< Job 30 >

1 “But now those who are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I considered unworthy to put with my sheep dogs.
Fa ankehitriny kosa dia mihomehy ahy na dia izay tokon-jandriko aza, dia zanak’ ireo izay nolaviko tsy ho isan’ ny amboa miandry ny ondriko akory aza.
2 Of what use is the strength of their hands to me, men in whom ripe age has perished?
Eny, mampaninona ahy ny herin’ ny tànan’ ireo. Izay efa very fahatanjahana?
3 They are gaunt from lack and famine. They gnaw the dry ground, in the gloom of waste and desolation.
Manjenjena noho ny tsi-fisian-kanina sy ny mosary izy; Homankomana foana any an-tany karankaina izy, dia eo an-katoky ny loza sy ny fandringanana.
4 They pluck salt herbs by the bushes. The roots of the broom tree are their food.
Mitsongo anambodihena eo amin’ ny kirihitrala izy, ary ny fakan’ ny anjavidy no fihinany.
5 They are driven out from amongst men. They cry after them as after a thief,
Roahina tsy ho eo amin’ ny olona izy sady akoraina toy ny mpangalatra.
6 so that they live in frightful valleys, and in holes of the earth and of the rocks.
Any an-dohasaha mahatsiravina no tsy maintsy itoerany, dia ao an-dava-tany sy an-dava-bato.
7 They bray amongst the bushes. They are gathered together under the nettles.
Minananana eny amin’ ny kirihitrala izy ary mitangorona eo ambanin’ ny amiana.
8 They are children of fools, yes, children of wicked men. They were flogged out of the land.
Zanaky ny adala izy sady zanaky ny tsy manan-kaja, ka roahina tsy ho eo amin’ ny tany.
9 “Now I have become their song. Yes, I am a byword to them.
Ary ankehitriny efa ataony an-kira aho. Eny, efa ambentinteniny aho.
10 They abhor me, they stand aloof from me, and don’t hesitate to spit in my face.
Ataony toy ny zava-betaveta aho ka halaviriny, ary tsy menatra handrora ny tavako izy.
11 For he has untied his cord, and afflicted me; and they have thrown off restraint before me.
Fa noketrahin’ Andriamanitra ny kofehiko, ka nampietreny aho; Ka dia mba nesorin’ iretsy kosa teo anatrehako ny lamboridiny.
12 On my right hand rise the rabble. They thrust aside my feet. They cast their ways of destruction up against me.
Misy androvolahy mitsangana eo ankavanako; Manosika ny tongotro hiala izy ary manandratra tovon-tany hampidirany loza amiko.
13 They mar my path. They promote my destruction without anyone’s help.
Mandrava ny lalako sy manararaotra ny andravana ahy izy, nefa ny tenany tsy manan-kamonjy,
14 As through a wide breach they come. They roll themselves in amid the ruin.
Toy ny fiditra eo amin’ ny banga lehibe no fihaviny, ka avy ao amin’ ny voarava no imaonany.
15 Terrors have turned on me. They chase my honour as the wind. My welfare has passed away as a cloud.
Voatodika hamely ahy ny fampitahorana: Manenjika ny voninahitro tahaka ny rivotra izy, ka levona tahaka ny rahona ny famonjena ahy
16 “Now my soul is poured out within me. Days of affliction have taken hold of me.
Ary ankehitriny, raraka ato anatiko ny fanahiko. Fenjàn’ ny andro fahoriana aho.
17 In the night season my bones are pierced in me, and the pains that gnaw me take no rest.
Ny alina mampahalò ny taolako ho afaka amiko, ary tsy mitsahatra ireo manotahota ahy ireo.
18 My garment is disfigured by great force. It binds me about as the collar of my tunic.
Noho ny haben’ ny hery dia tonga tsy antonona ny akanjoko, manenda ahy tahaka ny vozon-dobaka izany.
19 He has cast me into the mire. I have become like dust and ashes.
Eny, nanary ahy teo amin’ ny fotaka Izy, ka efa tahaka ny vovoka sy ny lavenona aho
20 I cry to you, and you do not answer me. I stand up, and you gaze at me.
Mitaraina aminao aho, nefa tsy mihaino ahy Hianao; Mijoro eo aho, nefa ierenao foana.
21 You have turned to be cruel to me. With the might of your hand you persecute me.
Efa manjary lozabe amiko Hianao; Ny herin’ ny tananao no andrafianao ahy.
22 You lift me up to the wind, and drive me with it. You dissolve me in the storm.
Aingainao ho eny amin’ ny rivotra aho ka alefanao handeha, ary levoninao amin’ ny tafio-drivotra mifofofofo ho tsinontsinona aho.
23 For I know that you will bring me to death, to the house appointed for all living.
Fa fantatro fa hampodinao any amin’ ny fahafatesana aho, dia any amin’ ny trano fivorian’ ny olombelona rehetra.
24 “However doesn’t one stretch out a hand in his fall? Or in his calamity therefore cry for help?
Kanefa tsy manainga ny tànany va ny olona, raha ianjeran’ ny rava? Ary tsy mitaraina va izy, raha tratry ny loza?
25 Didn’t I weep for him who was in trouble? Wasn’t my soul grieved for the needy?
Tsy nitomany ny ory va aho? Tsy nangorakoraka ny malahelo va ny fanahiko?
26 When I looked for good, then evil came. When I waited for light, darkness came.
Fa niandry ny soa aho, kanjo tonga ny ratsy; Ary nanantena ny mazava aho, kanjo avy ny maizina.
27 My heart is troubled, and doesn’t rest. Days of affliction have come on me.
Nandevilevy ny tsinaiko ka tsy nanam-pitsaharana; Nitsena ahy ny andro fahoriana.
28 I go mourning without the sun. I stand up in the assembly, and cry for help.
Mitsaitsaika mitafy lamba fisaonana aho sady tsy mahita masoandro; Mitsangana aho ka mitaraina eo ampivorian’ ny olona.
29 I am a brother to jackals, and a companion to ostriches.
Rahalahin’ ny amboadia aho Ary naman’ ny ostritsa.
30 My skin grows black and peels from me. My bones are burnt with heat.
Efa mainty ny hoditro sady miendakendaka, ary efa karankaina noho ny hafanana ny taolako.
31 Therefore my harp has turned to mourning, and my pipe into the voice of those who weep.
Nanjary fisaonana ny lokangako. Ary feon’ ny mitomany ny sodiko.
