Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
ยูยํ ปฺรพุทฺธา ชาคฺรตศฺจ ติษฺฐต ยโต ยุษฺมากํ ปฺรติวาที ย: ศยตาน: ส ครฺชฺชนการี สึห อิว ปรฺยฺยฏนฺ กํ คฺรสิษฺยามีติ มฺฤคยเต,
9 Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.
อโต วิศฺวาเส สุสฺถิราสฺติษฺฐนฺตเสฺตน สารฺทฺธํ ยุธฺยต, ยุษฺมากํ ชคนฺนิวาสิภฺราตฺฤษฺวปิ ตาทฺฤศา: เกฺลศา วรฺตฺตนฺต อิติ ชานีตฯ
10 But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. (aiōnios g166)

12 Through Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I consider him, I have written to you briefly, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace of God in which you stand.

13 She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, greets you. So does Mark, my son.
ยุษฺมาภิ: สหาภิรุจิตา ยา สมิติ รฺพาพิลิ วิทฺยเต สา มม ปุโตฺร มารฺกศฺจ ยุษฺมานฺ นมสฺการํ เวทยติฯ
14 Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace be to all of you who are in Christ Jesus. Amen.
