Joshua 21
1 Then the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites came near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel.
És hozzámenének a Léviták atyai fejedelmei Eleázárhoz, a paphoz, és Józsuéhoz, a Nún fiához és az atyai fejedelmekhez, a kik valának Izráel fiainak nemzetségei felett,
2 They spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, “The LORD commanded through Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their pasture lands for our livestock.”
És szólának nékik Silóban, a Kanaán földén, mondván: Az Úr megparancsolta Mózes által, hogy adjatok nékünk városokat lakóhelyül, és azokhoz való legelőket barmaink részére.
3 The children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of the LORD, these cities with their pasture lands.
Adák azért Izráel fiai a Lévitáknak az ő örökségökből, az Úrnak rendelése szerint, ezeket a városokat és azoknak legelőit.
4 The lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. The children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had thirteen cities by lot out of the tribe of Judah, out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.
Esék pedig a sors a Kehátiták családjaira, és juta a Léviták közül való Áron pap fiainak a Júda nemzetségétől, a Simeon nemzetségétől és a Benjámin nemzetségétől sors szerint tizenhárom város;
5 The rest of the children of Kohath had ten cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.
Kehát többi fiainak pedig az Efraim nemzetségének családjaitól, Dán nemzetségétől és Manassé fél nemzetségétől sors szerint tíz város.
6 The children of Gershon had thirteen cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, out of the tribe of Asher, out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
A Gerson fiainak pedig az Issakhár nemzetségének családjaitól, az Áser nemzetségétől, a Nafthali nemzetségétől és Manassénak Básánban levő fél nemzetségétől sors szerint tizenhárom város;
7 The children of Merari according to their families had twelve cities out of the tribe of Reuben, out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.
Mérári fiainak az ő családjaik szerint a Rúben nemzetségétől, Gád nemzetségétől és Zebulon nemzetségétől tizenkét város.
8 The children of Israel gave these cities with their pasture lands by lot to the Levites, as the LORD commanded by Moses.
Adák azért Izráel fiai e városokat és ezeknek legelőit a Lévitáknak, a miképen megparancsolta vala az Úr Mózes által, sors szerint.
9 They gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are mentioned by name:
Adák pedig a Júda fiainak nemzetségéből és Simeon fiainak nemzetségéből ezeket a városokat, a melyek névszerint olvashatók.
10 and they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.
És lőn, hogy esék a sors először a Lévi fiai közül való Kehátnak családjaiból az Áron fiaira.
11 They gave them Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak (also called Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its pasture lands around it.
És adák nékik az Anák atyjának városát, Kirjáth-Arbát, azaz Hebront a Júda hegyén, és annak körülötte levő legelőit;
12 But they gave the fields of the city and its villages to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
A városnak szántóföldjét és faluit pedig Kálebnek, a Jefunné fiának adák birtokául.
13 To the children of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, Libnah with its pasture lands,
Az Áron pap fiainak pedig adák a gyilkosok menekülésének városát, Hebront és annak legelőjét, Libnát és annak legelőjét.
14 Jattir with its pasture lands, Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,
Jatthirt és annak legelőjét; Estemoát és annak legelőjét;
15 Holon with its pasture lands, Debir with its pasture lands,
Holont és annak legelőjét, és Debirt és annak legelőjét;
16 Ain with its pasture lands, Juttah with its pasture lands, and Beth Shemesh with its pasture lands: nine cities out of those two tribes.
Aint és annak legelőjét, Juttát és annak legelőjét, Béth-Semest és annak legelőjét. Kilencz várost e két nemzetségből.
17 Out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its pasture lands, Geba with its pasture lands,
A Benjámin nemzetségéből pedig Gibeont és annak legelőjét, Gébát és annak legelőjét;
18 Anathoth with its pasture lands, and Almon with its pasture lands: four cities.
Anathótot és annak legelőjét, Almont és annak legelőjét: négy várost.
19 All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.
Az Áron fiainak, a papoknak városai összesen tizenhárom város és azoknak legelői.
20 The families of the children of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the children of Kohath, had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.
A Kehát fiai családjainak pedig, s a Kehát fiai közül való többi Lévitáknak városai, az ő sorsuk szerint, az Efraim nemzetségéből valának.
21 They gave them Shechem with its pasture lands in the hill country of Ephraim, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Gezer with its pasture lands,
Nékik adák ugyanis a gyilkosok menekülésének városát, Sikemet és annak legelőjét az Efraim hegyén, és Gezert és annak legelőjét;
22 Kibzaim with its pasture lands, and Beth Horon with its pasture lands: four cities.
Kibczaimot és annak legelőjét, Béth-Horont és annak legelőjét: négy várost.
23 Out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its pasture lands, Gibbethon with its pasture lands,
A Dán nemzetségéből pedig Elthekét és annak legelőjét, Gibbethont és annak legelőjét;
24 Aijalon with its pasture lands, Gath Rimmon with its pasture lands: four cities.
Ajjálont és annak legelőjét; Gath-Rimmont és annak legelőjét; négy várost.
25 Out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its pasture lands, and Gath Rimmon with its pasture lands: two cities.
A Manassé fél nemzetségéből pedig: Taanákot és annak legelőjét, Gath-Rimmont és annak legelőjét: két várost.
26 All the cities of the families of the rest of the children of Kohath were ten with their pasture lands.
Összesen tíz várost és azoknak legelőit a Kehát fiai többi családjainak.
27 They gave to the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh Golan in Bashan with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Be Eshterah with its pasture lands: two cities.
A Gerson fiainak pedig, a kik a Léviták családjaiból valának, adák a Manassé fél nemzetségéből a gyilkosok menekülésének városát, Gólánt Básánban és annak legelőjét, és Beesterát és annak legelőjét: két várost.
28 Out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion with its pasture lands, Daberath with its pasture lands,
Az Issakhár nemzetségéből pedig: Kisjont és annak legelőjét, Dobráthot, és annak legelőjét,
29 Jarmuth with its pasture lands, En Gannim with its pasture lands: four cities.
Jármutot és annak legelőjét, és Én-Gannimot és annak legelőjét: négy várost.
30 Out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its pasture lands, Abdon with its pasture lands,
Az Áser nemzetségéből pedig: Misált és annak legelőjét, Abdont és annak legelőjét,
31 Helkath with its pasture lands, and Rehob with its pasture lands: four cities.
Helkathot és annak legelőjét, és Rehobot és annak legelőjét: négy várost.
32 Out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, Hammothdor with its pasture lands, and Kartan with its pasture lands: three cities.
A Nafthali nemzetségéből pedig: a gyilkosok menekülésének városát, Kedest Galileában és annak legelőjét, Hammoth-Dórt és annak legelőjét, és Karthant és annak legelőjét: három várost.
33 All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.
A Gersoniták összes városai, az ő családjaik szerint, tizenhárom város és azoknak legelői.
34 To the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its pasture lands, Kartah with its pasture lands,
A Mérári fiai családjainak pedig, e még hátralevő Lévitáknak, adák a Zebulon nemzetségéből: Jokneámot és annak legelőjét, Karthát és annak legelőjét,
35 Dimnah with its pasture lands, and Nahalal with its pasture lands: four cities.
Dimnát és annak legelőjét, Nahalált és annak legelőjét; négy várost.
36 Out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with its pasture lands, Jahaz with its pasture lands,
A Rúben nemzetségéből pedig: Béczert és annak legelőjét, Jahczát és annak legelőjét,
37 Kedemoth with its pasture lands, and Mephaath with its pasture lands: four cities.
Kedémothot és annak legelőjét, és Méfaathot és annak legelőjét: négy várost.
38 Out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Mahanaim with its pasture lands,
A Gád nemzetségéből pedig: a gyilkosok menekülésének városát, Rámothot Gileádban és annak legelőjét, Mahanaimot és annak legelőjét,
39 Heshbon with its pasture lands, Jazer with its pasture lands: four cities in all.
Hesbont és annak legelőjét; Jaézert és annak legelőjét: összesen négy várost.
40 All these were the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites. Their lot was twelve cities.
A Mérári fiainak városai az ő családjaik szerint, a kik a Léviták családjai közül maradtak fel, valának az ő sorsuk szerint összesen tizenkét város.
41 All the cities of the Levites among the possessions of the children of Israel were forty-eight cities with their pasture lands.
A Lévitáknak összes városai az Izráel fiainak birtoka között: negyvennyolcz város azoknak legelőivel.
42 Each of these cities included their pasture lands around them. It was this way with all these cities.
Valának ezek a városok a tulajdonképeni város és körülöttök azoknak legelői. Így vala ez mind e városoknál.
43 So the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers. They possessed it, and lived in it.
Megadá azért az Úr Izráelnek mindazt a földet, a mely felől megesküdött vala, hogy odaadja azt az ő atyáiknak. És bírák azt, és lakozának abban.
44 The LORD gave them rest all around, according to all that he swore to their fathers. Not a man of all their enemies stood before them. The LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
Nyugodalmat is ada nékik az Úr mindenfelől, szintén úgy, a mint megesküdött vala az ő atyáiknak. És senki nem állott meg ellenökben valamennyi ellenségeik közül; minden ellenségöket kezökbe adá az Úr.
45 Nothing failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
Nem esett el csak egy szó is mindama jó szóból, a melyet szólott vala az Úr az Izráel házának. Mindaz betelt.
