Psalms 28
1 [A Psalm] of David. To thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, [if] thou shouldst be silent to me, I should become like them that go down into the pit.
A ti clamarei, ó Senhor, Rocha minha; não emmudeças para comigo: se te calares para comigo, fique eu similhante aos que descem ao abysmo.
2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry to thee, when I lift my hands towards thy holy oracle.
Ouve a voz das minhas supplicas, quando a ti clamar, quando levantar as minhas mãos para o teu sancto oraculo.
3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace to their neighbors, but mischief [is] in their hearts.
Não me arremesses com os impios e com os que obram a iniquidade; que fallam de paz ao seu proximo, mas teem mal nos seus corações.
4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
Dá-lhes segundo as suas obras e segundo a malicia dos seus esforços; dá-lhes conforme a obra das suas mãos; torna-lhes a sua recompensa.
5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he will destroy them, and not build them up.
Porquanto não attendem ás obras do Senhor, nem á obra das suas mãos; pelo que elle os derribará e não os reedificará.
6 Blessed [be] the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
Bemdito seja o Senhor, porque ouviu a voz das minhas supplicas.
7 The LORD [is] my strength, and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
O Senhor é a minha força e o meu escudo; n'elle confiou o meu coração, e fui soccorrido: pelo que o meu coração salta de prazer, e com o meu canto o louvarei.
8 The LORD [is] their strength, and he [is] the saving strength of his anointed.
O Senhor é a força d'elles: tambem é a força salvadora do seu ungido.
9 Save thy people, and bless thy inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
Salva o teu povo, e abençoa a tua herança; e apascenta-os e exalta-os para sempre.
